What are you favorite affordable skincare products? :D
Cetaphil!
Cerave
The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid with Matrixyl and The Ordinary Vitamin C 30%.I've repurchased both several times.
So glad your back, totally missed you and hope your healing well!
Ole henriksen has a really good toner to correct dark spots, love it. I also use their under eye brightening cream. Benefits has a matte sunscreen and I just mix that in with my gel moisturizer; belief aqua bomb or neutrogena. Murad is great for acne prone skin when my face is breaking out and if it's not I'll use egg white pore foam. And at nights I'll use kiehls midnight recovery which makes my skin look amazing in the morning.
BeautywithEmilyFox The Ordinary Azeliac acid, COSRX oil free ultra moisturizing locution, and Acewell Licorice pH Balancing EssenceMist. Perfect combo for my sensitive skin 🧡
You look soo pretty in here!!
me too!
Yes, you look wonderful and healthy!
I love the Ordinary. It has everything and it's so affordable. And it works.
Have you tried anything from Fourth Ray beauty (Colourpops sister brand)?? KathleenLights has mentioned them a few times but I relate a lot to your skin type and was curious about your thoughts! I’m currently in love with ceraVe cleanser and moisturizer but have been looking to broaden my skin care regimen
go for biore UV kids.. it's good for sensitive skin
Dupes and cheaper brands are my favourite kinds of makeup/skincare videos :p
Totally there with the Biore sunscreen. It smells citrusy and is so sheer and lightweight. There is no zinc oxide to ghost out your face. I love it and highly recommend!
Canmake mermaid gel has zinc oxide but goes on clear on the face.
Ugh I am obsessseddd with The Ordinary, they are the best. This is the first time in my life I have a solid skincare routine and it is because I actually get it now..And it is affordable.
I've seen the Ordinary being sold at the Bay as well. Just a tip for the viewers out there.
I’ve been addicted to skincare lately and was so excited to see this from you!!!
The ordinary is now sold in ulta!
Yaaas! Biore Aqua Rich is my EVERY DAY must have in my routine!
Hi Emily! I love watching your videos been a subby of yours for a while now. BTW, biore watery essence is the best sunscreen! Been using is for years.
I love these videos!! They are so helpful, of course we all love good and afordable skincare products
Hope you re recovering well ❤️❤️❤️
If you have sensitive skin, prone to acne or break out, or just if you wanna take a REAL good care of your skin, I STRONGLY recommend to subscribe to Dr. Dray's Channel! She's a dermatologist, and she's awesome!! My skin game has completely change since I found her, and for a fraction of the price and the time I was spenting on it before! You dont have to spent big money to have awesome skincare, you just have to know what to look for and what to absolutely avoid (fragrance especially)... One line that she recommands a lot that is very affordable and is my personnal favorite is Cerave!! It's simply the best thing I've done for my skin!! 👌 Go watch her!!
I've got the ordinary moisturizer and I love it.
Love dupe videos and your videos!!😍
Hi Emily, is this a pre filmed video? How are you doing after surgery? Will you do another update? I'd be very interesten in hearing what has changed for you after surgery and how you are doing. ❤
For the Vitamin C dupe, a lot of the time they aren't mixed with right ingredients in order for the Vitamin C to actually work and be effective. It has to do with the type of Vitamin C, concentration, formulation, combination, etc. And creating the right formula that is stable can be costly, which is why brands like Drunk Elephant cost more. I definitely agree in finding cheaper alternatives, but in some cases for skin care items, it may be beneficial to stay with the higher end brand.
That Melano CC vitamin C is awesome! my favorite moisturizer is from Hada Labo toner and moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and arbutin (blue bottle). I went from oily to combo skin, its amazing!
I came across your channel by recommendation on reddit and I am so glad! I struggle to find influencers with skin like mine and they way you described yours is exactly like mine. Looking forward to checking some of these products bc I too have a hard time finding skin care products that don't break me out. Thanks so much!
By combination skin HATES hyaluronic acid. 😅
With hyaluronic acid, try applying it on wet skin and then seal it with face cream .
I have the Rohto Melano CC, too. I apply it all over my face after eye cream then follow it up with my Hada Labo shirojyun lotion then Cosrx sun cream. It's part of my morning skincare routine.
