I love the fact that you can see him putting on his 'mask' throughout the video. There's little moments, a few seconds here, a few seconds there, where you can see his 'scared' expression, wide eyes/unsmiling mouth/shoulders hunched, before the beat drops and he grins wide and leans into whatever he thinks is 'wanted'. iirc the name of the episode is Masquerade. But those little moments foreshadow the last few seconds of the song where he breaks away from Valentino and locks himself in his room. It just feels so raw.
The whole sequence is also a very spiritual successor to Addict. It does the same thing, jumping from vulnerable terrified angel, to his performance, and back. And those back scenes, throwing the glass and collapsing to sob, curled up in a bed at rock bottom crying.
@@mycroft16 I'm so sad the depressing outro of Addict isn't a part of the actual song itself and just on the video :( makes me sad when it comes on my spotify and ends without it. I also really loved how this is just like Addict, and just as good, while being a whole different bop 🙏
I love how at the final dance part it's him literally disassociating. like the dance is angel trying to make it okay for himself, make it bearable but the background shows us what's actually happening and that's such a nice detail.
Recently, I found out that he recontextualizes himself as a dancer on a stage in his head while what's really happening in reality is on the big screens in the background. By doing so he protects his mind from the outside world; his last stand to protect his sense of self. He hints at this at 1:05 when he says that "I got so good at being untrue" and later 1:12 "I disassociate, disappear". The latter line is taken literally as the basis for the following scenes. This became most evident at 1:33 where he is on the floor of BOTH the mental stage and in reality before pounding his fist on the floor and then switching to him doing the same but on his mental stage. The moment Val appears the mental stage and the big screens invert their roles and his superstar persona shows up on the screen instead before snapping out of it at 1:49 where he opens his eyes once more once he remembers where he is. Val's presence is so powerful that he's capable of shattering Angel's sanctuary with ease. This song aged like exquisite wine. Props to the passionate folks at the HH crew for crafting this fine gem.

But having watched this video and seeing you watch it front to back at first without commenting then going back and commenting is the perfect take of a reaction video. I dig it, and I approve. It was fun seeing you experience something I experienced with more context but still getting it in the end. @@MattablesThere’s an extremely popular music video called “Addict” featuring the same character that came out back when the show was just an online pilot. It has crazy views, is super iconic, and is also a bop with a depressing meaning!
Anthony, who took the stage name Angel Dust because he uses the white powder and alcohol to forget what's being done to him, is essentially an SA and abuse victim of the Mothman with heart-shaped glasses. He sold his soul to Valentino (see previous description) to survive in Hell. The terms of the contract is that Mothman can do ANYTHING to him in the studio and he can't fight back. This lifestyle is breaking him inside, so he ruins his body and mind with drugs and booze in the hopes of eventually being so messed up that he's no longer a moneymaker. Valentino is an abuser who has a potent aphrodisiac in his saliva that can override inhibitions.
I know Angel Dust is already dead but in real life you CANNOT take drugs just to make you feel better it's bad and it causes death. Everyone in the comment must believe that. :c
@@Owlways-sleepy The first episode "Overture" has Angel buying it from a vending machine, only to have it stolen and the thief gets hit by a falling rock.
@@mycroft16 Very true. I forgot about that. As a male survivor, it was easy to overlook the emotional abuse and gaslighting and say that it was just all in my head.
Like everyone else is saying, if you’re freaking out this much over this song, then you will absolutely LOVE the show in its entirety. The whole series is basically a musical, with at minimum two songs per episode, and every single one of them goes just as hard as this.
So, fun note from a pole dancer about the step-sequence you broke down a few times: A lot of the footwork and the tricks in the three dance sequences are actual techniques we use, which is a huge point in the show's favor - the detail. Specifically, the move where Angel Dust (the character) rocks forward on his knee during the dance with one leg straightened is a Russian Get Up and it's SO COOL to see it incorporated. There are others and they all look RIGHT, which is rad.
I'd like to know more, as someone who likes to dance but knows very little about technique. Do you mean the first chorus where Val has Angel on a leash, or the second when Angel is doing a stage routine with other dancers? Or maybe neither and it's something about the actual pole sequence?
