Coach I may know who this is. As I cover Penn State Football for my podcast. It was explained to me, that he (the player) asked for psychological help and he was basically pushed out. He was pretty angry about it. Not sure if it’s 100% him but it sounds like it may be.
Its not your employers job to pay for their employees shrinks.
The kid would have to be in treatment if I was his coach , he would be away from the team so in essence he would be cut but have a chance to come back
