    Thank you so much for all these lessons you are so generous with. I like the idea of you saying to go slow. I always go slower to enjoy the process. Lately I had been going faster, thinking I should be getting faster. I have slowed back down and it is peaceful and I have more control.

    Great lesson! Would it be good advice to let cylinder dry a bit for stability before shaping with the clay body being porcelain?

      @hsinchuen  2 роки тому +3

      Yes, it will be fine or you can speed up the drying process by heating the wall.

    What angle is the metal rib to the wall when you are shaping? Are you touching the very edge to the wall or are you placing the wide flat part to the wall For some reason rib work is still hard for me. 🙏

      Wide flat part to the wall.

    Can you explain why you used such a thick bat on top of the wheel vs a standard bat? Thank you for your videos!

    • @hsinchuen
      @hsinchuen  2 роки тому +3

      The thick bat was from the studio (Higher Fire) I teach. I guess they will last longer than the thinner bats.

    Is that at Higher Fire? Looks just like it :)
