1. Homeostasis: Tissue gets damaged and blood vessel below gets ruptured, causing wound to get filled with blood, forming a blood clot and scab on top which then encloses 2. Inflammation: Blood vessel dilates and makes area swollen, white blood cells enter area to get rid of bacteria and dead cells to prepare for proliferation 3. Proliferation (healing and forming new connective(granulation tissue and epithelial tissue): Fibroblasts cells enter wounded area and release growth factors and collagen that cause blood vessels to start forming. (Angiogenesis). Connective tissue, composed of fibroblasts, blood vessels, and collagen, forms on the wound. Wound contracts to pull sides together(Contraction) Fibroblast growth factors produced by fibroblasts will control the migration, cell proliferation, and cell differentiation of fibroblast cells, and epithelial stem cells like epidermal cells and keratinocytes. These growth factors triggers the process of epithelialization in which new epithelial stem cells will migrate to sides of the wounded area, multiple itself through cell division and proliferation, and then differentiate into specialized cell types needed to replace old damaged or lost cells, and move from those opposite sides until they meet to fully cover and enclose the wounded area. These epithelial cells are what makes up the epithelial tissue formed during proliferation. (Epithelialization) Epithelial cells can also produce growth factors. Then the growth factors produced by both epithelial cells and fibroblasts will attract more fibroblast cells and cause them to divide and then produce collagen which further strengthens the epithelial cells and tissue in the skin 4. Remodeling: Strengthen scar tissue
Cut the tip of my left thumb really badly with a knife Absolutely scared of even cleaning my wound so my friend who is a nurse is helping me every day thankfully Watching because I got curious as to how wounds heal over time
Hello Dr. Matt. Great video! Quick clarification, during the proliferative phase, is it the fibrinoblasts that release growth factors that promote angiogenesis and re-epithelialization or is it the macrophages that do this?
To accelerate wound healing a no contact dressing works well. It is called Podophylus antimicrobial Insole and DermaDomus, both allow oxygen in the wound….
siir plz help me, the answer and mechanism. thank you for helping me, i appreciate your teaching me. A 58-year-old man with a history of deep venous thrombosis following right total knee replacement is recovering from multiple injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision. His injuries include fractures to both tibial plateaus. He is on subcutaneous unfractionated heparin for prevention of deep venous thrombosis. On his 6th hospital day his platelet count dropped from 250,000/μL to 110,000/μL. He is otherwise recovering well with no complications, and a lower extremity Doppler is performed, which is negative for deep venous thrombosis. Which of the following additional tests would be most helpful in determining the cause of his thrombocytopenia? A) PT and PTT B) Anti-platelet factor 4 antibody … c) Protein C activity D) Protein S activity E) Factor Xa level
I scraped my knee and right now there is a yellowish layer that i think is pus thats why im scared its getting infected. I keep it clean regularly as well. Is this layer normal?

Omg the healing process is amazing.
Reversing the process is so amazing.
Thank you sir. Pretty important topic for my tomorrow’s pathology paper.
I learned more here than I did in my one week on the integumentary system in my A&P class
Thank you sir. You made it very easy to understand whole process.
Thanks you did better than the video of my class
That is simple and nice! Thanks!
Wonderful.... Short n crisp
Good explanation 👍
we passing our exam with this one guys!!!
I had flesh eating bacteria. Is the healing process the same . Thanks for any info you can give me .
Human body is very interesting. We are so rare we don’t even know it. Treat your body good it works for you every day till you die.
Thank you for the explanation.
Amazing video. Thanks mate
Wow very good explanation 👍
thank you for this wonderful video!
Shortest video thanks for real
That is amazing! 🥰💜
i know I am pretty off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream new tv shows online?
@Tomas Sullivan Flixportal :)
@Leo Jaxxon Thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it!
@Tomas Sullivan you are welcome :D
what should to used for deep injury so that it can heal well

I thought macrophage and platelets secret PDGF that attract firboblast.
very informative, many thanks UK

What Do You Do When Your Opening Wound Is Tender
Thanks!
To the point 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wounds don’t need oxygen from the outside, the blood gives them that?
@@phoenixirwin8730 the oxygen from inside is partially blocked as the blood vessels are damaged
Thanks 🖤🖤🖤🖤
how long does remodelling take ?
4 to 6 months and can extend for one year or more
siir plz help me, the answer and mechanism. thank you for helping me, i appreciate your teaching me.

who is watching this vedio right now.... ❤
Not me. Im reading the comments.
Me i cut myself 😂
Is this considered as a soft tissue healing
Is there any need of stitches
Watching it with multiple stitches above my right eye 😂
Thanks for the refresher :-)
Ur welcome
If a wound is to be infected how long does it take? I cut my thumb if that helps?
So during inflammation will it make around the skin to swollen??? Is that normal
I'm built different, how my wound heal is that it first turns to stone, after a few days or hours it will be done healing

I had an injury 3 month ago and now the scar looks a little bit indented, will it continue filling? Pls reply me
You cant say ilove u to a teacher but iam brekaing my rule for u ...😂😂😂😊
can this be consider as ''Tissue Healing'' ? please reply :)))((((
Akkor miért nem záródik be a sebem?
Just missing the timeline on this video .. otherwise very helpful
can i fasting while wound healing?
Yes but you will minimize the healing speed
so im the only stupid who removed my skin again after 80% of healing
Omg the wound filled with a fire tornado
