I am going to try this and see if it works. I wish you the best and I am sorry that you have to suffer through pain like this!

Helpful and effective exercise
Getting out of bed is a nightmare I can barely walk 😢 thank you I will try this exercises every morning.
Thanks for sharing. I hope they help a little. I would encourage you to be reviewed by your treating rheumatologist to see if your management can be altered. Though exercises can be helpful, having your symptoms controlled with the correct medication is an important first step which make exercising more beneficial.
This really helps! Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate the support

Just got my blood tests back after what the orthopedic doc diagnosed as tendinitis 8 weeks ago. It then started affecting both hands, wrists feet and my GP suggested blood tests. Positive RA. Have gone from low impact standing workouts of an hour plus to this situation in just 8 weeks. Tomorrow I see my GP so hope to be prescribed something to ease this incessant pain 24/7. Yes, first thing in the morning is particularly challenging. Actually I already do some of these when I wake in the night with pain. Best wishes to everyone on this journey.
Thanks for sharing your journey thus far. Hope things stabilise and then you can progressively increase your training once more. Good luck with it all.
I would encourage you to look up rheumatoid arthritis and diet changes. There are some things you can do to help lesson the effects just by changing your diet.
Thank you for such effective great tips !

Just did these. They help. Thank you. I’m 32 and was just diagnosed this year though I think I’ve had it for a few, and I have joint hypermobility on top of that, so I’ve always been leery of doing any ‘ol exercise because I don’t want to make things worse. This was perfect 💖
Glad these helped. Thanks for sharing your story too and good luck.
I am 33years old. I was diagnosed RA this year. I hope this can help me.
Do you get rib pain, the neck
I’m in same boat
Ah I'm also a young arthritee, 34 and got diagnosed at 30 :( used to be a dancer, it's so hard finding something that doesn't make the pain worse!
I am 32 and just got positive for RA in blood report. Thanks for sharing 👍i suffer a lot while getting out of bed and gonna try this tomorrow morning.
Thanks for sharing. Please take it easy and make sure you follow up with your treating doctor to make sure your management is on track.
It is too young to have RA. if you can up to 100, 60 years you need to go. try to use arthron5. why do not try? RA is not a fever that symple problem. need to care. find other medicine to get vback normal.
I am 25 thanks for the tip

For me, my knees, ankles and feet need the most attention. It's a bit hard when you have to get up quick to use the bathroom! But I must, must start moving my feet and ankles before getting out of bed!
Yes, movement is the key. Thanks for sharing. And yes it is difficult when you have to go to the toilet quickly.

