Kayaking to the Mokulua Islands from Lanikai Beach + Eating at Adela's Country Eatery

- On this adventure, we venture out to the windward side of Oahu to visit Lanikai Beach. We spontaneously rent a kayak from Kailua Beach Adventures to paddle over to the famous Mokulua Islands (aka the Mokes). We even see some Hawaiian monk seals! After working up quite an appetite, we head to Adela's Country Eatery for one of our favorite meals of our vacation! We end our last day at Aulani with tropical drinks from Monkeypod Kitchen and the ‘Ōlelo Room.

We love Monkey Pod so much. Wish there was one closer to us but it makes it that much more special when we do go on our trip to Hawaii 😌

Omg! At first I was so excited and “I want to kayak!” Then at the little island “hmm kinda sounds adventures” then you guys are back in the car and I’m like “nope! Nope! NOPE!” Courtney almost died nope nope. 😂 Glad you guys are safe on dry land and sound like tastebuds were the winners cause skin and muscle would not agree. 😊

Hello I'm really enjoying these vlogs :D thank you! I had a question: did you pre-book your car or buy it day of and which way would be better to rent (day of or pre-book). Also were you able to drop the car off at whatever time, since I saw they close at 1pm. Thanks again for these wonderful vlogs!!

We pre-booked months out. We were constantly checking prices leading up to our trip and the prices remained the same until our trip. We definitely recommend pre-booking that way you are guaranteed a car. If you try and book day of, there is a possibility that they may be out. It’s always nice to have the peace of mind that you will have a car reserved for you through a reservation. Also, we booked through Costco and if the price did drop before our trip, we could have cancelled the original reservation, gotten a refund, and then booked again with the cheaper price. Yes, we were able to drop off the car at anytime. You will leave it with the hotel valet and they will take care of it for you 😄

@@TheMainStreetDuo yes it is. Super close to the airport. Highly recommend it. We go right after we land and then again right before our plane departs. Incredible food. Check it out next time you go. :)
