I see this man in a totally different light after this interview. He is right we are our worst enemy we watch each other raise only to wait for the fall to come. We support each other until one of us get to a level that another can't reach then it's all hate. He spoke a lot of Truth in this video I got to say. One thing people can't take away from him is he is truly a legend
This is the best interview Floyd Mayweather Jr has ever done, and it’s because of the people that interviewed him. Thanks for putting on a great show. I’m subscribed now after this.
This man's defense is impenetrable. To be his age and have no vices, habits, or hang-ups other than gambling, is amazing. His body is in pristine condition after boxing literally all of his life.
This is not called the pivot for no reason. Just the line up of guests and the insight of questions. Thank you for giving Floyd his well deserved flowers. So humble watching him mature over the years making power moves and giving back. Not a lot of people know he gave George Floyd his proper funeral. Floyd in his own lane doing him while people say what they want to say about him.
I was a Pacquiao fan but this interview swayed me and truly impressed me. I appreciate his honesty and in depth. He gained a new fan. Great respect for him and the Pivot for another great interview.

Granted this was a really brief encounter and yes he did tip me and my buddy each $100 for helping service his plane. But he was really nice, and was like "thank you very much guys!" and handed us each that $100. Told my buddy that Floyd just paid him back from the fight he paid for lol
Floyd learned early on what position he was in to build connections and to build his business life. Something Tyson said about being heavyweight champion and the kind of things that can come with it, was that he's had dinner with kings. And that wasn't hyperbole for the sake of making a point. As flashy as Floyd admitted he likes to be, he's really been super quiet and low key about all the other things he's down with his business life. And maintaining that contrast is worthy of a ton of props to him. And that leads to people to be quick to jump on him being broke when they see him posting a photo of jewelry. Because all they think is that his money comes from what he gets from his fights. The thought of him being involved in real estate to the point of building skyscrapers instead of flipping houses, and having associates in Japan and across the world, doesn't even cross their minds. Reaching the top of the fight game allows you build some powerful connections. And Floyd has done very well with that.
I always loved Floyd, but this made me look at him in a different light. Extremely insightful, and passionate especially about his children. Great businessman & fighter, amazing father. “The goal is to become your own boss, go to sleep when you want to, wake up when you want to. When you have to get up that means somebody controls you.” That hit me hard, gotta put my head down and grind.
Have always respected Floyd for what he's done. But was never really a fan until now. It's amazing what happens when your able to just listen to a conversation. That man is legit. He answered everything didn't avoid any questions. He's a proud man and is not afraid to tell you how great his life is but does it in a way that you can't be mad at him. Thanks for your interview Floyd and fellas keep up the good work.
I learned a lot about Floyd in this episode. He thinks in such a positive, responsible, disciplined and proactive way. Even when Channing was trying to find out how many women he has, Floyd was trying to tell them he’s disciplined with it and he takes care of his responsibilities first. Dope.
"The chin doesn't lift weights" - Mr. Mayweather Much respect to this amazing podcast loved this interview fella's, and much respect to the greatest boxer ever Floyd Mayweather!! RESPECT!!
Wow that was a gem of an interview. So many brilliant nuggets. Thanks to Fred, Chan and Ryan for hosting this! Gained a whole level of respect for Floyd 💪🏾
This podcast is EVERYTHING! You guys make my margaritas taste better. This episode was informative and concise. Mayweather seemed relaxed and at home. That means you guys presented with a brotherhood. I love the camaraderie and the feeling of individualism from each host member. Crowder is that piece that keeps me on the edge of my seat. Ryan is solidly moderating and adding that needed spice. Fred seems so at home here. He’s quietly maneuvering his points. You guys each are that perfect ingredient. Thanks for the dedication. Keep it coming!
