I’ve few questions. Please answer when you see this comment.
1) Where did you swim 200mts! In open waters or in pool?
2) Did you float for 10 minutes? If yes, then how?
3) should we swim continuously 200 meters without a break of a second?
Hey
1. Open water for me
2. Yes, just float without any equipment
3. 200 m at one go, but ofcourse a beginner can take a few seconds gap in between.
They just want to see that you know how to swim with ease
Hi, can you please tell if the weather was pleasant in may month? Was it hot?
Hi
It was hot, but not too hot. It would get pleasant in the evenings. I grew up in Kolkata, so I am used to hot , but Neil Island was nothing compared to Kolkata hot .
Mostly you’ll be underwater or in shade, so it should be fine.
Also go for early or mid May, and do check the dates for the arrival of monsoon before you plan.
Good luck
Is there any risk involved in scuba diving as a beginner and as a first dive
To be very honest, diving comes with its own risks and to make sure there are none during your first dive, follow all the instructions carefully of your instructor, please openly let your instructor know of any medical issues that you might have.
Also, equalise frequently, and go with a recognised PADI / SSI certified dive school
How did you booked for the course ?
I directly contacted them on their instagram and booked it .
You can find the details in the description of this video
Is this course which you did was with PADI or SCUBAYOGI?
I did the Open water PADI certification, but the dive centre was Scuba Yogi
okay thank you! @@wayfarersimi
Swimming for 200m is a must to know to enroll for this course?
Yes, swimming for 200 m is a must , but it can be any stroke.
And you’ll yourself feel more comfortable in the water if you can swim.
Good luck 👍
@wayfarersimi Thank you so much for the information. Many congratulations to you on the completion of the course. 🤙
