Hi, its safe, just use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun which is safer against damaging anything. You can gradually heat it so its hot to the touch, just move it around all areas to evenly heat it up. Then you can use a suction cup tool to help you lift up and pull up a side or corner to get your guitar pick in, then you can apply more heat as you work your way around prying it off. You can always use a metal tool like a razor blade etc to get in between the glass and frame without using a suction cup tool, but you would scratch up the frame.

Last Friday i charged it in the train and it went out and stayed so , how can i recover my pictures or make it work again, should i buy one for parts or is chip reballing out of discussion?
Hello bro. I have a Poco x3 pro. There is a small dot on the camera glass. But it does not interfere with the shooting. Do you think I need to change the camera glass?🙏
It would be up to you. To replace the camera glass, you would just have to heat up the glass portion of the camera glass cover and pry that off without having to take off the entire back.
I usually try not to use different thermal paste since every type of thermal paste has a conductivity rating. Some are more conductive vs others based of the type of material they are composed of. Using something more conductive can cause your phone to short if the thermal paste gets onto other chips or between resistors making a connection between two chips and so forth.
I'm using Poco X3 Pro 😊 but I want to ask you one question: why is this phone is slightly heavy 215g... Is there any reason... Or inside the Copper Liquid cooling plate makes it weight..???
what could be the problem of my phone i replace the sub board already, but the mics are still not working and keeps on shutting down when i will use my mic. i can verify my speakers charging ports are working
Hey bro, this is a very late comment so im not sure if you will see this but if u do then please reply to this question, I have heard certain poco x3 pros do not have thermal paste on top of the SoC and which is also a good reason for death issue of poco x3 pro, alongside the 732g frame which is being used by the sd860. Are all these info true❓ And like yesterday my phone had a white screen with a blue tint in the middle, is this a sign that it will die soon and i should get it reballed + thermal pasted❓
Hi. Not sure exactly what is causing those issues if it was a bad soldering job on the board or if its the overheating etc. But yeah the thermal paste wasn't the best which was applied on these phones, so you can always replace it with better thermal paste. Just don't use anything that is highly conductive since if it leaks, it will short the phone. Also the issue you said could be both a screen issue or board issue so not sure.
hi! thank you for your great video the POCO X3 PRO has some heating issues but the NFC model does not have this problem! i can clearly see why! the PRO model does not have any thermal paste on the chipset!!! isn't that right?
You're welcome. Yes you are correct, it seems it has thermal paste on the outside but none over the chipset itself. Seems kind of odd why they would not include it. Usually some sort of thermal paste or a thermal pad is needed to properly draw heat away from the chipset to the other heat transfer materials.

Can this phone add 5G chip? Like solder it or something. Cuz I hear this one should be have 5G external chip, but they decided to not add on it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Not sure about the external chip but would not really be able to solder a 5G modem onto the phone board since it would not only require expert soldering skills but also additional resistors and software modifications as well.
Hi, when you have loose or broken charging port/sub board. What is the usual repair or what to solder? I always have the same problem in my 3 phones and it cost alot to fix over and over. Maybe you can help me by making a video. I hope you consider this. Thank you very much god bless
Your best bet would be to order a replacement sub board or charger port board and replace that board. Soldering requires special tools and experience to be able to replace just the charger port itself.
Very nice informative video, highly clarifying the build of this phone! Thank you! Yesterday my phone, out of the blue, won't charge anymore. It doesn't react in any way on connecting it to the powercable to charge it. Unfortunately the charging part of the phone is not covered in your video.
Same thing happened to me! My X3 Pro is only 7 months old and 2 days ago it stopped charging. I tried different chargers and cables, plus wireless chargers. Xiaomi are willing to repair under warranty, but they will wipe my phone and I will lose SMS messages from my late Mother who recently passed away as no back up could be done. My worst nightmare. Wonder if this is a common fault?
@@shuggythebear If the data on the phone is very important to you, I suggest you go to third party and have the memory chip transplanted to working x3 pro.
Not sure honestly. If there is a defect in the board, I would believe the manufacturer should honor replacements if enough people complain about the issue. However if its software related, they should probably issue an update to fix it.
My poco x3 pro's mic stopped working , both of them at the same time , rest everything is perfect , the repair guy tried changing mic and charging plate that contains mic with it but couldn't get it working ! Is that a indication of motherboard problem , I changed to custom roms , I flashed miui fastboot ROM and locked but nothing seems helping !!
one question, if I remove the secondary camera module to get rid of the bulge, the phone would still work with the main camera? just wondering, I know it's a dumb question ^^'
The phone would still work, but if you open the camera app, if any of the other camera modes are selected, it would freeze the app. Say for example you try to zoom out and it switches to a wide angle lens etc. then it would freeze the camera app since it can't find the camera.
Thanks. Both the top and bottom plastic covers have antenna lines drawn through the plastic. As well as antenna contacts on the sub board and motherboard which touch parts of the frame. Not sure exactly which antenna is for which though.

Which wire? of you mean the coaxial cable/wire cable, its usually used for antenna contacts.
@@PBKreviews it affects the signal of an wifi? If i removed it
Last Friday i charged it in the train and it went out and stayed so , how can i recover my pictures or make it work again, should i buy one for parts or is chip reballing out of discussion?
It could be a defective battery, frozen phone (need to hold volume down and power button for 30 seconds), or bad screen.
@@PBKreviews I was at a service , they changed battery and charging port still just started but never booted...
So the Gaming Cooler for Mobile, can't really do its job to cool the CPU or Processor? Because its on the side of the Camera
What is the difference between your own glass after repair?

Can u try pc thermal paste on poco x3 pro for testing of temprature and it's googd to see the insane result...