I would love to see more song reactions from Hazbin! Perhaps even watching the show if you want! I personally recommend- Hell's Greatest Dad, More Than Anything, Loser Baby, and Respectless- those are my personal favorites at least!
Yes, I would also love more reactions from you for this show. After I watch an episode I’m always looking up reactions to these awesome songs and yours was pretty great
Thing about that sad end part, is that is the true Angel Dust...the rest is his facade he puts up to convince everyone he enjoys it in order to keep his abuser happy, that's how toxic relationships work.
The singing character, Angel dust, is based on a spider He actually has 8 limbs, two legs and six arms (he usually keeps the third pair hidden though) he also has 6 ' freckles' under his eyes that are actually smaller eyes His boss is based on a moth so he has 6 limbs total You're right, he's definitely not enjoying this, at least not all of it; he's very good at putting on a mask
@@Night.1 when Angel dares husk to 'call him fake one more time' you can see his 'freckles' have pupils I don't think we've seen it any other time though
I've honestly thought that this is foreshadowing! I think Angel is going to end Val's reign, whether through death or character assassination. The spider builds a web, built up from the support of all his friends and catches the moth, destroying him.
Vivziepop the creator of Hazbin Hotel also has Helluva Boss which has 2 seasons available on UA-cam. Set in the same universe/hell and the music and songs in both shows are amazing, epic and heart wrenching. It would be great if you could react to them but since it filled with bad language, violence and rampant demon horniness you could just enjoy it off camera. It is one hell of a good watch.
And the fact that they have Angel say, "I got the chest fluff that everyone thinks is tits" because of the fandom desperately trying to figure out what it was made me smile.
@@Golden_Pawz he doesn't have wings, and he has a lot of spider symbolisms with webs in the background and so fort. I also think viv confirmed it because his family had a web of crimes or something like that. And he has six arms, two legs.. 8 together :p (one set is hidden most of the time). And with colouring and fluff, he resembles a jumping spider the most I feel. Honestly can't confirm if that part was confirmed but he is definitely a spider
@Golden_Pawz it's a spider. He has 8 limbs, though he mostly hides the 3rd pair of arms. He has 8 eyes, the 3 dots under his 2 main eyes are more eyes.
the character's name is angel dust and is indeed male (and a demon.) iirc there's another music video called "addict" or something, if you want to check that out
I've described this song as "It's like someone threw Toxic and All U Wanna Do into a pot, boiled it into a jam, and strained out all the subtext." It fucking rocks.
poison is a production of a porn studio by an abusive man named valentino. The whole song is produced and made to sound catchy, a bop, sensational, celebrity status, smiles, glitz and glam. In reality Angel is singing and screaming for help with the lyrics but we mostly watch the fast paced visuals and the chorus.... Until the end when the lights and cameras are off you hear his plea and desperstion for help more clearly. Just like many abuse victims, they say they're fine, living a good life, they hide their pleas in ways that are masked more by their abuser who reinforce that their victim is having a good time. Angel is very good at putting up a front. As he says in the song "ive gotten so good at being in true, gotten so good at telling you what you wanna hear."
he got into that all by himself, no-one pushed him to be a prostitute or take drugs, normal people don't do that. I know this is exact author's world, author's vision of hell if it exists, but in any case it's based on real life, so as for my opinion that character doesn't deserve to be pitied about.
@@IPlayer-f1vexcept that’s not always the case either. Some people do fully choose it. But some people are manipulated into it and once they want to leave, they’re forced to stay. In his case he signed a contract. The reason why or what the contract fully says isn’t specified. Just that Valentino owns Angel. Also just because someone chooses a life, they didn’t choose the abusive parts. You don’t just fully dismiss them.
"Clearly he doesnt like this, but hes smiling". "He's so sad." Yeah, welcome to the reality of sex work and abusive relationships. Real talk: the art of this song and every detail in it, I adore. For me, I think the musical number is the dissociation going on in Angel's head while his body is used for everything else, and the freeze frames in the cameras show you what is really going on while he's dissociating from his body, the treble beat of the song is camera flashes and slaps, and the only scene without cameras, the only real smile you see Angel give in the whole number is when he's jumping into Valentino's arms and having sex without all the cameras, presumably before Angel knew that Valentino was just using him. Despite all the horrible things, Angel loves Valentino, and the reason why he stays is because at one point he believed Valentino loved him too.
