I grew up adoring this man! Legendary actor & amazing human! 💖💙🤍✨
This is just awesome! And he is doing this with his son. Great memories for his boy. Big ups from New Zealand!!!!
One hell of a great guy. Loved his show Michael's Navy. Thank you for serving our country.
Remember everyone deployed. God bless you all. 🇺🇸
"He's the Tiger of the Pacific, Quinton McHale!"
He seems like such a regular person. I like that.
R.I.P CABBY. Don't Cross the Duke!
I had met him at his Doctor's office in Beverly Hills not long before his passing. He was very friendly and respectful to me and especially to the office/medical staff. I had the impression that they knew him for a good amount of time because they were very comfortable and jokingly with each other.
Ernie Borgnine a true Academy Award winner and STAR. But you would never know it to talk to him or see him greet people....HE ENJOYED LIFE. GOD BLESS ERNEST BORGNINE WE COULD USE A MILLION MORE LIKE HIM.
R.I.P. ERNIE WE MISS YOU.
I remember one time when he was asked about his being in the movie Willard. He said he took the job for the quick buck and when offered a percentage of the film if he took a lower base salary he declined because he said, "Who's going to watch a movie about a rat?" Movie turned out to be a huge hit and he would have made a ton more money if he had chosen the percentage.
1981 !! ERNEST DID A ONE MAN PLAY OF 3 CHARACTERS, WHAT A MASTER!!!! MOST SPELLBINDING ASTONSHING DEPTH OF CHARACTERS AND HE ONLY JUST TRANSITIONED BY LOOKING OR SLIGHT TURN OR STARES TO HIS SIDE IN CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN CHARACTERS IT WAS UTTERLY A PHEONOMINA!!!
Would loved to have sat down with Ernie just for a few minutes and listened to anything he had to say. He looked like he could be a tough you know what but then that laugh and smile. RIP Ernie, a true American Treasure.
I just found this other day. I thought enjoy watching these . I always liked Mr Borgnine as actor he could play a very tough mean guy and then he could play a nice guy. Can remember when he was on TV program highway to heaven you think that was in 80"s and to look back on when he done the movie Marty in 50"s that tells you how good he was as actor. And these videos of him are nice to see he was same decent person off screen and a regular person lot of these so called actors and celebrities of today could learn a lot from seeing a true gentleman wished could have met him when he was doing this what an honor it would have been . Ernest Borgnine is my hero ... His mantra every morning was " I got to get to work"... I live that every day too..
What a fantastic actor and obviously an all-qriund, down to earth great guy! I grew up watching darned near every episode of McHale's Navy, and my favorite movie role he played was the cabbie in "Escape form New York". RIP Mr. Borgnine!
I had a few opportunities to interact with Mr. Borgnine in Las Vegas. He was quite a gentleman and always had a nice thing to say.
Great in bad day in black rock, and dozens of other movies.
