I just received my Delta 2 today. Even this device, which obviously has much less capacity than a Delta Pro, is amazing. I wanted it mainly for it's portability. I'm going to add an extra battery to the Delta 2, and then get a Delta Pro, also with an extra battery. We just had a storm here less than a month ago, and the power was out for nearly 3.5 days. I did have a 70Ah LiFePo4 battery and a 220 watt panel, so I wasn't without power, but I'll never go without a substantial system again. EcoFlow is leading the pack in these devices.
I got my Delta Pro last week. Prevously I planned to integrate it into my homesystem. After trying it in some situations, I recognized the fan is much too loud to use the ecoflow inside. Is there a possibility to configure the fan noise?
After reading many reviews and watching a lot of videos, I chose this option for my first backup power station. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHypYDKHAN93Lp2RQpfvU_ksc70wJ00pt I was between this and a larger option that could power a wider range of items, but the price/size/capacity blend seemed right for this unit. Hasn't gotten a ton of use yet, but the build quality is solid and it charges fine via the Rockpals solar panel I purchased to pair with it. One thing to note is that the screen is optimized for a top down viewing angle, which makes sense, but this means it washes out at other angles - especially low angles. Not a huge deal, but perhaps a better option for the display could be used to provide wider viewing angles.
The further away from the “regular” panel the more you have what is called voltage drop. Your panels should be close to each other the way it shows in the video.
I must be missing something; this install seems very straight forward. 80/90% of connections are done before even needing to touch the electrical box. All the smart home connections seem plug and play simple. In the electrical box you're just switching out the load wire per breaker with the appropriate wire from the smart panel. Then marrying the load wire to the other wire from the SHP. I still want an electrician to pull the permit and do the final hookup, but I feel the prep work (before the electrical panel) is straight forward.
Can't the output wires go directly to appliances instead of being routed to the house breaker panel? I understand i need to re route the conduit piping from the existing home breaker panel, my concern is too many joints and extra wires in the house breaker panel. I just rewatched, the house circuit breaker is attached to each input relay, with same current, in the smart panel. Then the live output (black wire, which confused me for negative) is connected to the appliance live wire previously removed from the house circuit breaker. And then another circuit breaker is added to the house panel for charging the two Delta Pros. The negative wire remains as was in the house breaker panel. Got it!
When I’m in the basement near the panel everything works fine over Bluetooth. But, it simply will not recognize and connect to my home wi-fi no matter how much I try, which means there is no way to access the panel using my phone elsewhere in the home or while away from home. I’ve gone back and forth with customer service, and followed all of their suggestions, but still nothing!
Sir, I was wondering the same thing about wifi, however it appears that the Smart Panel is bluetooth only, but some of the power packs have a 2.4ghz wifi ability. I may be wrong.
@@pauloneal2330 Actually, the Smart Panel is supposed to connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but mine won’t connect to Wi-Fi. EcoFlow techs have done remote troubleshooting and determined my Smart Panel is defective, so they are sending me a new one. Just today they sent me the pre-paid mailing label so I can return the defective unit.
I was looking for the same thing. My guess is that they tie into the actual delta pro units themselves. So you're limited to the size/amount of panels per battery unit. So to run a house off solar would probably require 4 at minimum, depending on what you have
I have an Ecoflow delta pro, I am wondering if it is necessary to use the "Smart Home Panel" made by Ecoflow? I've heard that this is just their brand, and it is very expensive compared to other control panels, what makes this better and why?
I would not spend that kind of money when I could just use the dual voltage hub on my two DPs and plug that 240v output to a 30 amp generator input to my existing panel with a lockout kit. To me this is much more effective
I can't get his panel to work, firmware update keeps failing, grid light flashes white and red, error light is on. I can't get live support to help with the issues...Had two different electricians take a crack at it. if anyone knows what we might be missing please let me know. Thanks,
I had to use another device to get the initial firmware to go, then it failed because my router lost power, once I got that powered back on it worked from that 2nd device to do the update
I had purchased 2 SHP, 4 Delta Pro, and 3 extra batteries. The 1st SHP and the 2 Delta Pro was working with no problems until I added the 2nd SHP. It can never pass the wire test on the 2nd SHP with all 10 circuits. Even I triple check all the wires and install one circuit at a time. It can never go past 4 circuits before I failed my wire test. Circuit the passed the wire test the day before will suddenly fail. It will sometime crosslink my circuit information between the 2 panels and locked my circuit because it’s not the correct information. I’ve been talking the tech support for the past 2 months and we have agreed that the problem is the software and they will find a patch and upload to me but I’m still waiting. I lost all the names I had put in on both panels 2 weeks ago and tech support told me it could be because their server went down and they will check with R&D and get back to me. That was the last time I heard from them. I had sent 3 follow up emails but no response. My 2nd SHP is running 240 but the software only allow me the choose 120. I am scare this could be a fire hazard but they are just ignoring my email.
Not sure why Ecoflow posted this video, I tried buying the smart panel, the company won’t sell it too me. I have a professional certified Electrician, whom stated he would install for me, but I guess you have to use Ecoflow electricians, whom never contacted me back after multiple attempts of filling out the survey.
I would advise avoiding Shop Solar, their tech support is most unhelpful. Deal dirctly with ECO Flow, or a different vendor if you are looking for an easier transition.
Hilarious. This won't work for most people because they have their main panel set in the wall between 2 studs and drywall. Not easy to go into the side.
Hilarious that someone who can’t open an electrical panel or cut a piece of drywall wants to install a backup electrical system, that can power an entire home… calls electrician, “hey sorry I’m not able to run another circuit it looks like your electrical panel is recessed into the wall like 70% of homes”