New sub here... Nice work
Thanks!
I'm using Poco X3 Pro 😊 but I want to ask you one question: why is this phone is slightly heavy 215g... Is there any reason... Or inside the Copper Liquid cooling plate makes it weight..???
Its probably a mix of things like the materials in the frame, the battery, and other components like the copper heat pipe etc.
Big phones with big batteries are usually heavier, and since this phone has a powerful 5160 mAh battery, it will be heavier.
what could be the problem of my phone i replace the sub board already, but the mics are still not working and keeps on shutting down when i will use my mic. i can verify my speakers charging ports are working
Hmm not sure what could be causing an issue like that
Gyro auto moving ka issue bhi Motherboard issue me hota h kya?? 🧐
Hey bro, this is a very late comment so im not sure if you will see this but if u do then please reply to this question,
I have heard certain poco x3 pros do not have thermal paste on top of the SoC and which is also a good reason for death issue of poco x3 pro, alongside the 732g frame which is being used by the sd860. Are all these info true❓
And like yesterday my phone had a white screen with a blue tint in the middle, is this a sign that it will die soon and i should get it reballed + thermal pasted❓
@@PBKreviews Thanks for the response bro! and yea i will keep in mind the advices u gave me while i try to fix it bro

hi!
thank you for your great video
the POCO X3 PRO has some heating issues
but the NFC model does not have this problem!
i can clearly see why!
the PRO model does not have any thermal paste on the chipset!!!
isn't that right?
You're welcome. Yes you are correct, it seems it has thermal paste on the outside but none over the chipset itself. Seems kind of odd why they would not include it. Usually some sort of thermal paste or a thermal pad is needed to properly draw heat away from the chipset to the other heat transfer materials.
have models without nfc?

Hi, I believe it should be the same and work fine.

Yup, love the fact they do this.
please mr tell me how to know if my batterie is original or it was remplacing ...changing please give me a help
Not sure how to tell if it has been replaced.
Hoi, i know i'm late to the party but i just noticed something funneh...
The X3 NFC and the X3 Pro seem to have literally the same layout between them,
Would you think that if i would take the logic board of the X3 Pro, will it fit the X3 NFC variant? i dunno, a ghetto upgrade, i'd say but would it be feasible? :D

I made a mistake and apply not silicon based glue but gorilla glue (Super Glue) did i damage my phone ? everything works but the plastic cover with NFC antena ant speaker assembly plastic cover took damage and now have white damage to it. :(
As long as they work, the visual appearance shouldn't have any affect on the functionality. However you are suppose to use adhesive strips like double sides tape for assembly. Here is a link for a video I made that explains it: ua-cam.com/video/T4iiPUIM7-Y/v-deo.html
Genial buen video..gracias.
Thank you and you're welcome!
I got my POCO X3 PRO repaired; CPU reballed, RAM extended and smth UFS error. Everything is fine but Gyro, Magnetometer and Accelerometer aren't working. What might have happened? Could you please help?
Did you lose any info from your phone when they repaired it? Mine just bricked today. Repair guy couldn't fix it.
What if didn't apply heat on the cover when opening it what will happen
Heat just makes the adhesive loosen up so its easier to pry off. Nothing will happen without heat, would just be harder to pry off.
Thanks. You would probably need to replace that sub board with charger port shown @3:39 in the video
Same happened with my phone, is it really a phone problem?
@@orestisplayz7443 After how much time after you bought your phone this issue occur for you?
Same thing happened to me! My X3 Pro is only 7 months old and 2 days ago it stopped charging. I tried different chargers and cables, plus wireless chargers. Xiaomi are willing to repair under warranty, but they will wipe my phone and I will lose SMS messages from my late Mother who recently passed away as no back up could be done. My worst nightmare. Wonder if this is a common fault?
@@shuggythebear If the data on the phone is very important to you, I suggest you go to third party and have the memory chip transplanted to working x3 pro.
Bro wht is reason of motherboard dead problem of this device? ?if update fixed this
Not sure honestly. If there is a defect in the board, I would believe the manufacturer should honor replacements if enough people complain about the issue. However if its software related, they should probably issue an update to fix it.
Hello, can you change an lcd display for an amoled? for the POCO X3 PRO??
My poco x3 pro's mic stopped working , both of them at the same time , rest everything is perfect , the repair guy tried changing mic and charging plate that contains mic with it but couldn't get it working ! Is that a indication of motherboard problem , I changed to custom roms , I flashed miui fastboot ROM and locked but nothing seems helping !!
Hmm not sure, might be from the main board.
one question, if I remove the secondary camera module to get rid of the bulge, the phone would still work with the main camera? just wondering, I know it's a dumb question ^^'
The phone would still work, but if you open the camera app, if any of the other camera modes are selected, it would freeze the app. Say for example you try to zoom out and it switches to a wide angle lens etc. then it would freeze the camera app since it can't find the camera.
Very nice thabk you... But where are the 3g/4g antennas please??
Thanks. Both the top and bottom plastic covers have antenna lines drawn through the plastic. As well as antenna contacts on the sub board and motherboard which touch parts of the frame. Not sure exactly which antenna is for which though.
Is the sideframe of the X3 Pro plastic or Aluminum?
The frame is an aluminum alloy frame with a layer of plastic over the boarder/sides.
After 2 years of use my phone started having heating issues burning the CPU when overheating, I had to replace the CPU 2 times. Now I think I know what the solution is, I need to apply a new thermal paste, the old one is not enough
Yeah, the thermal paste used on this phone isn't the best.
@@PBKreviews its not only that, i did a copper shim mod+mx4 thermal paste and it still gets hot the issue is that the heatpipe is not able to transfer heat very fast
