My birthday.🎉
Born December 20th 1982
But I love the 1960s
Me too born 1981 admire the 60s wish I always felt like that ever since I was a young, like I have an old soul lol born in the wrong era
Seeing this is where I realize I really need to take a break from posting and spend a LOT of quality time here on your channel. Wow! A performance clip of The Velvelettes! And it shows Dick Clark really did appreciate all the Motown artists as he showcased a few of the lesser-known artists on "Where The Action Is." Thank you for sharing these amazing and unbelievable clips.
Hi, your most welcome, I actually enjoy reading what you write in your comments...not just my channel but others...you have a great way with words...Thank you. ps if I get 1 more strike by the 27th July then youtube will terminate my channel so a very big Thank you for your kind support over the years.
@@ILMJXXX I lvove this Channel. The Velvelettes song "He Was Really Saying Something" was later covered by the UK Girlband Banarama who this year celebrate 40 Years together and they were the first and only Girlband from the UK to do American Bandstand. Another one of their Songs "Needle In A Haystack" was covered by an Australian Group called The Easybeats.
To ILMJXXX.....great work on some great videos. In days gone by, there was a radio station that you would have loved....
WLAC-AM.............."WAY DOWN SOUTH IN DIXIE" from Nashville / Gallatin, Tennessee...that played some of the R&B music
that you didn't hear on a lot of other stations. WLAC could be heard at night over a lot of the USA back then.
Thanks for posting these videos!
I remember my sisters dancing like that and always the chewing gum! 😁 Thanks !

The Velvelettes!
OMG...lol there is a big difference between the 2 groups! Hope your well Rachel x
The Velvelettes, not Vandellas
I kinda see why it's rare
What Phil Spector could have done with this. Wow!
Phil Spector could not have done anything… Motown takes 2nd place to no one
Did the young lady on the far right appear in any other performances and pictures?
No
That girl favors a young Betty Kelly?
