Yes I agree that George Lynch was one of my favorite guitar players in the 80s and 90s. Cool guitar and I love your guitar collection. Never seen anything like it!
Thanks Johnny! 🙏 The Katana sounds incredible for old school metal like this. I use the Brown or Lead channel with a boost quite a bit for living room practice and it really captures the vibe. It’s quite spot on with a dash of delay or chorus 👌🎸
Thanks! I really like it too! These are still waaaaaaay cheaper than the Charvel Satchel models, especially used. Really great for the cash if you can find them used 🎸🙏👌
Everything is out of control with pricing these days. That guitar is selling new for $1000 in my market. Can’t say I’ll be rushing out to buy another one anytime soon 🤣🤦♂️.
Looks to be a pro polyurethane paint job. I would imagine that a professional paint gun was used. It's definitely a poly gloss clear coat after the fact. As for the stripes, I'm not entirely sure how they do that. They seem to wrap around the curves of the guitar, so likely taped off and removed after the yellow and white coats are applied. I am definitely not an expert on guitar painting though, but there is no way I'd be able to replicate something of this quality.
I had two of these.... one made in China one made in Indonesia. The one made in Indonesia was complete SHIT. Any gl200mt prior to 2010 is way better than the ones you get today
Lots of information ,excellent review. Thanks 👍
Thank you! 🙏🎸🍻

Thanks so much Michael!🙏🎸🍻
That tone is really nice. Looks like it would be a lot of fun to play.
Thanks - it really is a riot! 🙏🎸
Excellent Review Dex! This would be a great guitar if I ever could learn metal! I wonder what my Boss Katana would sound like with this one.

@@dexdeimos425 I am looking at the LTD M1 87 Reissue...I might go with that, not sure yet.
are these guitars just spray painted and then have a gloss finish, or are they Acrylic paint jobs?

@@dexdeimos425 Wow, thank you so much for this information, really appreciate your time.
Killer guitar man! I actually like the single volume and no tone for a hair metal guitar like this.
Thanks a bunch! I tend to agree with you, sometimes less is more - just don’t tell Yngwie that! 🤣🙏🎸🙌
