That is so cool that all parents gave consent that you can show the kids! Which leads me to a question what do your kids think about you being a UA-camr? Or are they still a little to young to fully understand?
Love your new haircut! I’m currently doing my student teaching in a third grade classroom in Maryland and will be graduating in the spring. Love your videos!! 😊😊
No Teach November. Ha! So true. We have a teacher workday, then a half day for PD, Veteran's Day, an early release, and Thanksgiving break. It's going to be crazy! I'm switching to a new classroom this week due to some changes in my school so I'm taking it back to Day 1. My new class needs to get on the right track in order to have a successful year.
My daughters middle school allows the kids to dress up too. The elementary doesn’t. But they bring their costume to school and get dressed before the parade and wear for parade and their party. I’m not sure if the district is an IB one.
MacKenzie Ferguson I could be misremembering, but I am pretty sure she did explain this in one video a while back. I’m sorry I can’t remember which one.
I teach I.B. And it is different. You follow the I.B. PYP and your curriculum is forever changing. It is inquiry based as well. We do not have adopted materials like you have in traditional schools. Those are a few of the differences. Hope that helps :)
Question: I'm a first grade teacher in NC and only have a part time assistant, so I spend basically all day with the kids. I go to lunch with them, watch them at recess, etc. Just curious, who at your school supervises your kids while they're at lunch and recess?? Thanks! Love your videos!
HaPpY Birthday. That looked like an awesome day! I love the Escape Room activity. You were very brave to have students pull out the seeds. When counting seeds, did they insist on washing the seeds first? 😂 I have a few students who need to wash their hands whenever they use a glue stick! I can’t imagine what they would do with slimy gooey seeds.
Maybe this is a bit of an early question, but how do you celebrate the holidays in your classroom? Is it more Christmas based, or do you incorporate other holidays as well? I know this isn't something they teach you in college, and I'm always looking to your vlogs to teach me some new perspectives:) thank you, girl!!
Do you have any kids who don't celebrate Halloween? We had a few this year, so we don't make the whole day Halloween themed, so they don't feel excluded.
Sarah I didn’t have any this year, but I had one last year. You could say the same about every holiday in reality. Like I said, we embrace our own traditions, so if someone doesn’t celebrate they either are encouraged to stay home or go to another class during our celebrations
Do you have state testing in the 3rd grade? Im student teaching in a 3rd grade classroom and everything we have to do is focused on being test ready in the spring :(

Alyssa Adams they love it!!!
I was just thinking about that too- that is awesome!
I have been LIVING for these vlogs! It looks like your kids had tons of fun, too!

Your hair is adorable!
Such awesome ideas for team building throughout this video!! Love it! 💖
I love the Escape Room activity! And the kids seemed so engaged, that's awesome!!
I’ve never carved s pumpkin. Even as a kid. It was messy. As an adult I just sharpie’d it. Never carved
My old school did this thing where we switch classrooms and in each classroom there is an activity

So I'm just curious about the differences between an ib school and a regular public school. Love your channel!

I love how you make your worksheets! What font do you use and do you just make it off of Microsoft Word?
Such a great blog! I'm curious what parameters you would use next year re the mummy game...
Very nice class setup

@@EarlyEDventures I'm really surprised students are encouraged to stay home, it's opposite of my schools messaging.
I love your personality, I feel like we'd be friends in real life ♡
