Looks like you have a new tent. How's the new pack performance? BTW, nice to have fun out there. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I haven’t used this Lanshan 2 Pro a ton but it was the right tent for the trip objectives. Kakwa is nice for ski touring but not designed for it - I do like how it holds the weight a little closer to my spine and has an outer mesh pocket for easy transitions during hot laps.
Every time I see footage of how much snow there is up at elevation I'm completely amazed yet again

Wow the "view" of Peter Grubb hut! I noticed you've got a bivy that kind of just looks like a tyvek bag - what bivy is that?
You’re right, it’s a Tyvek bivy that you can find on Amazon or Aliexpress sold by 3F UL Gear and Flames Creed
@@HikingNerd Awesome, thanks! I'll have to check it out. Nice way to keep the essentials dry in a floorless shelter
First! Camped at Chickadee Ridge that weekend, but in snow trenches. Was your trip with a Kakwa 40 or did you get a 55?
Nice! It was a beautiful weekend huh? This was a Kakwa 40
@@HikingNerd Definitely nice but windy one night. I woke up too hot in my 20F quilt at around 7am though.
looks like an amazing time! where is your helmet from?
It was! I’m using the Grivel Duetto