To answer the question”are all these animals” question, kind of. Essentially, (spoilers): The city is in the Pride circle of Hell and most of the souls are human. In this universe, when a person dies, their soul can reflect the type of person they were and/or how they died. With the more animalistic ones, they’re often more in the vein of self indulgence eg sex, drugs etc.
This song is amazing. This show is amazing. Edit: Watching him figure out Angel Dust's deal is so amazing too. Seeing him just do @9:00 "Its like hes forced... " nail on the head. Its who he HAS to be.
The way that Angel moves when he's in the red outfit with the tall black boots and has the fluffy tail is SO BEAUTIFUL and you are the first creator I have seen to point this out. THANK YOU for seeing what I've seen! Also the transition into the dance number with the black outfit, and the dance number itself, is just 🤌🏻
3:30 another detail of the video that makes it even harsher than it already is. The music video dancing part is angel dust, slipping into a fantasy, what he’s going through. That’s why it suddenly flashes to these harsh moments that are mimicked by what he’s doing in the dance number. But even in his fantasy, Valentino still shows up to pull them away.
This song is actually from the most r-rated episode in the entire show, and its because of this song and an sa scene before it. This is the only episode that's 18+, the rest of the show is 16+.
"do they like doing this?" No, he absolutely hates it. He's smiling because he's an actor, he controls his emotions really good which is incredibly impressive ngl. He sold his soul (which you already know) to Val and has no choice but to obey him.
Hazbin Hotel has 2 songs every episode and it is an adult animated musical! Its super cool and I totally recommend listening to the other songs, or just watching the show yourself to get the context of the songs! Some of them have much deeper or cooler meaning if you have context, including this one! But either way is awesome. 🎉
Angel is such a wonderfully tragic character. If you're interested, you should also check out Addict. It's a banger and shows some context about the relationship between Angel and Valentino.
Perfect representation of the disconnect between people in the industry and the audience. While on the camera they seem to be having a great time but you don’t actually know what’s going on.
PLEASE watch this show, it’s so quality. And there is a LOT of music! Two songs an episode! There’s also Helluva Boss, it’s sister show that’s here on UA-cam. It’s in the same universe, though different characters, and it ALSO has music every episode!!
Thank you for the reaction, I really enjoyed it! As many others, I would love to see your reactions to other songs from this show, I absolutely adore almost all of them. It would make a lot of sense if you’ll react to “Loser, baby” next, since it’s a song from the same episode and the same character
The first time I saw Angel in the Hazbin Hotel pilot episode, before he had time to even say anything I paused the show, pointed at the screen and said "I don't know who he is, but I love him! I bet he's gonna be my favorite" I was right, 5 years, 8 + 1 episodes, and one music video later, he's my favorite character in the entire show and I have an acrylic pin up key chain of him x')))
Context (also spoilers): Yes Angel Dust is male Angel Dust (stage name) is a human soul who sold their soul to another demon, Valentino (guy with heart glasses). Their agreement is basically Angel is a porn star that makes Valentino money and he is bound to a contract, literally. At first Angel liked it, but now wants to change and stop. Also Valentino is very abusive towards Angel and threatening considering he has a lot of power. Basically Angel loves the sex and porn stuff, but doesn't want to do it anymore and he can't leave the contract with Valentino. Someone can summarize this better.
Mostly accurate though I would say we don’t know the specifics of Angel Dusts deal, only that he has to do whatever Val says inside of the studio. He might have been forced to agree from the start, or otherwise coerced, we just don’t know.
Valentino is a moth and fun fact moths produce a toxic that attracts female moths to them and can work on other bugs, so maybe when you see the red dripping from his mouth or when he blows the red smoke in angel's face that's all just toxins making him want him more?? (this is all my opinion but idk)
All the characters in Hazbin Hotel are fantastic but to me Angle Dust is by far the best character, especially cus he has huge character development through out the show.
