In college, I read a study that showed the overwhelming majority of abuse victims at trial avoid looking at their abuser, while abusers stare to intimidate their victims. Just one of the things that helped show who she is: an abuser.

That was a pretty good observation, and by her trying to argue that he couldn't look at her because of shame for how he treated her was almost an attempt, or even the act, of her bullying Mr. Depp. in front of the jury. At least that is the way I see it.

There are so many smoking guns in this case but that one is incredibly significant. I don't doubt for one second amber doesn't understand why an abuse victim would be too scared to humiliate their abuser. She's only ever been an abuser, she doesn't understand how a victim behaves or how a victim feels.

As an abuse victim myself, it blows my mind that someone claiming to be a victim wouldn't understand how terrifying embarrassing an abuser would be.
I never dared speak ill of my abusers or make them look bad. It can be one of the worst things a victim does while in the throes of abuse.

I wanted to add something. The audio that was played in the beginning where you hear amber begging Johnny to touch her and cuddle her after she filed the restraining order sealed the deal for me. I can tell you from my perspective as a victim of domestic violence that after you finally have the opportunity to get out of it and away from him…Uhh The last thing on the planet would be me begging him to touch me. Actually makes me have a flight or fight response if I even think about him touching me again. That was powerful to hear for me personally so I thought I’d speak up. Your analysis was dead on as usual! Thank you 😊

As a nurse I find it suspicious that AH would state that she was hit “multiple” times in the face and assaulted with a glass bottle that cause significant harm and not seek medical attention. Being hit alone could cause fractures of the nose, occipital bones around the eye, dislocation of the jaw etc. also cause tearing of vaginal tissue or leave bits of glass so it seems very unlikely that happened.

TALE NOTICE OF ATTORNEY JESSICA MEYERS: You must give credit where it's due and that's to Jessica Meyers a partner in the law firm, the background and research attorney with the textured hair wearing glasses on team Depp. She coordinated the entire strategy for the team. Jessica questioned Johnny in a way that told a story revealing his values, his mistakes, his pain, the psychological reasons he ended up marrying someone that reminds him of his mother, and how much he lost through this relationship. Jessica was Brilliant. She humanized him gently and strategically removing the movie star mask so the jury and the rest of the world got to see the real Johnny Depp. Jessica was brilliant.

It seems like everybody is weighing in on cross-examination, but this is the only opinion I actually have been waiting to hear. Camille did a fantastic job at showing how deceptive and manipulative Amber can be and I hoped Bruce would break down some of the more technical elements. Also as I understand it, Mr. Chew is the head of Depp's legal team, so isn't it a big sign of trust that he left Ms. Vasques to perform the cross-examination of possibly the most important witness in the case? Camille went viral because of her court performance, so it seems like a big deal.

Camille may very well have a well proved laser focus before, and probably does have Mr. Chew's trust. Also, as this attorney mentions, it's far less likely that as diminutive female, that Camille will be seen by the jury as a bully. A man of any stature, could be seen as a bully. Perception is big here.

Another point about her "filing for divorce discreetly": if she didn't want to be seen there, like someone who knows that area in LA has pointed out before, she could've used a backdoor or another more discreet exit from the court, where the paps wouldn't be able to see her and photograph her. That could've been arranged with the court, but it wasn't because of course she wanted to be seen & photographed.

The end of the cross exam proved that both Heard and her lawyer were still acting. An experienced lawyer shouldn't get so frazzled over such basic valid objections, so it seemed like she was working off a script (possibly to make things easier for her actress client) to drive a narrative. When that story kept getting interrupted, she was shaken (she's not a trained actress like Heard) to the point the judge literally had to remind her to move on to the next question, much like when an actress has to be reminded what the next line of the script is. Then there's Heard seeming to have a brain freeze when leaving the stand, again, having to literally be reminded by the judge that this is where she goes back to her seat. It felt like her "scene" didn't go according to the script she had memorized, and froze up when she was suddenly needed to "improvise" the rest of the scene. She had this look of "wait, this is wrong, this wasn't supposed to be how it goes", perhaps even having an expectation of a favorable response to her performance, a figurative standing ovation. Paired with the glares she was giving her own lawyer, her storming out of the room looked like she was mad at her "director" and was storming off set.

