I play Call of Duty for the campaign so I wasn't disappointed with Infinite Warfare at all. In my honest opinion, Infinite Warfare has the best futuristic campaign in CoD.
Remember to pick up every gun in the game at least once. You can switch back once you have the scan done. This is to place it in your armory for future use and customize later on. You will need for the final missions since it's crazy, and you will love it. Also, there are some missions where you have to play a certain way, stealthy or otherwise, so be sure to listen to your comrades. They will save your life and trouble wandering around and getting lost. Don't be fast and loose on this game. Try to play and move along with your crew as they will help you out a lot at times. Also, there are unique weapons in specific missions with cool firing systems, effects, and special abilities. So look around the map, check your HUD and any markers that appear. There are also upgrade stations in certain places to give you like perks you might get in multiplayer, extra grenades of certain types, or better damage and all. Really, it's like the exo upgrades from advanced warfare, but you will have to find it in this one. Keep your eyes peeled. If you have time and space to do so during a mission, look around and see what you can find.
Politicians: "Should gamers be held responsible for the crimes they committed in video games?" Everybody who played 'Modern Warfare 2': *sweats nervously*
Nobody ever seems to talk about this and I think it should be said: Reyes is one of the best main characters in a cod campaign. Mature, funny, relatable, and can get shit done
i agree with you so much hey i have a question did you ever play the #yolo difficulty cause it so freaking hard die once you got to play the entire gamr again xD
This my fourth time telling you this, but Infinite Warfare has an additional difficulty mode called Specialist. Despite being above Veteran, it isn't technically any harder. The damage values are based on normal, but the health regen is replaced with a medical and oxygen system. There are two additional resources to manage, new HUD to keep track of the additional systems, and four different types of locational damage you can take. It's unlocked when you complete the campaign the first time. It's a little late now, but this is the best way to play to the game. It's so much more unique than the vast majority of other shooters

So hyped for this! Campaign absolutely blew me away. I was not expecting to enjoy IW at all and only got it for MWR, but IW had me so hooked that I barely even touched MWR. Campaign managed to blow my mind every mission. A few tips for IW: 1) Make sure to complete side missions first! They unlock perks, weapons, and gear for you to use. 2) There are ballistic and energy weapons. Ballistic weapons are best for infantry while energy weapons are best for robots. Energy weapons can ricochet off of hard objects as well so avoid shooting walls horizontal with you head on. Customizing your kits before each mission is key to giving you your best shot. 3) Play on Hardened of course. Gives you less assist and more control when it comes to flying the Jackals. On Recruit and maybe Regular, aiming with the Jackal causes an automatic lock on, and it'll chase the enemy ships down for you, and all you have to do is aim and shoot. On Hardened, it removes that lock on assist giving you full control in dogfights. Edit: I guess it's for Veteran only as you still had a lot of lock on assist, but it's still far less than what the two lower difficulties have. The Jackal basically flies itself on those. 4) Look for secrets! Lots of weapons, perks, and gear are hidden throughout each level. Perks will automatically be equipped for the rest of the campaign and future playthroughs. Weapons and gear you find will also be available when you play through it again. Adds a lot of replayability hunting down all the secrets. 5) Play it again on Specialist difficulty one day. It completely changes how the game is played. Have to manage health, armor, and injuries. Taking damage in limbs can limit certain elements such as getting shot in the arm will increase recoil. Getting shot in the leg will slow your movement speed. If your weapon gets shot, you drop it and have to pick it back up. If your helmet breaks, you can be one shot to the head. Don't have to play it immediately after beating it, but it's definitely worth another playthrough of it! Maybe once you run out of stories to play in CoD, Battlefield, MoH, and Tf2 then you can give Specialist difficulty a try. You unlock Specialist after beating the campaign on any difficulty. Then beating Specialist unlocks #YOLO mode where you have to beat the campaign in only one life on Specialist difficulty. Dying at any point restarts you from the very beginning of the campaign. Edit: To answer a few questions, IW takes place in its own universe. There are a few hints early on that it was connected to the MW universe and Ghosts, but the devs shot those down saying they were only easter eggs. The Ret's hull classification is SWC-141 which was named in honor of TF-141 from the MW series. Also on one of the multiplayer maps which is a remake of Terminal from MW2 set on the moon, there's a model of the O.D.I.N station from Ghosts. People assumed that this put IW, Ghosts, and the MW series all in one timeline, but the devs said they were all just easter eggs. They could have been planning on connecting everything, but after IW's horrible reveal reception, they probably scrapped those plans. People were angry because IW was the third straight installment of futuristic CoDs with advanced movement. AW was the first with the exo suites, then BO3 introduced its own boosting and wallrunning. Everyone was wanting a modern CoD again or even just a Ghosts, and IW came out with Infinite Warfare which had BO3's movement combined with the most futuristic setting of them all which is of course space. The game was doomed from the beginning from that initial reveal. People were also angry that MWR was locked behind IW's preorders so people felt that Activision knew IW was not gonna sell well so they forced them to preorder it to get MWR. That just pissed people off more.
