Hi Jay don't stress yourself staying in Ph. Life in PH is simple and pack of family, relatives and neighbors. Just be nice to them period. They will not ask you anything especially money but extending coming from your heart is acceptable. It's our nature Filipinos to extend our help to our parents. We love our parents very dearly. If we have extra money we help also our brothers and sisters it's not a compulsory but it is showing how we love our family. Family is family especially if full of love and respect. The Bayanihan Spirit starts in the family ❤❤❤

I'm an Aussie with a foot in Australia and the Philippines. The USA is my favourite country to visit. I've had 3 holidays there. I'm hearing you , I can't wait for the USA to be the USA I first experienced in 1998. Single dad doing Disneyland with 3 kids. The people have always been so friendly in the USA. Me I couldn't move from Australia permanently. I love my country , so for now I will visit and enjoy the best of both worlds.
You can't take kids to Disney now without being confronted by wokeness. All their movies are garbage now. It's like a switch went off when Obama got elected, and everything changed
You live in one of the beautiful countries of Kentucky. We visited it a few years ago and I fell in love in your countryside. In the next state, Tennessee. Filipinos are very close tight with families. I was blessed to meet my husband and brought me here in America, but I always took care of my family in the Philippines.
I feel you brother about the USA ! I was born in 1958 , in Camden, NJ. I had a wonderful childhood. But that kind of childhood is gone, and will never be back. Camden NJ is the most unsafe city in NJ and has been going down hill since then. I too am a very proud American, and I can't stand when someone tries to put her down. But don't worry about Kieri. She is smarter then us, quicker then us. I know just leaving is heavy on your heart , with your mom and family here. But Your secret weapon is Adelyn , she is your bridge . What a loving Mom. Bottom line, ALL you both can do, is what you are doing now . Show Kieri what it is to be raise up in a house of love . Cuz that is all she needs. Don't over think it. The Phils , are a restart of the USA. Maybe as much as 50 years ago. My Dad was in WWII in the navy and landed in Leyte. To free the Philippines. So one of my golds is to walk a mile in his shoes and visit Maybe live. I would love to meet another proud american like you one day in the Phils there, have a cup of coffee With your loving family by your side.
We can make that happen for sure! Idelyn already let's me know when you write, "hey dad, Mr.Britt wrote". 😀 yeah, I def overthink it, I notice I'm much worse now than I was when I was younger. Feel like time is running out so fast. It's hard to slow the brain down. Yes. My goals really are just introduce her and help her build her family life together with the ones who would look after her the best, longest. The wife has been mostly awesome for sure. She is a very strong and consistent partner and she loves being a mom. I'd hate to spend the next 10 years figuring it out and not have kinda vlogged pr documented it all and able to look back. Friend I hope you get to Leyte and find that feeling of being close to your dad. I know that's special. We will meet up most definitely. Stay safe buddy! 🙏 jay

Filipinas are plant crazy haha. I have a lill jungle in our suite here in Canada and hubby is getting jealous if I spend all day taking care of them on my day off . Plants are like kids, lots of work 😊
You’re doing a great job having her understand both cultures. I’m came here when I was 2 yrs old. I would love to live in the Philippines but it’s a lot of work. It may seem cheaper for certain things, but you need a steady income to be honest . Their system are still old school in some places. Then depending on the family and how they are Filipino tends to always ask for help in regards to money or what not. Not all of them but sometimes it happens. My Filipino parents didn’t raise me that way, they wanted me to be responsible, but not responsible for other people unless it’s my own family. I help my remaining family in the Philippines here and there because I want too but they never ask us for money or guilt trip us. There’s pros and cons in Philippines cultures but one thing I admire about us is that we never give up on life, no matter how hard things get. We always do our best to get through it. I love America, I agree it’s not the same but I hope it will be great again. I don’t think I can live in the Philippines forever, but always great to visit. America is my home, but I’ll never forget my roots. If I didn’t have the life I have here I wouldn’t be able to help my families back home. Thank you USA ❤
@@Its_OHaNa agree 💯, I don't know if I'll die there or here. Depends on my daughter's really. One in America 24, and the little one here. Will have to see how things play out. I don't know yet to be honest. But I do know I need to let the little one learn her background for a while.
Greeting Jay I agree with you a lot of what you had to say in this video. I met my girlfriend my future wife. My first visit to the Philippines I felt all the stress go away as soon as I landed. I will I was nervous meeting her family they made me feel so welcome and made me feel real welcome and even though her mom and dad English is not so good we still find a way to communicate and have fun. I would say what I love the most is they are fun we joke with each other on our different levels of communication. I always teased them about how we give each other nose bleeds trying to speak each others language when we don’t know the word for each other language. I’m only 34 and I have a ways to go before I retire. However now I’m making the changes in my career that’s going to allow us the ability to move back and forth between places two to three months at a time so we can spend time with both our families so as we grow our family once start trying here soon after we get married. Also I’m Proud to be an American is my favorite song.