Today's exactly the day of the 1st season finale (8 episodes). As for the genre, Hazbin Hotel is a R-rated comedy-drama-musical cartoon series containing 1 Pilot episode from 2019 and 8-episode 1st season. The story based in Hell. Pilot is more on the comedy and introduction side, the season contains all of it, including 2 songs per episode and they BANG hard each of them in it's own way, so I highly recommend to check it out. Cheers
I’ve rewatched this reaction like 8 times. I adore that you actually stop on frames and analyze the content. You literally understood the song more than some people who have actually watched the show. You’re on point and I love the questions you ask! I hope you do end up reacting to the series because one of my favorite aspects of the show is how intentional they are with the reactions and expressions of the characters. I feel like a lot of reactors don’t pick up on it because they get too focused on their own commentary, but I think you’d notice a lot of detail. You’re very observant!
These type of reviews are my favorite. There are too many where they are just bobbing along to the music, say its good, video over. Its refreshing to see one break from the mold
Believe it or not the dance number sequences are actually Angel’s dissociations. You’ll notice that they get longer and more intense with each transition/‘poison’ he takes. Valentino (his pimp) is actively trying to dislodge him from them (hence the look of fear during the group dance number).
looks like someone is falling down the hazbin hotel rabbit hole if you want to watch the series I recommend to watch the pilot and the Addict music video before hand
15:13 so this is not spoiler as it doesnt affect the plot but to answer your questions, because they are all people who died and ends up in hell. So this setting is in hell. People manifest into different forms relating their life on earth. Angel Dust manifested as a spider demon due to the web of crimes he commited since he belonged to a mob family. He is part italian. His name in hell is based on the drug that killed him. But they do still remember their human name and often use that when making contracts with other demons. But there are still characters that look more human too in the show.
best reaction finally someone who watch everything at once and only in the end stopped to rect about all the specific things about this amazing song and unique animation
People already told you the character's name but this song is so tragic, and i noticed yiu start to see some of it, but he constantly shows flashes of fear, discomfort, reluctance... and at one point it even shows his face screaming in what could be "pleasure" but if you see the way his closed eyes are creased it's actually pain. He's a drug addict who ended up selling his soul to the pink glasses character and now is also an X worker. It's part of the reason for the lines "i can only blame myself" and "i made my choice" if you don't watch the context it's easier to ignore until the end but watching it is so saddening because it just gets more and more obvious that everything going on is something forced on him.
This show, btw, is literally a broadway musical (not actually, but it is formated like one). The first episode is called Overture even. It sets up the idea and plot along with the stakes. The intervening episodes build the characters up and advance the plot toward the stakes. And once the conflict is over, there's a big musical number that starts out with everyone a bit down, but as they come together and strengthen each other that sadness and loss turns to resolve for the future and the whole things ends in an insane chorus with a direct call back to the very first episode.
Some song reacts you could do for this that's by the same-ish people are "Addict" Hazbin Hotel accompany song so it isn't in the show (this one was before the VA change but the singer is still great) "Just look my way" by Stolas Hellava Boss (This is a side project done by the same people, every episode is free on youtube) and "Oh Millie" Hellava Boss (another side project song but a super cute and catchy one)
I hope you'll react to both Hazbin Hotel AND Helluva Boss. If you do the latter, know that you don't have to censor or cut anything. Helluva Boss is completely free to watch and Vivziepop (creator) loves it when people react to it. You won't get copyright strikes and you also won't get demonetized because this show rakes in millions of views with each episode so UA-cam loves it too. I don't know if you can do the same thing with Hazbin because that one is on prime, but someone else might be able to answer that. Either way, if you do react to these shows, prepare for rampant demon horniness, great story telling and character development, tons of hilarity, absolute BANGING musical numbers and lots and lots of feels. Also, for Helluva I do recommend to start with the pilot before episode 1. The pilot isn't officially canon anymore but it helps to introduce the main characters and what they're about and what they do, it'll help clear up any confusion you may get if you were to jump straight into episode 1 without watching the pilot. Just a tip. Hazbin also has a pilot. I don't know if that one is still considered part of the canon but it's a great watch either way.
You should absolutely watch this show, it's amazing. There is another music video called 'Addict' with the same character and the original pilot is on UA-cam. The music, story, and heart in this show has been incredible!
