Motivated in-shape wealthy people high on the idea of summiting the tallest peak in the world, and spending weeks in close proximity? This sounds like a recipe for hook up city!
Really? TENS OF THOUSANDS only for the base camp? Weeks of preparation? Im pretty sure you're spending more money than you need to. Id like to be wrong though..
This is rediculous! Such Luxury is NOT any form af Alpinism. Its cheating to get up to the mountain, relying on other actually experienced people, who do most of the work. Pure arrogance to get up to the summit. such puople should be ashamed of themselves. Still, well structured and presented video. So much for marketing....
I’ve been wondering and wondering why these wealthy novices think they can get up that mountain. Watching this marketing and the five star chefs and heated tents etc I can see the line these people have been sold. Upon research I see this company does have prerequisites for climbers. But man, this is a far cry from the Death Zone videos I have watched.
For real. It’s a bit gross actually. Like what’s the point other than “bag it and brag it”? People are no longer truly testing themselves at that point.
The higher end "accommodations," 5 star chef, etc. sounds like it's for absolutely entitled a$$holes. No wonder there are literally over 1,000 people climbing all at once. Even if I could risk it, I never would. It's like high altitude Disneyland - overcrowded and overpriced.
Imagine when twisted toroids are available on helicopters, you'll be able to summit without so much as your coat on! Flown straight from the 1st class lounge of the nearest international airport. AND it'll hardly increase your carbon footprint. ........and Americans wonder why they're unpopular 🤔
Did i just watched a 7min ad
What's the distance and elevation gain for Kathmandu to base camp? Over how many days?
Yea that bridge alone would end it for me
Is there a sedan chair or escalator option available?
do people who want an everest experience but not the extremities of going to the sumit just hike to base camp or some other point on the mountain?
I'm planning to go EBC in September. How can I book my place with your company
Hi Ahmad - you can email us at info[at]climbingthesevensummits.com
I can't imagine spending 40k or however much to climb, and getting sick and have to go back, or worse dying.
“To live is to risk it all otherwise your just another inert chunk of randomly assembled molecules drifting wherever the universe blows you”
