It is understandable why you are taking this new path in life as I have made many in my 74 years on this earth. When we look at life, it is brief. We need to focus on that which is most important. To me, this means to face our mortality. We don't know when we will die, are we prepared to die? Is there an afterlife, a heaven, and can I go there, eventually? The Bible says Jesus made a Way, that we are sinful, and heaven requires perfection. So, no one is worthy. We are all sinful, all except Jesus. Jesus was sinless, and He took the penalty we deserve, and died on a cross taking my place. He was buried, and rose on the third day. So, I can turn to God and receive His free gift when I put my trust in Jesus. I thank Him often for forgiveness and the gifts He gives, even music. God bless!