He has two personalities, one is Angel dust and the other is Anthony, when he was human, sometimes it's surface when he can't to hide his real feelings. Love the character. That's why he's different in the last part. Anthony overcome angel dust
Gotta say, I really love how you take time to appreciate not just the song and lyrics, but also the animation that goes with it. A lot of people get "stuck", so to speak, on the subject matter and the absolute banger song, which is completely valid, but I really like that you took the time to also analyze the animation and even the character designs. A lot of work and love was put into this, and I always appreciate it when reactors acknowledge that. =)
I just randomly found you because of this reaction. I had the same response to this song. It's so catchy and so heart breaking at the same time! I loved your excitement and enthusiasm over this. Totally subscribed because you have great energy and now I want more. 😁
He's exactly what you described, a gay man who occasionally likes to wear feminine clothes. The show is actually about damned souls in hell, and most of the characters don't look human. I think the thing with Valentino (the guy with the glasses) is that Angel probably did like him at first but he's realizing it's a toxic relationship so he's trying to leave. My personal interpretation of that ending is that Angel noticed how Vox (the tv head guy) is Val's actual boyfriend, and possibly pieced together how much he lied to him. If you like Angel Dust you should watch "Addict" too, it's a different vocalist and it isn't canon to the show anymore but still a good song with a fully animated music video. Hazbin Hotel is a musical, there are about two songs per episode and most are uploaded on their official channel. If you like the style you should consider checking out Helluva Boss too, it's actually free to watch on youtube.
This episode was rough but absolutely necessary. It tackles DV and SA and ab*sive amd toxic relationships. The animation is incredible. The songs are pretty much all amazing too. Definitely watch it!
8:48 He didn't say "He likes this because he seems happy the whole time" and he didn't say "He doesn't like doing it because he seemed sad at the end". The way he said "So like, do they like doing this? 'Cause it seems like they like this, but it also seems like they don't have a choice" was SO ON POINT OH MY GOD
Please react to the song "Loser, Baby" it's also from Hazbin Hotel. It features Angel Dust (the guy this music video centered around) and Husker, another guy character in the show, it's even from the same episode as this song!
Hazbin Hotel is absolutely phenomenal and better than I expected. The themes, the characters, and the songs are all top tier... I HIGHLY recommend it, especially to get this character's backstory. "Loser, Baby" that follows is a must.
Funnily enough I think most of your questions were specifically answered in this episode of the show - episode 4. The show has 2 songs per episode, the other song from this episode "Loser baby" is also quality, it'd be nice to see you react to it if you're not checking out the entire show. The show itself is rated 16+, however episode 4 is explicitly rated 18+. This music video is basically why haha.
15:02 Angel Dust (the singer) is a spider he has 3 sets of arms (with one he can make appear and disappear at will) + his legs while Valentino (the one with the glasses) is a moth so 2 sets of arms + his legs
Honestly the fact that they where able to make an addictive banger & absolutely incredible animation that moves along with it.....about one of the most awful subject matters out there, showing the horrors of it, & have it work? That's raw talent.

Or maybe neither and it's something about the actual pole sequence?
that is so cool! how do I find out more about that stuff? Ithink it's so sweet.
After I watch an episode I’m always looking up reactions to these awesome songs and yours was pretty great
He would literally go through the emotional spectrum with "Loser, Baby." Easily one of the best songs
ehh song is kinda overrated ngl@@johnhoolehan690
Saaame
Mine are almost the same! More than anything, Poison, Loser baby, Stayed Gone and Respectless
Thing about that sad end part, is that is the true Angel Dust...the rest is his facade he puts up to convince everyone he enjoys it in order to keep his abuser happy, that's how toxic relationships work.
Every time I think about that, it's like a stab through the heart
The singing character, Angel dust, is based on a spider
He actually has 8 limbs, two legs and six arms (he usually keeps the third pair hidden though) he also has 6 ' freckles' under his eyes that are actually smaller eyes
His boss is based on a moth so he has 6 limbs total
You're right, he's definitely not enjoying this, at least not all of it; he's very good at putting on a mask
I just realized how ironic that is. He's the spider but he's caught by the moth.
