Justin, can you please talk about your quality control measures? And inspection process of the guns that go out the door? As a marketing manager could you please articulate this process? It's a very important topic. Thanks!
Another great video from the team at Colt. With the female market being the fastest growing segment of the firearms industry, it was great to hear you reference the benefits of the bobbed hammer and slick finish in regards to drawing from a purse or jacket. Perhaps a topic for one of the future episodes could be replacing the trigger assembly in an AR-15. That seems to be one of the primary changes some purchasers of Colt AR-15's seem to make. Anyway, have a great week....
I bought one (and the standard Cobra as well) a while back. I really like mine a lot, but I did switch out the factory grips with a set of Pachmayr grips after firing a cylinder of +P hollow points through it. My only real complaint is that the tritium front could be a bit brighter. Otherwise it's fantastic, great trigger and it shoots well.
finally, i hve found the best carry revolver for my self and home defense. salute for a very informative review of this gold standard carry revolver. simply the best out of the box
I bought one of these. The DLC finish just rubbed off like crazy I didn’t even fire it and it was pealing. I sent it back to Colt and they took 5 months to send it back and they just changed the frame but it was still pealing in other areas. I think the DLC coating was flawed maybe this is why Colt discontinued this gun.
I would love to see a king cobra version of this hand gun. I believe it would be very popular and it would also have even more versatility. would be nice if it would be set up for moon clips
"So in a pitch-black room, you can still sight the pistol [revolver]" - Yes, the "night sight" can be used to *find* the gun in the dark. I don't ever want to be *shooting* at anything in a pitch-black room. A flash light (or weapon light) is always required in darkness to see what you're shooting at.
If it was blued I would literally go buy another one. I wanted the 38 but I decided on the king cobra 3in because it's finish was a little nicer and I'm waiting to find a snub 38 blued finish
Bobbing or shrouding a hammer is a deal breaker. If you're concerned about a hammer snagging on the draw, shroud it with your thumb while drawing to preserve the option to fire in SA if you choose to cock the hammer after drawing. Hammer bobbing or shrouding is for newbs or undisciplined cops.
Price? It's always a good idea to mention the MSRP... Also, it's definitely time for Colt to bring back some of the 'bigger' snake guns too, like the Anaconda!
Please please...! This gun is so close to perfect. Make this gun as a .357 with a SHROUDED hammer so that it can still be used in single action (like the S&W 649 J-Frame). It would have an extra round over the Smith and in that awesome DLC black. Sacrificing SA when you obviously don't have to like we see with this bobbed hammer is a cryin' shame. The Night King Cobra???? Please????
Front night sight is completely useless in pitch dark environment without an illuminated rear sight to align the sights otherwise you'll have no clue where you're actually pointing your muzzle end. it maybe too high too low or veered too left or right. That why I prefer Kimber although I really like the new DLC.
It's too bad that you don't actually have the production facilities or the staffing to produce any of your guns in sufficient quantities for people to actually see them in the gun stores. They are nowhere to be found.
Colt has been doing a terrible job in Colorado. I can't get a hold of a single person who can get a colt night cobra out to me. Wtf is going on. You guys even have wrong phone numbers to Colt distributors.
I bought a night cobra a few months ago. NO regrets...its a awesome revolver. My new off duty gun ...replaced my colt commando 38 from 1986.
Hey Justin, are you still making this revolver? Thanks!

One for every family member!
🇺🇸❤️✅
Just bought one. Love this little 38. I use it to carry in my home in a Stoner OWB holster.
Excellent review! Thank you for posting 👍👍👍👍👍

Such a beautiful beautiful piece of American history!
Looks like another nice carry piece ,i will be adding one.
Do this on the King Cobra Carry
Also include the weight on the spec sheet.
Strongly considering one of these.

How about partnering with a Kydex holster maker for an AIWB holster?

So cool. Would love to EDC this one.
You guys are out of your mind with the price difference between the standard version!
Super nice Gun! I want one!
Let’s see that king cobra !
Well Im sold.

I sure would like to get my hands on one of these...sweet pistol!
Really just want this exact gun with an aluminum frame
Can you put a classic wood grip on it?

SO WHY WOULD YOU QUIT MAKING A GOOD SELLING REVOLVER ???
I love Colt firearms and own quite a few and it looks like I will be adding another.
Will there be another production run of these?
This needs to be offered in royal blue...
Add a removable shrouded hammer to the lineup.

What's the weight of the trigger pull on the night cobra ?
+TheColtFirearms we need the King Cobra Target with a proper target-length barrel; 5”-5.5” would be just right.
Can one short-stroke the trigger of the night cobra?
I wish colt made the regular cobra black
Looking for one now.
This looks like great personal protection but man is that a lot of money for a little gun
How much does the Night Cobra weigh?
Price? It's always a good idea to mention the MSRP... Also, it's definitely time for Colt to bring back some of the 'bigger' snake guns too, like the Anaconda!
MSRP is 899 if I remember correctly but on Gun Deals it can be found for less than 700, and regular Cobra is around 550 street price.
Rip off !!!! Plain and simple , not enough difference between the standard version to warrant that price . Overpriced!!!!!!!!!

Discontinued?
Sweet..! ✌🏼😎🇺🇸...
Can you change that grip out for wood? Give it that classic look
Yeah and add the hammer back to it for petesake !!!
@@jeffreyelliott622 you want a hammer? Get the regular one.....this one is fir concealed carry.
They should make one in 357. Magnum, then it would be perfect.
whats the weight on this?
If you're going to force viewers to put up with subtitles, you'd better make sure that the grammar and punctuation are flawless. ;-)
How about a S@W 500 competitor 50 cal 6 round 6 8 or 10 in barrel
Sweet I'll take to call it
Serpentor or mecha ti pan
🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫
Quit fucking around and start bringing back the Detective Special and the Python.
DLC is amazing G-10 seems like a painful option for any stout loaded pistol
Have one the g10 are crap! Cheap Ordered a nice set of wood grips. Other than that I like.

buy the s&w M&P340 colt is late to the game

what is the triger pull weight?
