You got monogram universal monster illuminator models for only $15 a box? I've never seen those less than $40 to $50. Usually the box itself sells for around $10 to $15

The dig bin stuff was fun - that Lock is cool! And I'm glad you showed the footage of you flipping through the catalogues - like you experienced, that was a wonderful dose of nostalgia. Seeing you pass up that Tick lot did hurt, as not only was it a great deal, but I also just love that show and those toys in general! That looked like a great show and it made for a great video!

That big Lion with the articulated mouth was from the old 12" GIJoe line - their Action Team group, it was a Safari set - my older brothers used to have a bunch of those big Joes - they thought the little 3-3/4" Joes I had were blasphemy compared to their giant "doll" version ;-)

Just completed all the issues of classic Rom spaceknight, still have a few other appearances of his to find.
I know I could just order them but I prefer to find them in the wild.
I'll never replace my childhood collection but I'm slowing picking some of my favorites and getting full runs.
Invaders bronze age is not easy to find in the wild.
Lost 17 long boxes from my childhood to a fire a few years ago.

The catalogs are always rad, but for me the historical aspect of seeing preproduction/prototype shots of items is just immeasurably cool and rare to see. The dig bins are what I call the last chance option for scoring some weapons/accessories that may have been overlooked or dropped. Fantastic video man! :)

I love the catalogs!! I wish they did more things like that still. The Amazon catalog showed up, but it doesn't have the same punch to it. Those wish books were the best. I remember when the KB toys one and the Sears one would show up. I'd just sit there with a piece of paper, writing down page numbers and toy numbers for my xmas wish list. So many MASK figures marked down. I think one time I marked down a pool table lol. Technically that was our Google in the 80s lol. Thanks for sharing another great video

I always wanted the GI Joe camping set as a kid because of the APC. That Voltron baggie has great stuff in it. I have that MOTU case and most of those figures in the case right now. I know what to sort of price them at ha ha. Those board games were great. Phantom Flyer is really cool.

26:21 Oh I did that in 2014 at a show. A guy had a M.A.S.K Rhino, Switchblade and Matt Tracker's car loose with all their packages but none of the figures for $60. I was like "I dOn'T nEeD tHoSe if tHeRes nO figUres 🤪🤪" never once thinking that I could A] Buy the figures later off of eBay or B] Use them as trade fodder elsewhere. I think its easy to miss out on obvious opportunities like that stack of Tick figures at shows. There is a lot of anxiety between managing your funds so they will last the duration of the hunt, and the potential of finding something better at the next table. So no reason to be hard on yourself, in the moment you likely made the best survival decision.

I had a complete Tick collection. All the figures and playsets. I traded a bunch of old starwars figures for em. I even told the creator (Ben Edlund) about it when i met him at comic con. They all yellowed really bad though. Just having them in a drawer for so many years messed them up. I kept a few, like Man Eating Cow and the Minis. I wish i didnt throw em out now, lol. It was really bad, like Sewer Urchin was light purple and mine turned dark brown, litterally looked like he was burnt