ANGEL HAS 8 EYES?! You learn something new every day
@@Night.1 when Angel dares husk to 'call him fake one more time' you can see his 'freckles' have pupils
I don't think we've seen it any other time though
@@RainyLS and husk is a cat caught by the deer (Alastor)
I've honestly thought that this is foreshadowing! I think Angel is going to end Val's reign, whether through death or character assassination. The spider builds a web, built up from the support of all his friends and catches the moth, destroying him.
reactions to this show would go so hard!!
Fun fact: the show’s creator, Vivienne Medrano, has a degree in animation. So everything that she leads has a TON of visual details & Easter eggs.
Angel Dust is based on a jumping spider, that's why he's so fluffy ;) And yes, he is awesome
And the fact that they have Angel say, "I got the chest fluff that everyone thinks is tits" because of the fandom desperately trying to figure out what it was made me smile.
I think he is based of a moth like Valentino.
@@fridolfk Oh ok thanks.
@Golden_Pawz it's a spider. He has 8 limbs, though he mostly hides the 3rd pair of arms. He has 8 eyes, the 3 dots under his 2 main eyes are more eyes.
the character's name is angel dust and is indeed male (and a demon.) iirc there's another music video called "addict" or something, if you want to check that out
Every song in this show has been a banger so far
I've described this song as "It's like someone threw Toxic and All U Wanna Do into a pot, boiled it into a jam, and strained out all the subtext." It fucking rocks.
Oh damn you're not wrong
poison is a production of a porn studio by an abusive man named valentino.
Essentially, (spoilers):
The city is in the Pride circle of Hell and most of the souls are human.
Also the transition into the dance number with the black outfit, and the dance number itself, is just 🤌🏻
This isn't just a show. This is a musical.
You should definitely react to this show it’s worth the watch
"do they like doing this?"
No, he absolutely hates it.
It's a banger and shows some context about the relationship between Angel and Valentino.
yeah the whole episode is pretty emotional
To answer a couple of your questions, this is rated 16+ and each episode has multiple songs
This episode specifically (and only this eoisode) is actually TV MA
And has a specific trigger warning at the start
It’s actually rated 18+ she said it has too much sexual content for it to be 16
for me in the uk it’s 18+
THIS episode and another one is rated 18+
The first time I saw Angel in the Hazbin Hotel pilot episode, before he had time to even say anything I paused the show, pointed at the screen and said "I don't know who he is, but I love him! I bet he's gonna be my favorite" I was right, 5 years, 8 + 1 episodes, and one music video later, he's my favorite character in the entire show and I have an acrylic pin up key chain of him x')))
Context (also spoilers): Yes Angel Dust is male
Angel Dust (stage name) is a human soul who sold their soul to another demon, Valentino (guy with heart glasses).
You’re very observant!
ah yes another reacting youtuber doing hazbin hotel stuff i can't get enough
These type of reviews are my favorite. There are too many where they are just bobbing along to the music, say its good, video over. Its refreshing to see one break from the mold
It's nuts when you notice what's going on on the screens in the background where it clearly shows Angel Dust being in pain
In a couple of words. Hazbin Hotel is a musical about hell
I watched episode one, and I was instantly hooked. Highly highly recommend. The music is extremely heart and soul driven filled with emotion.
Definitely deserves a full watch. Hazbin hotel is a great show
People already told you the character's name but this song is so tragic, and i noticed yiu start to see some of it, but he constantly shows flashes of fear, discomfort, reluctance... and at one point it even shows his face screaming in what could be "pleasure" but if you see the way his closed eyes are creased it's actually pain.
If I remember correctly the story beats are still basically canon but the art style isn’t
Hazbin's pilot is canon but its timeline is pushed back a few days
You made some very definitive statements about what automated things would decide, regarding monetization, not sure I'd risk that 😅
You should absolutely watch this show, it's amazing. There is another music video called 'Addict' with the same character and the original pilot is on UA-cam. The music, story, and heart in this show has been incredible!
OMG watching you go in with zero context to imo one of the hardest songs of the series, i am 💀💀💀
Also, fun fact, the VA for Angel Dust had never been a VA before this show and he absolutely killed it
Your commentary is just so insightful, especially for someone who has only seen the music video. You have my favorite Hazbin reactions.
