I really wanna buy 1 if i have enough money to get scram 411
Do it you won’t regret it 😉
Am hoping has enough grunt for hills (with extra panniers etc and my bulk).
Need to test ride though👍
I loaded up my Himalayan a free days ago with about 30 kg camping gear in panniers and a dry bag and it went really well. It had enough grunt with my bulk and the ex tee a weight. One of my sons did had to help load up as I have a dodgy back but it didn’t put any extra strain on that either it was an easy ride.
Yeah it does really well with added weight in the panniers and a top bag.
@@RichGrueber Good to know am tempted to see what the 40bhp himi brings but will see might get a new bike pre xmas.
@@MauriceTarantulas you will be waiting till 2024 I think it is for the 450 Himi.
@@PubRunner Ahh cant wait that long. Some testing to do.
Also tempted by Moto Morini xcape 650, Meteor and even a Guzzi (love the looks and the big tank). The classic 350 is prob the best sounding also😉
Hello pub runner. Nice little video. I'm hoping to try one of these bikes soon.
I may have missed it... does this model have the same ceat tyres as the himalayan? Have you gone offroad much on the himalayan?
I'm not sure if I bought the scram whether a tyre upgrade is worthwhile?
Any way all the best. Murray
The back tyre is the same but the front is smaller but still a CEAT...
I really like them HEAPS of grip in the wet unlike the Pirelli Phantoms that were on my sons Continental GT they were terrible in the wet.
The rear Tyre at 4200 ks is just starting to flatten off but still heaps of tread left
@@PubRunner many thanks.
I'll just add on my experience, I bought a scram about a month ago and the ceat tires are actually pretty good. Plenty of grip on wet roads I've found.
@@jauken83 same here heaps of grip and great in the rain. However, the rear doesn’t last long and has developed to noticeably flatten off and will need replacing at the 5000k service. I will put a Mitas MT07 on I think.
@@PubRunner good to know, my bike is about to cross the 1000 mile mark, so I've got a ways to go.
