Thanks for showing this. I wondered how hard it would be to pop out the existing hat. Looks like you got it worked out pretty quick. How hard would it have been to make it into a gus style? I got a Resistal hat like that (george straight) at a garage sale, and want to pop it all out, and make it into a gus. Would I ruin it, you think? I've never messed with this type of straw. Only palm leafs and a little with felt hats.
I spray paint my Strawhat to get the sweat stains out of it, which works however, when I put it on the dash of my truck it leaves paint. Any ideas about what to do with sweat stains and dirt? I use compressed air and high use soap and water on the dirt.
Dog got mine, actually it’s been several years. Anyone know what kind of adhesive/glue would work for anchoring the band back in around the hat midsection?
I actually restored my straw hat with steam from heating a pot of water, thank you Jesus Christ for Miguel very helpful video and you have a blessed 🙌 🙏 prosperous night in Jesus Christ Name 🙏 ❤ Amen 🙏!

Cracks me up when youtube viewers think the content creators owe them something. How dare you not have high end audio and editing equipment to make a video for me for free.

Break clean
What do you use for the stream ?
You can use an electric tea kettle or Jiffy Clothes Steamer.
If you don’t got a steamer just use that shit to boil hot water that’s what I did and it worked 😂, for my luffy straw hat
You can put a shape some aluminum foil over the pot to shoot out better
Dog got mine, actually it’s been several years. Anyone know what kind of adhesive/glue would work for anchoring the band back in around the hat midsection?
I’ve used super glue before
thanks bro. just got a f'd up hat from a friend.
How do you get a d crease out for a new shape??
my only advice is lots of steam and compression
Hey man do you like duranguense style hats??
Me personally no but I won’t discriminate brother 🤣
Can I do this on a préshaped hat from the store ?
yes you can it just depends on the material of the hat.
@@miguelflores-lo8po I bought a pre shaped resistol hat does that work ?
@@clexzelips4818 yessir you just need to steam it really well and smooth out the creases frost brother 👍🏼

Man! I just don’t know how I can take the wriggles from the front of my Stetson 1000X Shugton straw Cowboys ll
I’d say put lots of steam and leave something pressing on it for a couple minutes
Bro! Add “ASMR” to your titles

Barely audible - - ? bad audio. His mumbling was like watching the Seinfeld episode on the " low talker " . Two thumbs down.
Give him a break
