Please everyone, now is the time to double check your storm prep supplies. Stay aware and have a plan. ❤
I just went and fueled up my car just in case. About to start gathering up essentials
I have spent the last 5 days looking at so many metrologist and this woman so far has been THE ONLY ONE to explain in detail...the how and why. Thank you very much... maybe THE WEATHER CHANNEL SHOULD RECRUIT YOU!
Bathtub temperature water in the gulf...betting it will intensify to a 2 at least
3 at least, maybe even a 4 or 5 if she lands at Galveston or points east. Stay safe y'all!
What about New Orleans?
@@todidiaz5997you're not out of the woods
Keep in mind the stronger it gets, then the more north it will go so it’s a wait and see right now. I still think if it intensifies quicker than they’re predicting then it will get even closer to Houston than is forecasted right now
@@beverlyweber4122 I'm betting on nothing less than a strong 3 pushing a 4. And a 5 is definitely still on the table with how warm those waters are
This storm will have over 48 hours in the warm waters of the gulf, it has the right components to regain strength.
@TexasSi saying anything less than a 3 is just trying not to spread panic, which I believe this thing is gonna absolutely blow up once it reach the gulf, but they don't want to start telling the public this just yet
Remember Harvey?
@kingrueben1211 that's what I was thinking, they're probably thinking it'll hit a 3 but don't want to panic everyone this early.
@JAD73567 it doesn't look like it'll be a Harvey, but who knows. If it turns out to just spin on Houston without any movement north that'll be bad.
@TexasSi this thing is definitely gonna stay moving but I think we are definitely in for a wild ride especially once this monster hits the open gulf waters and transforms into what I think it will be, a strong 3 to just pushing a 5. But her what do I know, I'm just some random guy who watches alot of videos about everything
Its taking the path of least resistance.... straight into Houston. Im guessing a 3 or a 4....alot of warm water to cover fueling it
Pls nooooo
Hello Harvey's little kid ;-) Welcome to Houston
NO!!!!
Houston does NOT extend any welcomes.
Hope it doesn't stall like that
Wouldn't be surprised if it blows up to a 3 or 4 after a day of pushing thru the warm gulf waters...🤨🤔🤫🫣😬
That bad one we had in Florida went from 1 to 5 off shore and cut a right turn...totally unpredicted.
@maryr130 yea nowadays its become the norm for these things to go from nothing to disaster declaration in less than 24-48 hours
I saw someone mentioned a one off model that had it going into Houston as a 4. He did say that he didn't trust it since it was an outlier. Something to keep in mind
@@pjackson8322yeah, the icon model says that, but its getting more likely
It's almost a guarantee to happen , they spin them up quickly now just before coming onshore for maximum effect !
If it landfalls as cat1 or cat2 in TX, it’s basically just plenty of rain and some wind. Weather channels are so into theatrics nowadays.
Be afraid!!
@@leagueofotters2774lol
Facts are not theatrics
Complaining is a virus on social media.
Weather forecasting claims every year is going to be a”Record breaking “ year for hurricanes. Remember, “If it bleeds it Leads”. Such o a crock of shit!
Rain only.....Allison wreaked savage losses and Dirty Side rain from Hurricane (Ike?) Left us down and out. My electricity was off for almost a month. It is a disturbing fact that weather forecasts have become a stage for drama...but EVERYTHING has. Pitiful.
No question about it, its moving almost straight north now and the 5 PM update by the NHC says they are now seeing more east landfall and there may be more eastward adjustments
Beryl is coming Texas to give us some rain cause its hot right now
Thank God!
More like torrential rain.
Doesn’t the rain make it worse the following week since now it’s hot and humid.
@@losojosdehotspanish2162 It's been hot and humid here for a month,. we've had two weeks straight over 100 degrees. We'll take the cloud cover and rain.
Welp there goes the grocery stores 😂here in Houston
It’s just gonna rain all week with 10mph winds in Houston
@user-tm9wx4ny4r if this thing picks up abunch of energy from the warm gulf, and start turning more east and a more direct hit to Houston. It'll be more than just some rain.
Already got 10 x36 packages of 🧻
I went today and it was not packed at all i don't think most of houston is taking this seriously.
Yeah because it’s gonna go through corpus even if it comes up to category 2-3
I would be getting tf out of southern Texas if I were there.
Even if the winds and storm surge aren’t that bad, you know their shitty power grid is going to go down for a few days.
A nice weekend trip to Vegas sounds lovely right now.
You heading out?
Our power grid has been just fine you worry about you. This is nothing to Texans. We aren't little bitches.
Heading out to California tomorrow
Harvey 2?
Can't wait we need the rain. Looking forward to lower temperatures. Thanks Beryl!
I said the same thing we need rain hot as it is outside
We do need the rain!!
When it comes to tropical storms and hurricanes, be very careful what you wish for. Yeah, we can use an inch or two of rain. BUT I'll never forget that when Harvey came for a visit it kinda stalled and the rain would have floated a battleship. The airport at Nederland in the Golden Triangle where I grew up registered SIXTY INCHES -- just two inches shy of six feet. NOBODY needs that much rain.
@@thewaywardwind548 eh, when you pray for rain, you gotta deal with the mud too.
Houston floods...
Beautiful.
It’s going to keep pulling north then finally head to strong area of cool front moving into Texas it’s always that way , Houston weather people need to pay better attention to big weather people and even look at military weather see what they are seeing because it’s where big weather people are really getting updates a couple times daily
At the very last Moment they will upgrade this Hurricane and say " We never saw this intensifcation coming " , sorry not true , they know it will intensify quickly before landfall ! Hopefully the Lake Livingston Dam is not negatively impacted and further weakening becomes evident !
Hurricane Billy Ray coming to Texas I renamed it because beryl is a stupid name
I’m gonna start using this lmao 😂
Bonjour ❤ hello
It might last months. Planned miracle
It's ok. We have a Republican governor. I'm sure he'll just take a Sharpie to a map and have it go somewhere else.
What is going on whith progreso Yucatan mexico please?
Beryl entered around Tulum and made land fall around 7am. It should be leaving the Yucatan towards this evening.
It is almost 8 PM Friday July 5,2024. Cameron County,Texas will definitely be affected. Only 6 sandbags were allowed in Cameron County, Texas. If those aren't enough, evacuate North to Bexar County. Do not evacuate to Willacy County - it's in the flood warning area.. Bexar County is your safest right now.
😂Beryl, Queen Beryl is coming 😂😂
Wow. It's almost like what happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. You predict it is going to go through Mexico and it never does. It curves along the coast line and hits Texas or Louisiana. Almost like the professionals are bad at their guessing game
It's data da

