Right as Girsu is announced a link 1! The Krawler tech is nuts. And ever since I saw your Awakens tech months ago I've been inspired to never give up on my favorite archetype. (Even though I'm enjoying Paleozoic rn, Mekk Knights and their amazing artwork continue to fuel me forwards)
@@abyssalpetrichor1996 yeah what timing!! We are so back!! Thanks for the kind words. That’s exactly why I started sharing my lists, keep pushing with your favorite decks my friend!! 💪 paleo is really scary lmao
congrats for this bro, i'll try this deck and manage to play it good cuz you deserve it! btw, is it just me having skill issue or tenpai is almost always bad matchup?
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a notification for some reason. Thank you! And well Tenpai is just a sacky matchup for most decks. If they open board breakers, yes, this deck just folds. I have absolutely no way of setting up a reliable S/T negate with the WL engine alone, so Duster/Lightning Storm just wreck things. However, their engine itself is kinda fragile, so it's not hard to stop once they have burned their non-engine. You can see this in the M3-M2 promotion game, for example. If they play mostly handtraps, then it's just a handtrap war as usual. Hopefully things will change with the new Galatea-i allowing greater access to Orcust Crescendo.
@@ancientgalaxy7697 a backup play if I get to Lib but no Mekk for WL Secret, no Deus-X, and no I:P setup to be able to use the Lib bounce. Basically a fallback option for the WL/Lib line. Also can be used to summon S:P on opp turn for banish. As mentioned in the comments of my MDM post, I think it’s the most replaceable card in the list and perhaps more consistency or another HT would be better for more reliable disruption. World Key is the worst normal summon but still needed for consistency due to lack of starters in WL (sets up column for big Mekks + instant Lib access). Also can be summoned with One for One. And another WL name that can be discarded for Morning Star search. Just a consistency engine piece
@@ancientgalaxy7697 no problem, and glad to hear it! 60c is just so much more fun, that’s why I’ve been trying to make a solid one for so long! And yeah using all these WL cards just hits different, even if it ain’t optimal 😅
@@jerrickriddick6436 60c compared to 40c, imo, has: - higher engine ceiling (due to being able to play a larger WL engine, thereby gaining access to a deeper pool of resources and more varied+powerful interactions) - lower engine consistency (less chance of seeing the best NS Girsu, but more ways of playing on turn 1, albeit with weaker payoff in many cases. In terms of sheer % of playable hands, lower than 40c, as is usually the case with 60c piles) - lower non-engine ceiling (due to sheer size of WL engine precluding the inclusion of more HTs so that hands have as many non-engine cards as 40c typically does); can of course be rectified, but general issue with 60c is how HTs fall off beyond the best 5-6 in any given format, so overall card quality declines if one tries to force the issue - lower non-engine consistency (due to diluting the best non-engine cards like Maxx C that unironically carry the deck quite a bit due to its low power) - higher resilience (due to inclusion of more engine and non-engine extenders/bait cards) - greater sustain (40c mekk-Crusadia runs out of gas extremely quickly…60c can dig deep and go toe-to-toe with better decks for more turns assuming u can control tempo) it’s also just way more fun to play because of the greater variety of beautiful WL art in ur hands 😄

What is the point of world legacy awakens and world key in the deck?

It seems that this deck lacks a good NS. It only has girsu.
@@alexandrepedrassi yea, world legacy lacks good NS in general, sadly…
