except Brian Wilson and Bowie were original and this is just directly ripping off the aesthetics and ideas of 70s glam rock, it's not offering anything new
@Dominic Brady lol digging into my channel to find some random ad hominem response. I don't just play jazz, my longest running band plays mostly blues and rock music, a lot of which from the era being referenced by these guys. The fact I play jazz doesn't have anything to do with my above comment though does it? Why not reply to what I've said, rather than to who you think I am from 1 youtube video?
I understand you're complementing them but they are in no way a tribute band to the 70's. And I understand you can clearly hear the 70's 60's influences (it's my favorite era of music and the best era of rock music ever). But they are not aspiring to be a 70's band and I honestly don't think they're retro. I think people confuse the fact that music from the 60s and 70s is good and this is also good. There's no denying the influences but that's their gimmick. They are simply an amazing band making sort of sometimes simple amazing pop rock songs and that in itself doesn't make it 70s . Even if the music scene wasn't shit right now they would stand out. People are confusing the fact that the 70s and 60s music is arguably the only true period of original rock music because it was truly a revolution and rebellion against the status quo with the fact that their music is actually intrinsically good instead of have to make some other argument for why it's good. I honestly think people who think they're a retro band are missing something and probably the most important part of the band which is that they're just doing their thing because the elements they add and how young they are, tied with how studied they are make this a completely different thing and they certainly wouldn't want be categcorized as simply retro. Not that's what you're saying I just hear that a lot.
Just came here to say how much I love this band and this song. Saw them in Fuji rock a few years back.... they were one of the highlights of the entire thing .

[Verse 1] I could love anyone and I believe They'd love me too and never leave You could love everyone but what do you do? You frighten them off, they don't matter to you [Chorus] You move onto another person No one can give you what you want You love someone when their heart is hurting But they could never be the one [Verse 2] I think you're beautiful, well, isn't it strange? A modern classic song. Its seems like they are about to release a masterpiece soon, like pet sounds or this old masterpieces of the 60s 70s... They are very young

Pretty sure it’s an insult, they are being insensitive about michael’s gender expression. So idk why it has so many likes, I think people are confused about the definition of “camp” being used here.

Great! Same here in Brasil! Playing a lot during this difficult time!
this was the first Twigs song i heard, instant love, they make me feel like a kid and it's still 1976
Ronnie wood and rod Stewart have aged well
I was actually thinking it was beginning to catch up with them
lewis lol
I was thinking Ronnie Wood and Iggy Pop.
I was thinking Ronnie - and the other lad got all his moves from Jagger and hair do from Iggy. lol
Sorsha011 I’m seeing some David Johansen of the New York Dolls in there too. Also, “Ronnie wood” has the hair of Peak Journey Steve Perry.
Life has meaning again.
Almost dying from hypothermia for your campaign? You've got my vote.