Flying isn't always comfortable but that's part of traveling to see the world. I can see that your seat is too small for you so I suggest choosing the bulkhead seats when flying internationally even if you're paying a bit more at least you'll be comfortable because it's the best seat for tall folks like us! Anyway, although the flight there can be tiring, I believe your daughter will be thankful when she gets older because she's connected to her mother's culture. It's very hard for children that are biracial or multiracial like me to find your place but being able to connect with both parents cultures really help in understanding one's self. I'm 27 years old, 1/4 Filipina and half American. We are already exposed to Filipino culture at home (we're fluent in Tagalog and bisasay) but we moved to the Philippines when I was 6 because my American father believed that it would be a great opportunity for his children to immerse in the culture first hand. We lived in Luzon and Visayas for 5 years. We made so many friends that we still keep in touch with until now. Some are already living in the US so they visit my parents often lol. But I'm so grateful for my parents for teaching to appreciate our cultures/heritages.
To all forenger of this beautiful Earth,if your planning to marry a filipino/filipina always include to life that the whole family gang is also include to your life to support financially not all times BUT mostly So dont get mad of that situation, simply let filipino partner find a job that she/ he can alone provide for family itself.

Can't beat the prices either. Hopefully see you and your family soon
That's awesome, 450, wow. Yeah, the plan is in the works for this fall for a nice 90 day trip. Family time will be a month probably. Glad your enjoying your time, appreciate you 2. Stay safe friend.

Will just visit them when I have time. We’re 6 siblings and we are all here in America already especially California. Good luck to you. Like I said “happiness is from within.” God bless you all.

Hello Mrs.Glenda, thank you so much. appreciate you and your awesome comment. It does feel good knowing what is waiting for us in the Phils. I look forward to sharing it all with the channel. Hope to hear more from you, take care and be blessed. jay

Hello Ms. Glenda! Thank you very much! 😀 jay
Don't worry Sir Jay. You will be surprise when you come to the Philippines. Filipinos loves basketball. You might be able to enjoy the sports to another level. Looking forward to see you playing basketball in the streets with kids and adults.

I love my country , so for now I will visit and enjoy the best of both worlds.
thank you Bernard. Glad you get to enjoy both sides. you must be doing something right. be safe out there. jay
Yeah, I hear things about these communities of Filipinas around but we rarely see any. Lol 😆 hope you are well. JY
Biliran is a volcano island very beautiful....the sweetest water in the world is found there..its a little paradise
I'm starting to fall for the place. Being on a island like this for a few decade's could be a great idea. Thanks, jay

Great song choice!! 🎵 lol. Sorry for delay, been one long week and still got Saturday to go. Great story, awesome you still got youth on your side. I'm 51 and still feel I got youth on my side. Lol in philippines you. Hope to talk more, we got long journeys ahead. Stay in touch. Jay

That's awesome Moss! Great comment, love to hear stories like these. Makes me smile. Hope to hear more from you. Stay safe out there. Jay
16 hours sitting in those tight conditions is brutal
To all forenger of this beautiful Earth,if your planning to marry a filipino/filipina always include to life that the whole family gang is also include to your life to support financially not all times BUT mostly So dont get mad of that situation, simply let filipino partner find a job that she/ he can alone provide for family itself.
as a filipina, this mind set is toxic. di obligasyonni foreigner ang buong pamilya. and hindi ibig sabihin nakaasawa ng foreigner yumaman na. bana buto din pag may time ang pamilya
my Phillipino family treats me as one of their own..

hello Pamela Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I can see how a month-long vacation is a great way to enjoy the province, but it’s understandable to feel homesick after that. The northern part of Luzon has so much beauty and culture to offer, too! I appreciate your insight
T-mobile huh? so that would be my question then. what plan you using/costs ? thank u
I have never changed or had trouble with current plan. From 2018 till now. I just showed up in philippines and phone always worked. Didn't change to international plan either. Was in lockdown for 10 months during covid, also no issues. This past winter, 3 months in duma. T mobile is auto pay for me. It always just worked. Had no reason to figure anything out.
I think it's the 70 month, unlimited, plus home wireless like 50. Total monthly 125.0
It was not a complaint or a negative statement in any way, only an effort to be helpful.
I understand, I even asked wife. I appreciate you. She already gets tired of my voice doing all the editing. Lol she agreed with you. Always appreciate you! Thank you Tio!
