The root cause of this problem erupted with Muhammad Abdul Wahab Najdi. He came up with two unique interpretation which the entire Muslim Ummah disagreed with (includinghis own brother who was a Hanbali). First : Tawheed Second : Aqeedah In terms of Tawheed he called everyone Mushrik Murtad and worse than the Kuffar of Mecca & Abu Jahal by cherry picking verses of the Quran. Then he re interpreted what is Bidah. Hanafih believe in 5 types of Bidah and Shafie school believes in 6. That has been the dominant position since the past 1200 years. Abdul Wahab said nope, these guys are wrong and EVERYTHING is a bidah when he interpret the hadith "kulu bid a tin dalala." Youth please learn your deen from people who have direct sanad which reaches the prophet. Don't take your religion from these people who don't understand basis concept of Asool Al Fiqh and Asool ul Hadith. You want to learn Aqeedah then study 'Aqeedah Tahawiyyah' then you are done with Aqeedah. In my country some people in several mosques have some invocations that they after praying which are not among those the prophet used to do and taught his companions. For example, they read all together surat al-fatiha, pray for the prophet... loudly. So what kind of bida this is ? So may I join them for doing that?

Right at the beginning the Word of Allah, as revealed to the Messenger (pbuh) says the Qur'an is straight and not crooked. Now we have this teacher telling us that the Word of God is "crooked" and full of "lacunae". So which should I accept? Qur'an or this teacher? It seems he serves the subject very well by first offering examples of innovation himself: to say who you are and why you that the Noble Book can only be understood by the likes of him. That's seems quite an horrendous innovation in itself.
Rasullullah saw has warned us that there will be Imam al mudillin. The imams who will misguide others in this end of time. They will speak very nice, with arabic terms, they will look nice but they will not follow the sunnah of the prophet. They will follow the sunnah of others. @@nazmulslater8398 ummm the current version of bidah is different from the bidah that was taught by the classical four imams from 1000 years. He's talking about that. Please, if you think the four great imams are misguided then you need serious revaluation. Just because Ibn Abdul Wahab and Ibn Taymiya introduced a different understanding that doesn't mean you can discard the classical understanding like this.

@@nazmulslater8398 sure. Go to your local library and pick up a classical book on bidah or go to your local sheikh and ask them. That's how I got mine. It's up to you if you don't believe it but don't go around degrading others by saying how the way of Abdul Wahab is the only way.
