- Today on JD Cars we will be building my new 2018 Honda Grom Clone, from Belmonte Bikes. The assembly of this bike took me under 2 hours, and minimal tools are required. Using the included tool set, this job can be completed by anyone, at home. I'm very excited to begin upgrading and modifying this bike. Your front wheel axle should come from the other side FYI. Nut on the wheel sensor side so it naturally tightens with the efforts induced by the wheel rotation if your bearings were to start gripping the axle.

How does that work, though? if the nut were on the left of the wheel, the forward rotation of the wheel would loosen it, no? Doesn't it make more sense to have it on the right side, like he did?
@@SeaToSummit1969 efforts are induced on the axle, not the nut.

I just built this bike the other day with my son.. I put gas and oil in it and checked the spark plug.. it will not start, tho it sounds like it wants to.. what am I doing wrong?? Please help
Make sure the kill switch is in the run position!

What year is your Honda grom clone ? I know it says 2018 Honda grom clone but is that the year that your clone is identical too!?!?or that’s the actual year of your clone.. cuz mine is a 2021Honda grom clone,but looks just like your clone 🤔

I wish you had shown the process of going through each nut to make sure it was all tight and adding loctite. Did you literally go through every single bolt/screw?
Not every single bolt/screw, but all of the important ones.
What's the name the bike is registered under?? Better to check the dmv 1st

Hey JD quick question. What oil did you end up using for your motorcycle. I bought this same motorcycle from Belmonte and didn’t end up getting the service manual. I contacted them and they told me 10w40 synthetic. But I heard synthetic in the long run will make your gears slip. Would love you insight to this. Thanks. Look forward to hearing from you.
If I recall correctly, I used 10w30. She's just a little 125cc single cylinder so you don't need to be too picky about your oil.
Have you had any battery charging issues with the bike? I’ve only had mine for about 3 weeks and every time I go on a long ride and shut the bike off just for a little bit, the bike won’t start.
It's wasn't assembled right take it to a mechanic to fix the fuses

I am lookin into gettin either the grom clone off of venom's website within the next few weeks, would you recommend buying the clone rather than getting an actual grom? I'm nervous to purchase the clone and it turns out to be shit

Can you please help me out. I'm stuck trying to register my Vader 125. The title that came with the bike is a mco title. Dmv wont let me register because no signature on the back and stating that they sold it to me. Very stress atm. How did you register your motorcycle? Please help
Please contact the seller and ask them to send you a new title which is signed on the back. They should be willing to help you.
