I’m feeling like Harry, I need some snugs! It’s been 5 weeks since I’ve had a hug or any physical contact at all. Pray for all of us who are single and live on our own, we were not created for isolation!

Peter maybe you can research air flow around ac and heating units make sure the shrubs won't cause any problems I think someone told me once not to plant around mine or let the grass that blows out the lawnmower get on my units because of air flow

Tes you are right in a landscaper been doing it for past 20 years big shubs can suffocate the ac unit and prevent air flow
Actually, having a couple of years of watching your videos under my belt has been a very big help in making sense of some of what is currently going on. Things like the precautions you always took when you went to the hospital or a clinic for blood work, how careful you were when you had to fly, how when you were hospitalized the staff changed gloves and gowns when they came in and out of your room - all these things educated me. And I felt it helped me understand when all of a sudden all of us had to think like that, made what were new behaviors for me seem more comfortable and natural. Thank you, guys!

The back yard looks great! Can't believe you have that much done already! Your vlog is the 1st thing I look for each day. You are such an encouragement to me always but especially during this quarantine! We live in an apartment and have a patio 6 ft. By 14 ft and that is all the space outside I get to go. My husband is a heart transplant survivor so we are under strict rules from his transplant team on staying home. If he were to get this it wouldn't be a good thing, so we shelter in place for as long as needed. We are on week 5 or 6 of being quarantined. The only bad thing for us is missing our 7 grand kiddos and son and wife. So seeing you in your backyard makes me feel like I am outside also!! Love everything you've done to your house!! Have a blessed day! Mary I'm so glad you are feeling better. I've had pleurisy before and it was a terrible scary feeling. Love and Hugs

Don’t underestimate the good it does for us to see you find the joy in small things and not dwell all the time on the bad.
I had a minor migraine recently and the quarantine situation meant I could just go curl up in bed with painkillers and a heat pack rather than try and fight on for as long as possible with it which I’m sure makes them worse. It was lovely in an odd sort of way to have the luxury to do that.
Also, have found out now my migraines seem to be caused by tyramin which is found in aged products such as cheese, so hopefully the days of the three week crippling migraine are over for me.
Waiting to see which body part drops off or tries to kill me next.....

As a long time cat owner/slave I can confidently say that snuggles with cats are one of the best things about being in quarantine. Except the cats are taking over the bed as it is getting colder here in Australia.

Harry might be easier to bathe if you put a bath mat in the tub. Cats don’t like it when their paws are slipping and sliding. It looked like you had to chase him down a bit. If he has something under him that he won’t lose his balance on he might be more comfortable. Glad you’re feeling better Mary.

Glad the lung pain is lessening, Mary. Peter, I look forward to see a shaggier version of you! lol I'm using this time to let my grey hair grow out AND I'm baking a lot more--first rye bread, then no knead bread and now I have refrigerator rolls rising in the fridge--waiting to be baked tomorrow. So many carbs to see us through this trying time!

I just have to tell you guys that your animals are super cute. Especially Henry really feels home already. Olli is just as cute. I am allergic to doggie hair but I could have a poodle for some reason. I have a black cat called Moritz-sorry Mary that the lungs still hurt. Maybe relaxing on the patio might distract you from the pain?! Cheers Barbara

My parents have a similar set up where the units are sort of an eye sore so they built fencing around it and then on the outside of the fencing they did the same and planted flowers as well (included a gate to allow access)

One of the people I’m quarantined with has cut my hair for more than 10 years. I’ve also cut her’s. So nothing has changed on that front for me. I also used to cut my ex-husband’s hair.

Please let Mary cut your hair. Since quarantine I have watched three videos of wives cutting husbands hair, each had a first pass racing stripe from a too short guide. The best entertainment ever! My hubby told me NO I can’t practice on his hair!
Ollie just knew that Harry wanted some deep pressure therapy. Harry obviously loved it.

Southern tip for poison rash: use vinegar. Soak brown paper bag strips with vinegar and place directly on rash. Leave on for a while, about 15 minutes to air dry the strips. Remove. Rash will be dried up overnight. Poison rashes can spread! This will stop the spread.
