Something I learned in 2015 is it is okay to get help. I struggle with anxiety and going to therapist really improved my life. I've become more confident and I'm willing to let others know that I get help and it is okay if they do too. In 2016 I need to find my self confidence and be proud of my appearance. I'm graduating high school and starting college this year so I feel this is important. I hope everyone has a fantastic year filled with love❤️
I learned to not trust so easily & to be as positive as you can even if there is nothing to feel positive about. For this year I'll just go with it, not expect so much & just live my life.
In 2015 I learned that we can do anything we put our most positive thoughts toward. Quitting smoking was one of them. I'm 5 months smoke free and feeling amazing! It all happened in steps, but I pushed through all the negative thoughts and told myself that I'm strong enough to do it. Doing this also made my anxiety disorder and depression feel like a much smaller issue to fight and overcome. This year I'm going to look at things in a different light, I'm so optimistic :)
I love it when you post favorites! I am seriously obsessed with First Aid Beauty as well! My skin is super sensitive so it's basically the best thing for my skin. I really want to work on living in the moment this year, because last year I was super worried about the future, and what I need to get done the next day, instead of focusing on the present! I hope you have a wonderful year! :)
I learned that I am allowed to and love treating myself to small things, that I am not defined by my ranking at university out of 300 students or an eating disorder, that I really treasure some people in my life, that I can get attached very quickly to a guy at the smallest sign and that that is ok because the beauty of building relationships is remembering the butterflies in the stomach at a smile or a text. I went through a lot of hospitalizations and scary new symptoms and even though I thought I wasn't going to get through it all, I did and I'm proud of myself. This year I really want to work on bettering my art skills and learning techniques for watercoloring. I also really want to be better at saving my money and creating a budget
I want to focus on putting myself first and others second this year. For so long I've done the opposite and got nothing in return. Now is the time for my happiness and my wants. Wishing you the best 2016! ❤️
i discovered a lot about about my anxiety after a really traumatic experience. im doing so well now and am the most self aware ive been in my life. being so mindful of myself and others can also be hard when it comes to relationships and finding the right people to associate yourself with so this year ive been realizing who i want to keep in my life and who i want to get rid of. it's really tough but i know it will only make me an even happier person! :)
Last year I learned that you have to be careful who you let into your life because some people just simply aren't good for you. I realized that the people that matter most to me now are the people that I never thought I would be friends with. I learned that it is perfectly fine to have a few really close, great friends than have tons of fake ones. I am really looking forward to having a more positive outlook on life this year and spend it with the people that I care about and care about me in return :)