This is definitely something I need for my home back up power setup. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you sharing how easy it is to set it up. I want one already.
Already got my Delta Pro, just waiting on my Smart Home Panel.
This panel will definitely make life easier when switch power sources.
Can't wait for this. Wish I bought it the 1st time on the kickstarter
Simplicity in a box all run from the phone 👍 can’t wait to get my panel and Pro all connected to my solar

Dishwashers are louder than the fans

Does this prevent back feeding to grid

Where can I find the conduit he's using? I've never seen this.
Thanks for the video Ecoflow. I can't wait to get my SMP.
When is this coming out?
Excellent! Thanks a lot!!
When will this be available in Canada? Thanks
Where can I get the wires to extend to 40 ft from the regular panel to the smart panel?

Looks easy. Why does it cost so much to initial subpanel
My well pump runs on 240 volts. Will this be able to back that up?
How come this product isn’t available to be sold in Canada

Can we connect two ecoflow pros without enabling the 220V split phase so both ecoflows pros will be used just to power 120V circuts?
Yes. That's the default mode.
Can you please share were in can find the wire conduit that used on the connection between the panel and the circuit box? Thanks
anywhere
@@bluesman6220 Where is anywhere, that specific type is not available nowhere
What is the length of the cables that connect to the delta pros? Just ordered the equipment and my electrician will take some measurements.
how does the smart panel handle 240 volt appliances
Great idea eco flow delta Ultra lithium power station(6500 )(KWH
AMAZING 👍😎
Is this relevant to UK households? We are expecting many blackouts this winter, will it run my household needs.?
Looking forward to my SHP and second infinity cable!!
Hi, does the SHP come with one enfinity cable?
You mean these are actually available now?
Can you use the Smart home panel with the Ecoflow Delta Max?
If they'd quit giving them away for reviews, we might be able to buy one.
😂😂😂😂
Facts😂
instead of a Home Panel, Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch?
I’d rather use a manual transfer switch. Having to rely on Bluetooth/Wi-Fi to operate this device worries me in an emergency.
Where is the Bluetooth button. And how to turn it on? My Ecoflow app cannot detect the extra battery.
Thank you so much for this video...Please please make this panel available in Canada

How do you tie on solar panels

I have them. Each Delta Pro has a port for solar charging. Each Delta Pro is limited to 1.6kw input, so 2 of them is 3.2kw input. Not a lot.
2 Ecoflow Delta pro and 4 Ecoflow Delta Pro Expansion Battery Kit test it out on youtube be great 👍

While it is for demonstration purposes, who the heck did the breaker layout in that panel? One of the legs looks way overloaded.
Wish you would email me when it’s shipped instead of surprises at my door, wouldn’t want to be out of town when it arrives.