This was an amazing interview! Floyd has gained my respect (even though he made it clear he don’t need it) 😂😂😂 I appreciate that no matter how big the guest Channing is always himself!
The Pivot Podcast is changing the game! The best interview of Money May I’ve ever see & hopefully our people see him in another light.. Champ dropped a lot of gems
I am so loving these conversations. The people that come on know it’s a safe space, there’s no hidden agenda on the part of the person asking the questions, the guests know their words aren’t going to be twisted. Not just this show, but all the shows by former athletes. We are getting to see them comfortable and fully being themselves. You guys know when to shut up and allow the guest to speak. If the guest “pivots”, y’all pivot with them. Good good stuff guys, love it!!!!!!! 💯 ❤️
I truly appreciated the questions. Each person brings a different dynamic to the interview always love it. I also admired how Mr. Fred asked questions that were truly thought provoking, his questions allowed us to see Mr. Mayweather as a human. These questions provide a pathway for many people's narratives or perconcieved bias to pivot (see what I did there) . We were able to see the human side of him. It allowed him to express how he felt about many things. When he spoke about people not considering his human side but only seeing his professional identity looking pass him to get what they want a pic or a video. I like that he said that. The most humble part was that Mr. Fred give him the fans perspective. The provide revelation that brought Mr. Mayweather to a humbling apology. That was so great to see becasue he had not seen it from that perspective sheesh that was awesome. I wholeheartedly respect how he felt though. Thank you all I really am proud to see these conversation its so great to see the guests you all bring on in a different light it's appreciated. You are not just helping our black communities but global communities.Thank you
Excellent interview. The Pivot does an great job letting Mayweather speak and open up. He is a boxing and business savant that he doesn't get enough credit for. One of the top business minds of our generation, and it's easy to see why. Great respect and love this Podcast.
Floyd said that he was once a knockout artist. Then he said once his body broke down, then he adjusted and found a way to beat fighters. I think the critics that say that all Floyd did was run are very ignorant. They'll praise an older quarterback for not taking big hits, but they criticized this man for not taking big hits.
@@gabdex83 You mad bro? Apparently you watched this just as I did to be making a comment on it. Stoopid...... Why are you here on this video making a comment and adding to more viewership of Floyd Mayweather. Get yourselves together bro....
Fighting isn’t football. Props to him for playing it safe that’s awesome, but culture of fighting and fighters thrive on excitement and a “macho” bravado. When someone comes in and don’t fit that traditional mold it’s boring. And then to act like your tough it leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths.
@@hereticlife2546 I mean you have to be pretty damn Macho & tough to stand in a ring and fight another man in front of millions. People like you hate him because he doesn’t charge in or stand toe toe swinging away like many great brawlers but an underrated aspect of his abilities was that he’d stand directly in front of his opponents and use his reflexes, footwork, and shoulder to block & evade punches while throwing hard counter shots. That’s not running by any means. In the latter half of his career he’s done that in damn near every fight and yet because he isn’t brawling with another fighter and potentially getting knocked out he’s boring. Lmao dude is a master boxer in the sport of boxing. You get everything with him, all his wars you guys so desperately crave for were in his early years before his hands broke down, knockouts through half his fights.
Floyd Mayweather opening up and acknowledging that mentally he feels like he’s been slipping a little bit is wild. Props to the Pivot for allowing him to become so open