Thanks for that
Appreciate the support. Thank you.
Thank full
Thank you for sharing these tips. It's one thing I intend to try because I don't want to rely on medication or medical specialists. The only ones who benefit from medications are those who prescribe them.
Hi- 58 yr old RA began 17 years ago. This really hits the spot! Getting straight out of bed is too painful. Request?- do these much slower :)
Thanks for sharing. Point taken :)
I just started struggling with RA for the past couple weeks and have been feeling useless being unable to workout heavy or drum. Definitely gonna try this!
Thanks Jerilyn for the comment. Remember, it is a generic routine with the aim to get joints moving and help with stiffness. Just want to stress the importance of still following up with your rheumatologist and/or other practitioners to make sure management of your condition is specific for you. Good luck with it.
RA patients need to use arthron 5 to recover.
My RA factor is 26 and I feel stiffness in my lower back. Does this exercise work in lowering down the level
@@studybuffs3927 Arthron 5 can help you remove the the factor from 26 to 0. 26 is not really high.
R u taking any medication, what are they?.
What do you do when you cant do most of these. Genuinely asking. I've been trouble shooting trying to do what I can but moving my back like that is damn near impossible and bending at the hip is excruciating.
*Edit*
I saw some people liked this, I'm assuming you might be in my position, I just want to say that I have improved alot. My physical therapist says I'm doing better and has me doing more exercises. So try going to a physical therapist. Best thing I've done.
Hi Jahmai, thanks for your question and sorry for your situation. I am going to make the assumption that you have been diagnosed appropriately. Hopefully, there are still medication options for you to reduce the inflammation or to help you with pain. Exercises tend to work better if acute pain can be controlled at the same time. Now, if you have restriction in your joints and the pain has been long standing and all other therapies have been exhausted then having a specific program developed for you by a trusted professional is probably best as it is too difficult for me to give you advice of this sort in such a forum. Other general options are hydrotherapy (exercises in a pool and often in warm water) allow for more gentle movement. This can help. The aim is to start with more simple exercises and as your confidence builds, to slowly make them a bit harder. Hope that helps.
Thanks I'm starting methotrexate soon. So hopefully I'll get the relief so that I can workout.
My wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis and she has a lot of pain. I will tell her to do these exercises as you have recommended. Hopefully this will help, to some extent!!
Thanks for your positive feedback. Please remember that these exercises should be done gently and that they are general in nature. I would suggest that your wife still seek specific advice to get the best possible outcome. Good luck with it all.
Vethathiri Mahsrishi's exercises are almost similar to these.
how much duration and repetitions for these exercises
The aim of this routine is for it all to be gentle. You should move at a speed and length of time dependent on how you feel. As a guide, the movements should be slow and gentle for about 10-20sec for most of the movements. Repetitions of the exercises lying down and the neck stretches would be once for about 10-20sec (moving slowly for that whole time). For the rolling up and down and follow on exercises, 2-3 times would be good. Take care and hope that helps.
Can you suggest some excerciae for Rhumeatoid patients and the patient is having left elbow inflammatory since last 1 year
Hi Anshu, unfortunately it is a tough question to answer as I am fearful to prescribe exercises without knowing more about your elbow pain and whether it is related to the rheumatoid arthritis or not. Reason being is that not doing the right exercise at the right intensity and volume can actually make you worse. Also elbow pain related to where the forearm muscles attach to the elbow can be inflamed as a result of the disease. Hence, the best I can do is to recommend that you get your elbow specifically assessed by a doctor or practitioner. Good luck with it.
treatment available in homeopathy, pls consult near by doctor , i have this desease and started homeopathy treatment from dr. kalyan banerjee
Can you tell me where is his dispensary? I'm also suffering from this disease, have so much joint pains.
i've been diagnosed with RA on top of the lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus) since i was 14. i'm turning 24 now and mornings are always STILL the hardest. gonna try these soon so i can hopefully make it easier for myself to get up in the morning
Thanks for sharing. Hope it can help a little plus I do hope you have a good team around you with your management. Let us know how you go.
Same buddy , I've been diagnosed with RA at the age of 16 in 2015 , now I'm turning 24 .
I cant fold my right knee as u did😢itsso painful
_ up to the 1:42 mark, all these little exercises are perfectly doable for me. For the "lean and rise" exercise, I have a bad habit of holding myself to any upper flat surface whenever I try to sit down or up; so how can I sit up if I do not have any table or a reasonably high furniture surface?
_ next, for the wall push-up, I get that the hands must be as the same height as the shoulders, but does that mean that they should be on the same alignment or more close to the center or away from it? Because of that unknown factor (for myself), I was never able in my life to do any push-ups.
I should also precise that I'm a 27-year old Aspie French citizen (you can already guess that my country is WAY late for diagnosing autistic disorders, compared to any British countries), and hasn't done any sports or physical activity (aside from walking 20 miles per week), so I've lost a big chunk of muscle mass and converted indirectly that lost mass into fat mass...
I'm not fully expecting a global answer to my overall condition, but if I can get some reasonable advice on how to improve or to better learn any of the functional movements, I would gladly read some responses and comments that might point me in the right directions and tips.
Sad rheumatoid destroy our whole life...we don't know what to do
I’m an 18 yeard old and for me it’s really hard to get up in the morning sometimes. I hardly stretch and I think I should start doing that so that it helps a little.

suggest use Canadian licensed Arthron 5 to recover. contact the producer tomorrow.

How many repetitions per movement is good 🙏🏼suffering from RAfor 24 years nothing seems to work. My hands and feet are worst.
There is no set amount. I would just do what you can and then week to week try to increase a little to see if it helps more. The aim is to help get moving and hopefully help to relieve some tension/pain. It is an adjunct to being on the appropriate medications specific to you.
Guys please respond.. Is the 'falling of fingers' feel permanent or reversible with RA?
If you mean stiffness and pain in the joints of your fingers, this is treatable if you are assessed and diagnosed readily and can then get onto the right treatment/medication.
My dad is suffering from RA since 2010..now he is on weayslon steroids from last july?any problem arise from this tablets?
This is a difficult question to answer. You are best to speak to his treating doctor and discuss management as it will be specific for your dad. Maybe this video will help - ua-cam.com/video/wx6pVj2Spng/v-deo.html
i was treated with ganoderma beart for a year after 18 years of illness
RA frm in age of 14 now I'm 26 i haven this prblm in my booths hands nd knees😢
I have so much pain i can't get iut of bed 😩 do painful I cry of pain
That look's difficult in my case of RA, but I may have to give it a shot. Thanks !
Go easy and only do what you can for the first time. The key is to do a little and gain confidence that you could do that amount or that intensity of exercise. From there, build on it slowly to improve tolerance. Hope it goes well.
Can we be friends RA friends
I started noticing that I have RA since I was around 5 yrs old. It was horrible because nobody believed me since they thought I was too young to have it.
Sorry to hear Melissa Anne. Unfortunately, children do suffer from inflammatory conditions too. Thanks for sharing your story.
@@bjchealthAU My child who has just turned 4 and is experiencing the same thing. She just started telling us where it hurts and how it feels. It's exactly the same thing as mine.

