I had a big yard sale crash on lower vipers den at the 10:03 time in this video… carried too much speed in, didn’t square off the drops enough to get down to the right, caught the side of one ledge and got catapulted into the cedar. You made it look easy dude.
I been going to spider mountain for the past year , My question is what bike should purchase? I need a large frame bike , But how much travel would be good for spider mountain and other bike parks and trails around Texas and possibly going to angle fire New Mexico, Any suggestions on a bike shop in the DFW area? Thanks Josh I get it it’s a big question lol, But I watch this channel all the time
If the majority of your riding is on trails and you are self shuttling (peddling) up the transitions and to the top of the hills then I would recommend a good trail or enduro bike. Some of the longer travel bikes still offer great peddling efficiency like my Pivot Switchblade. It has 160mm front and 142mm rear travel and I have ridden it on some pretty steep and chunky terrain. It really depends on your riding style as well. Test ride as many bikes as you can and if possible on some trails. Not in the parking lot at a bike shop. Look for demo days. Good luck! Thanks for checking out my video! I currently ride a Pivot Switchblade in mullet mode. It handles great especially on the downhill trails. I have not ridden in Arizona but I would love to make it out there. My wife and I were talking about going to Sedona. I am off to Whistler in August and Angel Fire in September. Busy couple of months. I have been riding off and on for 40 years lol.