One of the first person to present the saying that he wants love from his own people. Good conversation guys...floyd is really a person who worked from nothing and he seems exceptionally humble. Very nice convo.....the love from our people and floyd is definitely a person I would love to speak to my children because I actually watched a man be undefeated.....
Floyd has always been consistent. I became an instant fan when he beat angel manfreddy back in like 1998 there was never a time I thought he would lose really. Only time I was worried he may lose is when he fought Diego Corrales but after he beat him the way he did I knew he was just too talented and smart. Hard work and dedication pays off. R.i.p. chico

Started off with some newfound respect for Floyd. He spoke with some wisdom. Talking about concepts like fatherhood, generational wealth, and giving back to charity. This is a side of him we've never seen.
We've seen it but it's the media and ppl trying to shut that down they don't want him look nice or be a nice loving Human that he is because here comes all the negativity trying to cover it up cause remember "he is the bad guy and it sells" and in reality the media, Racism and government is the bad guys!!

The Pivot is amazing..felt like i was sitting in the room with you guys. Everyone is good at making the guest feel comfortable too an no one acts like they own the show single-handedly.
I respect what Floyd had to say about Trust and how we can only trust in ourselves. But sometimes as humans we can also deceive and let ourselves down the same way someone else we put trust in can betray us. To anyone reading this just know that only you as an individual has the power to be happy and successful! Never give anyone the power over you to dictate one’s happiness or level of success! Blessings and respect to all.
Mannnnn, gotta say that the Pivot is killing the game. Their interviews are great as they allow the guest to tell their own story d only interjecting to advance the conversation. As for TBE aka 💰 May, people can hate but dude has a brilliant business mind and he has obviously grown up. I have watched him since the days of Pretty Boy Floyd and he has always maintained his mind, body and spirit - no drinking, no drugs, no smoking etc. He is on point when he says he gets hate from both sides - they hate b/c they’re envious. He is human and by no means perfect but he takes care of those in his corner. Great interview!!!
This is the human Floyd. This is inspiration from the heart of a man with a strange set of cards in his life. Made some good choices and some bad ones but he is still so earthly human. Thank you for this 🙏
Whether you're a fan of Mayweather or not, yea he talks in circles sometime, may take much of what he says w/a grain of salt, he's a sensitive guy despite him not wanting to appear as such, etc blahze skip.. I think dude has a heart of *Gold* and has blessed MANY ppl along the way in spite of his obstacles. The drive he has was fueled by wanting to care for those around him & I believe him when he says that. His work ethic is unparralled to anyone outside of maybe Kevin Hart. I respect ppl with vision. Man keep it up "Pivot" Panel. The energy u guys are building is sensational. *Real Talk* 💯

I see this man in a totally different light after this interview.
He is right we are our worst enemy we watch each other raise only to wait for the fall to come.
We support each other until one of us get to a level that another can't reach then it's all hate.
He spoke a lot of Truth in this video I got to say.

Agreed. I just dont see how people can hate on the goat. I know it's jealousy and stuff.
This is the best interview Floyd Mayweather Jr has ever done, and it’s because of the people that interviewed him. Thanks for putting on a great show. I’m subscribed now after this.
I haven’t watched this one yet but his best interview in my opinion was his Hollywood Unlocked interview. He said a lot of real stuff in those ones 💯
Has ever done... His responses actually make sense
Man yall say this all the time. Yall said the same thing when he was on Drinks Champs.
Fr HBO (mostly Larry Merchant ) were always so rude to him
It's the chemistry between Fred, Ryan, and Chan that makes this show

This is not called the pivot for no reason. Just the line up of guests and the insight of questions. Thank you for giving Floyd his well deserved flowers. So humble watching him mature over the years making power moves and giving back. Not a lot of people know he gave George Floyd his proper funeral. Floyd in his own lane doing him while people say what they want to say about him.
It's absolutely wonderful seeing the personal growth from Floyd! His words hit very different than the media's narrative!

The genius of being his own promoter in a time when that was unheard of. Revolutionary in sports.
I always loved Floyd, but this made me look at him in a different light. Extremely insightful, and passionate especially about his children. Great businessman & fighter, amazing father.
“The goal is to become your own boss, go to sleep when you want to, wake up when you want to. When you have to get up that means somebody controls you.”
That hit me hard, gotta put my head down and grind.

Dope.

The pivot is 🔥. You all make it such a safe place to speak freely. This is so refreshing to watch. Keep up the good work!!
You guys never disappoint with the guests you guys go all in all the time 💯
I truly appreciated the questions.
Yes KO’d many women on the way to all his millions of dollars. What a great example!! GTFOH
He also broke his hand in one of his fights so he eased back and fought smarter. 💪🏿
Floyd Mayweather opening up and acknowledging that mentally he feels like he’s been slipping a little bit is wild. Props to the Pivot for allowing him to become so open
Thats very humnle of him

Floyd has always been consistent. I became an instant fan when he beat angel manfreddy back in like 1998 there was never a time I thought he would lose really. Only time I was worried he may lose is when he fought Diego Corrales but after he beat him the way he did I knew he was just too talented and smart. Hard work and dedication pays off. R.i.p. chico
He beat the coins outta Chico rih!
You must be talking about Jose Luis Castillo. Bc he beat the brakes off of Corrales.
@@TheRDW710 no if were really there you’d know Diego Corrales was by far the favorite. 33-0 and like 29 knockouts
