By the time I became an adult I had given up on learning the language of video games. Fast forward to pandemic times, I spent all day every day playing BotW. It was the first game I ever completed. Now combine Matthew Mercer and a new zelda game and im right there with Jay, I cant help but tear up. I am so freaking hyped, I think I'm going to burst into flames.
Voyage of the Demeter was a chapter in the original Bram Stokers Dracula book. Its awesome that they are making a movie out of just that section and expanding it. It was one of the best and spookiest parts,

I do believe that could work. However making it a series is just perfect especially for a character like Penguin. Penguin being a mob boss who practically runs Gotham's underworld just sounds much better as a show than a movie
💯Breath of the Wild isn't the strongest narrative game - but the sense of child-like and wonder in the world is *unparalleled* . It is a sublime gameplay loop. It ended up being my favorite game of all time.

The Demeter is the ship that Dracula takes from Transylvania to London. It's the scariest part of the original novel to me, as it's told from the perspective of the ship's log, detailing the crew disappearing night after night. Spoiler for a book that's over 100 years old: in the end, the captain is the last one remaining, and he ties himself to the steering wheel while wearing a crucifix.
It's such a good book. I remember reading it in high school English Lit and I still havent forgotten it 30 yrs later. We also read Frankenstein which was incredible.
Tears of the Kingdom looks incredible. The visuals, the mechanics, the music. It just looks epic. The Last Voyage of the Demeter looks great, and it’s a cool concept, because no one knows really about what happened on the Demeter, but we know it wasn’t good.
I think I discovered you after Visions so that's why I didn't watch it, but I also watched them at a point where I couldn't really watch a lot and didn't have time to watch reactions and stuff anyway, and my dad was in the hospital at the time so had to watch alone. But I'll totally watch your reactions to season 2 if you do!

BOTW was my first zelda experience and I 100% with everything Jay said. This is my favorite game of all time. Id argue that you dont really need to be a zelda fan to pick this game up and enjoy it. The story is solid on its own and while there are references and indirect links to other games, it works wonderfully well as a standalone game. I HIGHLY recommend Adam
McShane's character has only been head of the NY Continental for about 35 years if JW4 is considered in the current time. This would predate him since it is in the 70s.
This is how it's going to be now. Each episode it's going to be the boys vying for control of the catchphrase. Jay snuck in there last time and this time Adam didn't give him any room or any indication when it was coming so he won this round. The whole palooza may have just been an excuse to retake control of the catchphrase. Diabolical.

The continental was announced in 2019 when john wick 3 came out (I think at the premiere) it was supposedly originally a STARS 10-12 episode series