Y'know, I really like this game, it was awesome, but fans were absolutely just DONE with futuristic stuff in CoD when this game got announced and then the video became the most disliked on UA-cam at the time. So I wish they had just started a new franchise instead of slapping the CoD logo on it. I think this game would have been a lot less controversial if they had marketed it as a completely new franchise not connected to CoD at all. That way they could keep making futuristic games while still making Boots on the ground CoD without pissing people off.

This campaign was amazing. Especially the ending, you watch in horror as you lose your closest Allies that have become close enough to be family and end up making the ultimate sacrifice to finish the mission.
So basically its not an exoskeleton its just a like a jetpack or more of a boostpack on your back. And when you pick up guns from the battlefield or feom the armory of the SDF you unlock them for your Loadout so keep an eye out for special weapons etc. Also you will see that you have to choose different weapons for different side or main mission like energy type weapons for robots and ballistic guns for humans. Luke's overall reaction matched my prediction 100%. I just knew the exact points at which his jaw would drop in fascinated awe. The freefall insertion, the grand vista of the spaceship parade, the hacker grenades, the plasma weapons....
For context on why people disliked Infinite Warfare, two futuristic games had already came out previously, Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3. Infinite has a pretty good campaign, just came out at the wrong time. Its also in the same universe as OG Modern Warfare.

Thank you so much for playing this game and giving it an honest chance to bring you joy. Love this game and I feel it gets way to much hate. Also make sure to do all the side missions as you get new gear and equipment that makes certain sections of the game more fun or easier
This made me reinstall Infinite warfare and I've spent most of the day playing it. Loving it, and I'm sure Luke will be having a few of those 'wow' moments along the way
Infinite Warfare's reveal trailer had the worst Like/Dislike ratio in the franchise's history. Everyone wanted to hate it. But then we experienced the Campaign and it ended up being an amazing ride. Your face during the escape velocity burn to Orbit was beautiful.
While the multiplayer was meh, Infinite Warfare is one of my favorite CoD campaigns. They took a LOT of inspiration from Titanfall, and it shows, but the story and the way it handled the pre-mission planning and Ethan development was genuinely impressively. Felt like they wanted to do some serious world-building, and I'd be down for a sequel in the universe.
SUPER COOL campaign. Space ships flying overhead during battle, Space combat and optional missions that can be played in any order. Leaving earth’s atmosphere is one of my favorite in game sequences of all time. Just wish it had the graphical quality that IW had.
More of a realism type fps guy but I stay because I love watching and supporting Luke. My opinion is that if I wanted sci-fi I’d play halo or killzone (which you should play), never liked cod going all futuristic personally. I’ll scream with joy when you start playing Medal of Honor, fuckin absolute banger.
Make sure to do the side missions! They’re quite fun, and give you extra bonuses for your aircraft. Make sure to explore as well, as you can find some pretty cool weapons, like a magnetic sniper and a laser pistol.
Love how Luke tries to ‘save’ a civilian from a seeker grenade by literally PULVERISING his chest with an assault rife but is still surprised when it doesn’t work🤣
Watch with your weapons: especially as the energy weapons (denoted with a lightning bolt in your HUD) work differently to your bullet weapons. Also loads and loads of references to The Expanse and Halo in this one
As much as people shit on this game the single player was absolutely brilliant in my opinion! Brilliant characters, solid story and every mission provided variety along with freedom of the usuap linear on the rails.
Honestly? When I played this game I didn't have a high opinion of it. The campaign wasn't bad, the multi-player was a whole other monster. But seeing this guy be so giddy just in the first part makes me want to go play the campaign over again.
I'm a huge sci fi fan and just played this in the past few weeks for the first time. I couldn't believe how good it was!! I was stoked to see you react - the look on your face when you first go to space was similar to mine lol. I was annoyed I'd heard so many negative things about this that put me off of playing when it really just seems to be that a lot of CoD fans hate the space setting.