My best friend was in a horribly abusive relationship with a man who was an alcoholic and drug addict and he would beat her horribly, yet she would never call the police or turn him in. I was at her home on one occasion and was helping her wallpaper her bathroom when he came home in a rage. I had never witnessed him actually hitting her, just the end result. So let me explain a few things to those who have never actually witnessed a man in anger pummeling a woman. He drug her out of the bathroom by her hair and had her down on the ground so fast beating her, I was shocked. He had a friend there with him and he was wrestling with him pulling him off her and trying to keep him back so I could grab her and drag her into the bathroom, he had knocked her out so she was dead weight. I had almost gotten her fully into the bathroom with me, had to get her legs in, but when I stood up and turned around he was there and he hit me three times. Second hit split my forehead right between my eyes, third hit put me on the floor completely out crumpled on top of her. I had never been hit by a man in my life (this was the one and ONLY time in my life) I came to blood covering my face, locked in the bathroom with her and she was still out of it, I had no idea wtf was going on but I did know I had my phone and I called the police and an ambulance terrified of where he was or how we had even gotten all the way into the bathroom & locked in. She still didn't press charges, but I sure the hell did. And the State picked up the rest and he went to jail. Point is when a man hits you, a woman, in anger rings or no rings you are walking away with serious damage to your face. My friend had broken bones in her face, I got lucky and just had stitches and it did some nerve damage to my eye that ended up healing on it's own for the most part. Depp is no angel for sure, but what she is saying happened to her and the pictures she showes is an absolute joke to me. I know what real abuse, physical abuse looks like. And that is not the same.

    1) He wasn't the only alcoholic and drug abuser. She drank 2 bottles of wine a day, took drugs as well by her own admission.
    2) Caught lying about using the makeup that didn't exist back then to "cover her bruises" frequently, which was refuted by the makeup company in court.
    3) Past domestic violence arrest against her ex, literally charged and arrested. Plus admitted to domestic violence against Johnny. Plus suspicion of domestic violence against her own sister (her sister was discussing it with her friends by the poolside in a video clip), and assaulted her ex-best friend in public. In contrast Johnny has no history of being violent towards women, every single one of his ex gfs and spouses all speak highly of him, and has said he's never laid hands on them.
    4) Audio recording of her admitting to cutting his finger in Australia (not allowed in this trial due to technicalities), proving again that her testimony was a lie. (one of the voices on the tape is now deceased and can't testify)
    5) Her psychologist lied about Amber having no domestic violence history and was called out by Johnny's attorney.
    6) Has NO witnesses or evidence (all conveniently random strangers that she doesn't know or deceased people like the bodyguard)
    7) Her longtime assistant testified under oath that she did not once see or hear any physical abuse from Depp or ever saw any injuries on Heard in all the years. She also testified under oath that Heard spit ON her face when she asked for a raise
    8) She visits Dr Kipper's office the day after an alleged incident where she was severely beaten, the doctor's medical report states her in perfect health, with no injuries of any kind on her, also state her skin was in perfect condition. Her explanation was "this was a partial report and I didn't have time to get into the details with the doctor about the injuries". (Day 16 of trial cross examination)
    9) Allegedly got her nose broken, hit multiple times, her scalp and hair ripped off, penetrated by a bottle, dragged over broken glass and got her arms and legs "pretty cut up", then somehow felt safe enough to take sleeping pills with her "attacker" in the same house, woke up the next day and made him coffee, then went to James Corden's show miraculously healed. No marks, no scars, no pictures, no medical report . Hair stylist saw no signs of abuse, the hair stylist would've been inches away from her face looking at all the details while working on her appearance, and she saw 0 injuries. Multiple witnesses (including 3 cops) saw no signs of abuse.
    10) Allegedly got raped and assaulted multiple times on her honeymoon, then wrote Johnny a love letter saying "it was the most amazing and beautiful honeymoon any girl could've ever dreamed of". (evidence presented in Day 18 of trial)
    11) Claimed she wanted to leave Johnny, but in all the audio clips she was the one begging him to stay. Claimed she always tried to de-escalate, but in audio clips she was always the aggressor preventing him from leaving and taunting him .
    12) In all her "crying", there's never a single tear coming out of her eyes, even when reciting the most "traumatic experience".
    13) Allegedly feared for her life but bought him a large knife.
    14) Testified under oath that she was beaten by Johnny with huge chunky rings on all his fingers, said she was "hit so many times in the face over and over again she lost count". The photos taken the next day shows her face completely spotless without any injuries, when cross examined, she answers "there do not appear to be any injuries on my face in that photo".
    15) Caught lying under oath again saying she "didn't receive money" from Johnny when she got $7 million, and lying about "never assaulted" Johnny when she admits to it on tape.
    16) Proven once again as a liar when she made public statement of donating 7 million dollars for children's hospital but in reality donated exactly 0 dollars before she was called out, also caught lying under oath about donating the money. Her sworn statement was "I donated the entire settlement of $7 million to charity", when cross examined, she states "I did not lie, I pledged the $7 million, "pledged" and "donated" are synonymous, they mean the same thing." (Day 16 of trial cross examination)
    17) Blackmailing Depp with her attorney, trying to make a deal for 3 of the adjoining penthouses where they both lived, 50k monthly expenses, 500k in attorney fees and the SUV Depp let her drive in exchange for not filing the protection order.
    18) Her publishing of the op-ed "domestic violence" piece is timed perfectly with the release of Aquaman film, it didn't get published when they divorced, or before, or right after, but instead it was published right when Aquaman was being released and when the "Me Too" movement was grabbing the most headlines.
    19) Amber Heard's team desperately tried to stop the trial from being publicly broadcasted while Depp's team made sure it was made public
    20) Long time friend and co worker of Amber Heard telling about her hardcore cocaine and drug habit dating all the way back to 2008 when they were close associates, (youtube show called "Steven and Jason" and in the newest episode titled "We need to talk about AH").
    21) Amber testified about having injuries such as “gross colored puss coming out of her temple” and “suffering a broken nose”, but when cross examined she changes the lines to “gross colored puss UNDER HER SCALP” and “FELT like a broken nose”, because she knew the evidence is about to show ZERO injuries visible on her. (How does she see gross colored puss under her scalp? With an X-ray machine??)
    22) Allegedly got beaten up for FIVE YEARS and not a SINGLE injury shown on her face, no doctor visits, no dentists, no surgeons, no photos, despite countless appearances in public events and countless photos taken given her celebrity status, many of those public appearances were the night after "the beating", keep in mind the beating were all allegedly done by Depp with "huge chunky" rings on all his fingers, yet after five years of beating, she didn't need to visit the doctors once or show on sign of injury on her face, sounds like her facial bone density and durability of her skin can match that of armor platings.
    23) Alleges Johnny slashed the soles of her feet, but was seen the next day walking completely normal, again no doctor visits or treatments of any kind even though she has a personal doctor on retainer.
    24) Constantly changing details of her stories and allegations, she's already given 4 different versions of the poop incident, she has said "1: told security guard that she pooped and it was a practical joke gone wrong. 2: Johnny did it to frame her. 3: said it never happened and Johnny was gaslighting her. 4: said the tiny puppies did it."
    25) Her lying under oath is not even worth mentioning anymore, there is too many to list, just to list a few in this trial alone. Lying about not receiving any money from Johnny, when in fact she received $7 million. Lying about having donated the money, when in fact she has donated $0 so far. Lying about never assaulted Johnny, when in fact she was recorded admitting to it multiple times. Lying about never assaulted anyone before, when in fact she's assaulted at least 4 that we have evidence of. Lying about her injuries, when a medical record showed absolutely no injuries.
    26) She put someone through hell for years, publicly shamed and destroyed his career and life, just so she can be seen as a noble victim and use the attention and sympathy to advance her career and profile. She claims she's never wanted to be seen as a victim and wanted to move on, but appears in countless TV shows and articles talking about her "abuse" and "donation" non stop, literally appeared on every show she could to talk about her being a victim and being noble on the donation that never happened.
    27) Amber's own friend, Tillet Wright, a long time close friend with Amber Heard, testified under oath that he's never seen or heard Amber being abused by Johnny Depp. (Day 20 of trial)