That's horrible 😨😨😱😱 at least i was 19 yrs old when first time i experienced this... now i am 24 yrs old. Don't know what to say...stay strong.
My sister’s was told by her pediatrician she had growing pains (considered “normal” when growing up) when she started complaining. I’ve told her to get checked. She’s 29, I got diagnosed at 41😢
Hi need a suggestion I have burning sensation in upper feet and hands. Sometimes pain in hand joints and knee can I do this exercise regularly? Will it reduce my burning sensation in hands and feet? Plz let me know
I think you should get this assessed and ask your treating clinician whether it is appropriate to do these exercises. It would not be appropriate for us to provide advice on this platform.
Do you have #vasculitis?🤔
For me its difficult to do, i can do only hand excerise
Hi Kesiya, please just do what you can within your limits and note whether the altered amounts you do still give you some benefit. If it does, continue and perhaps in time you can do a little more. Everyone starts at different stages. If you feel it is just too hard, I guarantee you there will be other things you can do. You would need to seek some advise from your treating professionals who can help you specifically with exercise. Don't give up, there's always something you can do :)
My sister was 24 yrs old when she had rheumotid arthritis . Now she is 26 and she is taking ayurvedic medicine . Her crp is 13.6 and esr 50 is it too high or ok for her .?? Please tell me🙏🙏
Please ask your sister to see a rheumatologist. She still has active inflammation.
Hello, can you please make a detailed good exercise video for RA patients? Last month my doctor suggested me to go to physiotherapist and that pysio only took maximum 1 min to teach me exercise for all my joint pains and I forgot what she told as soon as I came out from the room. Will be really greatful if you made detailed exercise video for all the joint pains 🙏
It's difficult to make an exercise video just for RA and address all joint pains. The simple stretches in this video are basic and general. It is best that for RA the exercises are specific and performed at the right intensity and load. I would give feedback to the physio or find another physio who is more attuned to what you are after. They should appreciate which joints are sore and what needs to be addressed to help you in the short and long term.
For how Long?
Whatever you can tolerate and for as long as you have the time for. Start with a minute or so for each exercise. If it makes you feel better then you can do a little more plus you can also do it throughout the day if it helps. Go easy to start with and build up as your confidence improves.
Wot if your in pain I myself can not do this and can not lean on my hands
Actually, we created this as the movements are very gentle and apart from placing hands on the wall, the other movements don't involve leaning on hands. Also, the aim is just to move without your limits. And as always, if you need more advice, then it is best to see your treating clinicians.
Ok
can a person have AS, RA AND OA together?
This is possible. However, it is atypical to have both AS and RA so rheumatologists would usually review and carefully consider this situation. However, OA can co-exist with other conditions.

My mum have swollen patches around her body, like on side of her knees and thighs etc. She has borderline uric level and need to lose 10 kg weight . But she can't workout because of pain. Any suggestions for weight loss?
Hi Nikita, thanks for your query. Sorry to hear about your mum. There is a few ways to answer this:
1. If she hasn't had appropriate medical reviews, then hopefully she can get the appropriate assessment to get a diagnosis and perhaps then have some medication to help with her pain. Pain reduction is important to help someone exercise
2. If she has had good assessment and has been struggling with pain for years then she should seek the help of practitioners who can work with her to slowly build an exercise routine. Slow progression and encouragement to try to give her confidence to exercise despite pain
3. Lastly and the most difficult but the most effective, is to work on her diet. Weight loss is best achieved by being aware of what you eat and trying to eat healthy foods. And of course dietitians are best at helping with this.
We know it isn't easy but I hope that confirms what you were already thinking.