I play Call of Duty for the campaign so I wasn't disappointed with Infinite Warfare at all.
In my honest opinion, Infinite Warfare has the best futuristic campaign in CoD.
I agree with you Rookie.
I agree
same i have no idea why people hated this game the multiplayer was decent and the campaign was good.
smat man I will not agree with the Multiplayer being decent, BO3 and AW had much better Multiplayer
But IW 100% had the best Campaign
It was definitely my favorite of Call of Duty involving futuristic setting alongside Black Ops 2
I feel like this is the closest cod will ever be to having a pilot as the main protagonist
Isn't Reyes a pilot to begin with? He just decides to take on missions on foot as well, because they don't have any other people to do it.
Johannes He he’s a member of scar team which I believe serves under the UNSA Navy
Regan Olley I’d love to see that
Regan Olley UNSA seems to have better warships but overall UNSC is a more formidable foe, especially post human covenant war
@@duck_entertainment yes but the navy has pilots. His aircraft is basically a futuristic fighter jet

Thank you so much for playing this game and giving it an honest chance to bring you joy. Love this game and I feel it gets way to much hate. Also make sure to do all the side missions as you get new gear and equipment that makes certain sections of the game more fun or easier
Ayee I didnt know u played tf2!! Good job on the videos, love seeing ur perspective!
This made me reinstall Infinite warfare and I've spent most of the day playing it. Loving it, and I'm sure Luke will be having a few of those 'wow' moments along the way
You should play brothers in arms, very(old) good game that deserves a sequel or a remaster at least
Really liked the campaign for Infinite Warfare. Wish more people talked about it.
Infinite Warfare's reveal trailer had the worst Like/Dislike ratio in the franchise's history. Everyone wanted to hate it. But then we experienced the Campaign and it ended up being an amazing ride. Your face during the escape velocity burn to Orbit was beautiful.
Been waiting a while for this one!! You’re gonna love it!
“Seekers out.”
OH’s reaction: *pure gold*
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS IS EXACTLY!! I don’t mean to sound like Kat Williams THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR
He should enjoy this, also OH, make sure to do the side missions, it will give you more about the story and it should be way more fun
21:17 When you realise that Ethan the robot has more personality than some real life humans lol
No one:
Literally no one:
Not even a soul:
Luke: ThEsE gRaPhIcS aRe AmAzInG
Wow people really take this too seriously. It’s just a joke.
True, and also when he says "I'm In LoVe WiTh ThIs GaMe"
shut it
Is it not normal to say the graphics is amazing?
I mean isn't it? You used that meme wrong (just saying)
Well for a 2016 game the graphics were pretty good
Make sure to do the side missions!
I hope you read this if u see it but the timeline is in the year 2126 thank you for playing this I love this campaign!!!
As much as people shit on this game the single player was absolutely brilliant in my opinion! Brilliant characters, solid story and every mission provided variety along with freedom of the usuap linear on the rails.
Just so you know in the end credits of the game they have voice messages from all the characters that you can play so don't skip it
When it come to Sgt. Omar, remember. Capetian doesn't always bring the men safely home.
Finally infinite warfare This is the best cod campaign game in my opinion :D It's so underrated
Am i the only one that thinks Ethan is a legendary character, up there with Alex Mason, Captain Price, Soap, Frank Woods, and Reznov?
I WILL BE REWATCHING THIS PLAYTHROUGH MULTIPLE TiMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
50:35 really love the scene, probably the best scene in cod iw
I love how in this game you play a special forces pilot/infantryman/ship captain and no one.blinks an eye.
Honestly? When I played this game I didn't have a high opinion of it. The campaign wasn't bad, the multi-player was a whole other monster. But seeing this guy be so giddy just in the first part makes me want to go play the campaign over again.
Seeing the type of call of duty like this doesnt feel like call of duty at all but hey this cod is fun
This guy has grown so much from modern warfare 2019 respect
I'm a huge sci fi fan and just played this in the past few weeks for the first time. I couldn't believe how good it was!! I was stoked to see you react - the look on your face when you first go to space was similar to mine lol.
I was annoyed I'd heard so many negative things about this that put me off of playing when it really just seems to be that a lot of CoD fans hate the space setting.
19:59 it's a cool concept that one day we will have carriers that go towards the stars 😭😭😭😭
