As a single adult and early retiree, I've just worked to make money and to get an education. Friends come and go. It will never be the same as when we were kids. Growing up, innocence is lost, and we are all corrupted. One just can not go backward. I like your suggestions. At least we can find hobbies and interests that others like doing as well and maybe meet like-minded people.