Lmaoooo sci-simping?? First time I ever heard that one lol
Bad for Houston
Not going to Matagorda Bay.
This hurricane will curve north and slam Corpus Christi as a Cat 2.
Are we looking at floods like we saw back in April and May ????
I wouldn't bet on this hurricane to stay to weak.. The gulf is warm & it will pick up strength.. if it moves slow, I think it'll go back to a 3..
It shifted east!
😢
We need the rain and heat relief
Howdy from Houston been watching since it hit the Caribbean islands
So it’s not going to get Houston ?
It’s headed for the Houston area. Run.
Its heading to Columbus Ohio.. LMFAO
Latest satellite shows Houston
Houston will get it in one way or another... tons of rain/flooding, at best.
Is it really coming or do y’all want it to 💀
CAT 1, CAT 2... not worried bout it. CAT 3+, ok.... cause for concern.
i say cat 5 at landfall
Please come to Texas it's too hot and we need a low pressure system to push up the high pressure heating cone. It is toooo hot🔥 🥵
You stupid, get the f outta texas then
It will come to Texas all right
Only pansies think it's too hot.
Lots of weather experts in the comment section 😂😂
2- 2.5 Cats . Water is boiling point. Was making spaghetti
Yea the hurricane is no where near Houston it's going to hit the south of Texas so why dont you talk weather News and stay on topic
watch the latest satellite
No matter what, Houston will get flooding.
Saeth th Lord
Plenty of weathermen in the comments section….
Qualified too, I bet.
More like seasoned people who've been through many.
These weather channels saying it'll stay at just a tropical storm/Cat 1 is pretty unbelievable with how warm the gulf is and how long it'll be over the gulf. That's all they're trying to say.
Nope bunch of liberal Karen's n Dems doubting that Trump gonna win this by a landslide..may Trump bless us all
“Beryl Strong”

It could end up all the way to NYC and Canada. Don't ever doubt the works of God

Look out Cancún! Here comes Ted Cruz.
Wow

And when it gets to Bandera county, it'll split in two and go East and West of us. Rain hates us.