I knew a BPD/narcissist once - she was always the victim, not ever responsible for anything that turned bad, lied and manipulated almost everything, and other people were always the ones that needed to calm down; she would gaslight and breadcrumb, especially when she had gotten what she wanted, and always always always flipped the script and never ever recalled her tantrums and emotional outbursts, just had no memory of them - absolutely insane.

And I feel AH tries to manipulate but she’s not great, most ppl actually realise her nature quickly and leave, those who stay are ppl of interest. Her only real success of manipulation is Johnny

“Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus” is a Latin term which means "false in one thing, false in everything." It in fact is a legal principle in common law that a witness who testifies falsely about one matter is not at all credible to testify about any other matter. This lawyer is great.

In cross of Johnny, Rottenborn asked if he knew he couldnt sue for anything before the Op-ed. The first thing amber's lawyer asked her was if she knew why she was here. amber said " I am here because my ex-husband is suing me over an Op-ed "I" wrote. So she takes possession of the article in her first sentence. In her cross she says the Op-ed is about men of power including Johnny Depp. So that was admission front and center IMO. Which is what she is being sued for, right?

It was a genius tactic to choose Camille for this. Amber's used to being alpha female, and manipulating men, with faux vulnerability and sexuality. That jazz ain't gonna work on Camille, who puts the A in alpha, and has obviously never chosen to rely on her sexuality, but has developed her mind to a level that is far beyond Amber's arrested development. I do believe that Amber is intelligent, but leaving school early, probably wasn't the best choice she made, and boy is Camille gonna bring that home to her.