I just adore you! I’m 44 and I totally love all your recommendations. My needs are just a little different bc my skin is aging but i always find great products through your vids. Hope you are doing well after your surgery. You look amazing!! Thanks again!! Oh and thank you for being so easy to listen to. There are so many YT’s that are so hard to listen to. Like nails on a chalkboard lol. I love the way you get to the point and you don’t repeat yourself over and over and your very intelligent! That’s so hard to find these days . Sad but true! 😘
Stephanie Keith Do you have any recommendations for dry mature skin? You are young but I’m always looking for recs for my mom from 40+ women
pandatours I really don’t have dry skin. Mine is more oily to combo. My problem area is sun damage, hyperpigmentation and of course fine lines . I adore the regimen the Ordinary has for hyperpigmentation. I use it and IT cosmetics face cream. I also love rose hip oil, and real aloe Vera. I usually do derma rolling once a week also. Seems to really help.
Yeyyy for asian skincare products!!
❤️❤️❤️
What lipstick are you wearing in this video?? The pink is so beautiful I have a hard time finding pinks that don’t come off as that harsh Barbie pink
I just want to say you are always beautiful even after and before plastic surgery but I know you did it more so for health reasons and you are such a brave girl and I'm so glad you have everything fixed and that you can breathe now❤❤❤
I love K and J beauty, so I spend a lot on YesStyle. The biore sunscreen was my very first Japanese sunscreen
The Ordinary is now sold at Ulta too! Yay for points! 🙌🏼
I love Innisfree sheet masks, and they are under $2!
My skin is ridiculously sensitive and I am always terrified of trying new skin care products, but I still watched this whole video, haha.
Cerave
Unless your skin hates fatty alcohol then stay FAR FAR away lol
I bought the watery essence because of you months ago. I love that it's so lightweight
I really like the brands Pixi, Acure and Versed; which are all sold at Target. I cannot wear anything with Dimethicone (or silicones). Acure and Versed usually stay away from silicones and Pixi's Phenomenal Gel does not contain silicones either. My most recent find is FOURTH RAY!!! Amazing.
Vicki Noble just started with some versed skincare! using the skin clearing serum currently ☺️ loving it!
I tried that Biore sunscreen this summer and I love it 👍🏼
The ordinary Azelaic acid has always been available in Canada Emily, it is the AHA 30% with theBHA 2% that is not approved by Health Canada, that is so ridiculous considering you can get much higher percentage from the US. Vive le Canada!! 😅 Great video and great products!
It's not anymore! The concentration is too high to be sold without a prescription in Canada.
Hi ma'am can u recommend a good face cream or serum
I bought IUNIC centella cream gel a few months ago but haven't opened it yet. I will start using it very soon😀. I also like (and about to finish) Canmake mermaid skin gel UV but I usually prefer mineral sunblocks. These two are my favourite ones: Etude House sunprise mild airy finish spf 50+ PA+++ and Goodal mild protect sun fluid spf 50+ PA++++. My absolute must have is Hadalabo gokujyun premium toner from Japan - THE best hyaluronic acid product I've ever used and I used many! It's like a runny gel, very hydrating but not heavy or sticky at all! I buy both on ebay😊
Why are you so gorgeous? :D
Cerave of course. I love Pixi’s Glow Tonic and it’s very affordable. Not quite as good a price as the Biore, but for the quality, I love Elta UV Clear for my spf. And it’s has lots of good skincare serum ingredients in it too like niacinamide.
Try Anessa sunscreen!
hey Emily! What are the chances we could get a video on favorite eyeliners and also application? Right now I'm using the stila liquid marker - fine tip. And I like it but I think I still need help with application. Also tried the elf brand liquid marker, not so great. So a comparison between brands would be really nice too :)
Yay ur back!!!!!!
Can you please do a skincare video with drugstore/affordable products including serum etc. We have such similar skin and I cant find a good combition of things that work. Please please please
Hi I love all of your videos, can you recommend best face wash for dry skin?
Cerave Hydrating Face Cleanser!
hi @beautywithemilyfox do you tried the brands "the poeples lab" and "valjean labs" yet?
Your eyeliner looks amazing!
I love the consistency of the UV Biore but has anyone else had problems with pilling of their foundation?
