Loved this :-) It's always a pleasure & a joy to chum along with you & Moss. Thanks as always for taking the time & effort to share. :-) thanks for giving me smiles & a great start to my day.Sending best & well wishes to you both*
I read later on that a guy out hiking was found mysteriously dead in this forest too. They couldn't determine the cause of death: no joke by the way! 😱💩💩💩 www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/body-discovered-fife-forest-identified-11197382.amp
Looks familiar - I spent night there in July 2018 and it was raining, too. Great forest with even better stories. Thanks for the video, John. Cheers, Seb
Just subbed to your channel buddy 👍... I was in devilla around three weeks ago and found a full bushcraft site in the middle of the forest there. No idea who built it but top jib to them...ATB Daz northern territory 👍
Cheers man! 🐾👍 I did see a guy once on UA-cam say he was going to try and use a Swiss Army knife as his only bushcraft tool for a year and he was in Devilla Forest at the time. So are there are probably quite a few folk about who go there for bushcraft stuff. I'm not surprised actually, considering the size of it, the type of forest and it's location. Was it like a fort type camp?
@@HoundsofHowgate yeah this camp was no Swiss army knife lol.... Great vids mate 👍.... Also I know of a certain lady who loves all your vids and she's a wildcamper who'd probably really enjoy to meet you at some point in the future for a wildcamp
@@HoundsofHowgate no pal... Well not a youtuber per say but has been in vids. Really nice person. I'm saying no more as she might Hong Kong fooie my ass hahahaha 🤣 Keep up the great vids mate
Spooky place for sure. All that talk o witches jumping aboot made me think of Carlops near West Linton, near your neck of the woods I think. The name Carlops comes from Carlin's lowp (or witches leap in English) You see 2 rock faces when you drive through the village & apparently witches wid jump aboot these like maddies just tae gie the locals the shiters. Love auld folklore like that.
Lol great stuff. You were worried red eyed witches jumping oot the woods I'd be more worried about some flash Gordons. Get a J lo arse transplant you no get your waterproofs aff. ATB.
Great video but I have to say that I can’t stand this place. There’s a horrible atmosphere there and I always pick up on it. It’s as though something happened there at one point in the past. Also. I used to work in the nearby quarry and that was the same. Definitely worth a trip though. There’s great walking and lots to see and do.
Thanks! 🐾👍 Aye, I wasn't sure if it's because you hear the history and that rattles around in the back of the heid when you are out and that subconsciously give you a creepy vibe. That's why it's interesting what you say about the story: spooky! What else is interesting is that there are a lot of churches etc in that area. Plus the old Kingdom of Fife etc. I wonder if they think there is some sort of ley line going through there or something? Freaky! 😱💩
Hounds of Howgate Sevilla seemingly means ‘bad land’ not suitable for farming etc. Definitely a creepy bible and it came across in your video. Also. I have to wonder why I keep returning?

It's a great place for sure! 🙂🐾👍 I'll definitely be going there again: especially as it's only 30mins by car away from Glasgow!
