  • I've put together a video from our time moving into our new house over the span of about a week. It was a very chaotic time, especially as both of our daughters had DofE practice expeditions in the same week. That alone comes with quite a lot to plan and organise.
Apologies for all the walking around and moving the camera about that I was doing. I hope it didn't make you dizzy!
Thanks for watching, as always. See you again in the next video.

So happy for you that you now can own your own house and a landlord can never do that to you again. Wishing you many happy years in your new home ❤

Ah, that's so nice of you. Thank you very much 😊 It's not nice, always wondering if you're going to get a section 21 through the door. Hopefully, rules are changing to improve security for renters and protect them against no fault evictions. We are so happy and lucky to have our own house 🏠

Your old landlord did you a favour! You'll never get that rent money back, you can have a water meter installed if there isn't one already, and every penny you spend will be for the benefit of the Mercer family! ❤ XXX

Thank you 😊 Yes, exactly. It is a good, positive way to look at a difficult situation. It's such a good feeling to be able to call it ours.

Just found your channel and I've enjoyed watching this video with more to catch up with. We moved 18 month ago, so I can empathise with all the upheaval but you'll get things the way you want them soon and hopefully you'll be able to relax a bit. 🙂

Hi, and thank you for watching. I thought it would be fun to look back on in a few years and see what's changed and remember how it used to be. It certainly is a very stressful time, isn't it? Hopefully, this year, we'll manage to get a few things done to make it more our home. Hope you are enjoying your house 🏠 😊

Don’t the open drinks need to go in fridge?

No, not those ones. They're squash/cordial, so they are fine in the cupboard 😊

Is the only radiator in the boiler closet for that room?

Yes, it is. There isn't one at all in the other bedroom, and that little one isn't working, so it's been quite cold upstairs the past couple of months. Getting out of the shower is the worst part haha.

Least you are settled. Too bad you could not replace carpet before moving in. I hate moving furniture. We did floors a few years after moving and it was a lot to find a place to put things. @@mercerfamily4444