Azelaic acid should only be used nightly. Plus, it can cause some temporary tingling (which is weird, this is the only acid that does that for me) and it whitens your skin. Great for discoloration. Why is the consistency thick? Because I guess it requires that kind of base. I have had a lot azelaic acid formulas and they are all pretty thick.
YAAAAHHH I'M EARLY YO !!! 🤗🤗🤗
love this video ❤
I love canmake mermaid uv gel!! Omg it’s so good!! And it’s fragrance free as well. I just wish they could make a bigger bottle like 500ml , I only use it on my face and for the rest of my body that needs sunscreen protection , I just use Nivea spf 50 one.
I LOOOVED the Biore sunscreen but it sadly broke me out! It worked really well as a primer & looked so good under makeup too😭 My new fave is the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF 50+. It’s the only one that has not made me break out and doesn’t alter my makeup.
Pam P. also using that! loving it
I would love to hear more about The Ordinary products!! 😊
Omg Emily! Thank you for using and introducing Japanese products! Love from Japan
Yess love the idea of this video!
there are so many good inexpensive skin care products out there. things that are good for your skin just don’t cost a lot.
I'm SO excited to start trying the ordinary products now that they are sold in Ulta, I was weary to order from their website for quite awhile with all of the odd drama that was going on for a few. Plus we earn points at Ulta...win win! 😁
OMG I agree with most of the items you agreed. I tried them and I would repurchase them all over again.
I like the Azelaic Acid especially.
Love this video!!! How are you recovering Emily? X
Been thinking about new moisturizer then I saw this. Thank youu for sharing! I love the Biore sunscreen too!
This was great. Thanks! By the way, I believe that they advise us to apply their Azelaic Acid as the last product, after moisturizer. 💋🇨🇦
When I do that it rolls off my face sadly! I found it works better for me this way :)
The Ordinary doesn’t work for me especially the salicylic acid so that’s a no.
try Klairs sunscreen. its the best korean sunscreen
Fabulous video! Super helpful
Thanks, girlie🍃🌸
yayy
I just mentioned last week how I wanted to get a skincare routine, you read my mind!
I use that sunblock everyday..best
Hey Emily, the Biore sunscreen does contain ethanol, and it's the second listed ingredient - meaning there's a shit ton of it in there. Ethanol is pure alcohol and is very sensitizing on the skin. It's harmful for the skin even if you don't find you're sensitive to it at this moment.
I understand that it can make you sensitive but it's cosmetically very elegant, it dries this fast and feels like nothing on the skin because of the alcohol. If it makes people that don't use sunscreen use it... then it's worth it.
As long as I use moisturizer I don't notice any negative effects and it's also one of the only sunscreen that doesn't break me out so unless I can find something better, it's my fav!
Biore's the best sunscreen ever.
who else is waiting for part two
I adore the biore sunscreen.
Vitamin C products from the ordinary are also very effective.
For sunscreen I use missha sun essence spf45+++
This is my moisturizer in summer
Bioré is the best!
Allo Emily ! 🌸
Chimique - Mineral laisse toujours un résidu blanc!

I hate Biore sunscreen, but I have dry skin. I'm more Canmake mermaid uv gel team, even though it's not my favorite 😀
Similar to Biore one is Skin Aqua sarafit uv essence, it's even cheaper. They're similar in texture and it dries down quickly too. It also contains alcohol, but it's more tolerable, even with my dry skin 😀
How do the Biore and Canmake compare to each other? Also is Sarafit UV similar?
@@imyourhappydrug biore and canmake have almost the same texture. Canmake I find a little bit more slippery, when I have it on my fingers. Canmake dries down slower, but still under 10 minutes. The greatest difference is, that Canmake doesn't dry the skin out at all. It's hydrating.
Sarafit is heavier in texture compared to Biore. But still in a sense of gel/essence, if that makes sense😀 It's less drying than Biore, but still contains alcohol. I can make it work with with richer skincare underneath. Even if I wear it few days in a row, it doesn't dry me out, which I can't do with Biore. It dries down quickly as Biore. And for the same price you get double the amount as biore has😀
@@aidenandreaaa Thank you, that is very helpful!
Is that Biore sunscreen good for dry skin you think?
It wouldn't be my first recommendation! Either check the Canmake mermaid one I mentioned (link in the description box!) or check out this snail one bit.ly/2lcElZG (even cheaper!)
So happy you've expanded to Asian products 😍
