Been driving this car for 4 weeks.... did not know the shocks had adjustment springs. THANKS FOR THAT!
Glad I could help!
i flip the shock over and fill the fake res with solder to help a little weight down below
Def a good mod!
How do you not melt the reservoir.
@@jasonhemmerlin6139 you can use low temp melting solder. Also, if you are really worried about it, cool the shocks in your freezer and then add some solder. Cool again and add more.
Hopefully those weights stay on better then they do on real car rims...... HA hA Ha!
Good idea! I've got a welding shop full of off cuts, so I'm good to go! LOL!
Hahah they do!
Excellent work 😉👍
Thanks a ton! We hope it helps someone.
U can turn your shocks upside down and put weights in the reservoir share weights down low
Yep!
Thanks again! 💯💯💯💯💯
Any time!
I just reverse the top screw on the shock to face the weight forward and out of the way.
That works.
Steel BB’s will fit the resivor I put 2 in each one
Great idea!
lol the gold
I mean… if you want the most weight taking up the least amount of space!!!!
Is there enough room under the ESC tray to fit one of those weights to get a bit of the weight lower? Great series of vid's to see the progression of mod's and there improvements. Thanks!
You can, but we think that is adding weight too hight. We want to keep all extra weight below the springs. Unsprung weight is best.
@@TheShopMiniRC Yep. Just referring to those stick on car wheel weights as cheap easy weight. Instead of stacking them all on top of the servo, is there room for at least one of them under the servo tray to get some weight lower down?
@@wingnutbert9685 ahh. No room under the servo tray really. Maybe if you had some really small. But it sits right on top of the axle.
@@TheShopMiniRC Gotcha! Really got to get out and get one for myself. Chomping at the bit as this looks like so much fun!
Hello from southeast alaska do you have any stickers for my rock crawlers remote control
Sorry, we don't have any stickers yet.... but awesome to have you here and I hope you subbed so that when we do have stickers, you will know!
Two nickels work
On servo
yep, and it only costs 10 cents!!!
i installed a brass diff cover and it's not as tippy
Yep. Brass diff cover is a great option if you are looking to spend some money. Also brass steering knuckles.
@@TheShopMiniRC true i am looking for a better way.LOL it's getting pricy buying all the up grades on line. Thank you
