IRCC Measures for Gaza: Press Conference Outside of Immigration Minister Marc Miller's Office

Samar Alkhdour has been hosting a sit-in outside of Immigration minister Marc Miller's office in Montreal to demand for Canada to approve visas for Gazans.
Temporary Residents Pathway Program (TRV), which was released in early January and made available to Canadians or permanent residents with family in Gaza, has not brought one Gazan into Canada.
Alkhdour's daughter Jana was killed in Israel in January and Canada approved Jana's entry two weeks after her death.
Alkhdour says she's not only doing this for her daughter and other family members seeking to come to Canada, but all Palestinians who are being failed under this program.
Palestinian Youth Movement held a conference outside of Minister Miller's office on April 2, alongside Alkhdour and Immigration Lawyer Nazar Saaty to demand Canada to act urgently.
Minister Miller's office did not respond to a request for comment.