He has two personalities, one is Angel dust and the other is Anthony, when he was human, sometimes it's surface when he can't to hide his real feelings. Love the character. That's why he's different in the last part. Anthony overcome angel dust
yup the animation of this show is crazy so amazing especially for this cool character and also the voice actor did amazing job
This is a helluva way to get introduced to Hazbin Hotel..
I see what you did there
This is so interesting to watch a reaction without any idea of whats happening😂
Going into poison without knowing what the show is about is WILD💀
Gotta say, I really love how you take time to appreciate not just the song and lyrics, but also the animation that goes with it. A lot of people get "stuck", so to speak, on the subject matter and the absolute banger song, which is completely valid, but I really like that you took the time to also analyze the animation and even the character designs. A lot of work and love was put into this, and I always appreciate it when reactors acknowledge that. =)
Would love a Hazbin Hotel reaction! 😀 Also, Angel Dust's (The fuzzy Character) pronouns are he/him
The final two episodes just released so now is the time! watch it!!
I just randomly found you because of this reaction. I had the same response to this song. It's so catchy and so heart breaking at the same time! I loved your excitement and enthusiasm over this. Totally subscribed because you have great energy and now I want more. 😁
I love how you analyzed each part of the video and gave your own insights. Great reaction!
“Do you know how to spell Hazbin?” “No”. 😂
Hazbin Hotel is absolutely phenomenal and better than I expected. The themes, the characters, and the songs are all top tier... I HIGHLY recommend it, especially to get this character's backstory. "Loser, Baby" that follows is a must.
Mattables vibing to the song and than seeing his face as he slowly realizes how tragic it all is in the end of the song is amazing.
15:02 Angel Dust (the singer) is a spider he has 3 sets of arms (with one he can make appear and disappear at will) + his legs
while Valentino (the one with the glasses) is a moth so 2 sets of arms + his legs
Honestly the fact that they where able to make an addictive banger & absolutely incredible animation that moves along with it.....about one of the most awful subject matters out there, showing the horrors of it, & have it work? That's raw talent.
I swear every song in this show is a banger, even if they do so many different things and genres. I don’t know how they are doing it. I’d love more reactions to the songs or even a full watch through (there are 8 episodes, 25 minutes each)
YES YOU NEED TO REACT TO MORE SONGS. im absolutely obsessed with the show and i love it even more when i see others love it as well
DUUUDE 100% got a new sub here, i love how enthusiastic you are and how invested you were from the get go! i really hope you continue onto reacting to the full series!! :D
Fun fact: Angel Dust has 6 arms. He keeps 2 of them hidden until shit gets real.
When i first saw the show the last weeks, i was so shocked.. and i'm so much in love with the show.
It is sad, it is sick, it is deoressing and hellish.
Beside Rick & Morty my most beloved Toon Series❤
The scene where they are angels dancing with Valentino I interpret it as angel trying to dance for Valentino or to appease him basically the saying walking on eggshells
i'm so fucking happy my fav reactor reacted to poison by angeldust i feel blessed
First vidya of yours I've watched. I'm on a whole "Angel Dust/Hazbin/Poison" appreciation bender rn.
Me like ur video!
SpODOR HOT!
Poor Spodor.
:3
loved your reaction dude ! would love to see you react to the whole series now
a masterpiece of song, music video, for an amazing show! love your reactions, it felt nice seeing someone watching it for the first time and listening to what do you think and appreciate! :)
The way your brain thoughts hit turbulence on the way out your mouth is so relatable.
The show is practically a musical, but it’s so perfectly written. I love it you should totally watch it.💖💖💖
His reactions were exactly how I felt when I got into Hazbin the first time. Back then I only had the pilot and the song Addict. Such a good show
The last couple seconds of this song always have ,e tearing up, angel’s va put so much emotion in this my god
You should also check out "Addict" - a fan song that the creator actually liked enough to make canon (and have an awesome video animated for it).
"am I simping?" Relatable
Excellent reaction! You were really perceptive about the message despite knowing nothing about the show. I'm here after seeing your reaction to ep1 and I love your style :)
"Why does she watch this?" She's got good taste 👌👏🙌
Okay LOVE that you went through it once before pausing a ton, perfect balance of first impressions and analyzing
