This 1937 Cord 812 Westchester is a factory supercharged example that resided in California from 1956 to 2006. It was acquired in 1967 by Walter Serviss, who was a friend of Cord 810/812 designer Gordon Buehrig and restored the car for the first time a few years later. Elliot and Jill Andrews bought the car from Serviss in 1997 and later moved it to Michigan, where an 11-year restoration was completed.
Janousek Classic Restorations performed bodywork and carried out a repaint in Cadet Gray. Mark Larder installed a blue cloth interior, which was fabricated by Rick Hulett. Henry Portz provided the wiring loom, while J.K. Howell and Josh Malks helped source parts and provided technical assistance. Hollywood Machine Shop rebuilt the replacement 288ci Lycoming V8, which is equipped with a factory supercharger and powers the front wheels through a vacuum-operated four-speed preselector transaxle. The car earned numerous awards after the restoration was completed, including consecutive first places at the 2009 and 2010 Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club Annual Reunion shows in Auburn, Indiana.
