  • [08.07.2020] Uploaded one day after the Deadbeat Protocol video, I think I already sensed a potential engagement deposit with how lively the Solaris debate got in the comments. And thus I set out to exploit exactly that. Didn't go anywhere, though. I made like one community lore stream on the Solaris, possibly to be reuploaded if I locate it, and then just abandoned the whole idea in its entirety: turns out that when the lore conforms to horde shooter game mechanics, the worldbuilding is seldom reasonable, logical or consistent. If someone was to do this as a concept, it'd promptly devolve into basically fanfiction, as the video title alleged (albeit jokingly). Rahetelius actually tried that - to some success as well, so it's not like it couldn't be done, just figured not by me.

Funny how i saw the first video about "TIME TRAVEL IS BAD PLOT"
Then immediately hit with the next video of SsethTzeentach with his EDF 6 review that included the game's plot with time travel near the end that ACTUALLY WAS UNDERSTANDABLE
i still agree i hate when time travel is used as a plot point, but i will make a exception for EDF6
