Luck failed Italy against Brazil in the final, after a hard and tiring match in the semi-final against Germany ended with a hard victory for the Italians 4-3 .
Not luck, Brazil was simply far superior to Italy in the final

@@lokismig Brazil was obviously superior, but that Italy was very strong. In a better situation it would have been a different result, like 2-1 for Brazil. Even at extra-time.
@@giuliom3564 No one doubts that, Italy had a great World Cup and the semi-final against Germany has gone down in history as one of the best matches of all time.
What I point out is that Brazil did not win by luck, but because that team was superior to the others.
@@lokismig It would have been a very close game if Italy wasn't exhausted from the epic semi just 3 days prior to Germany. Not to mention the absence of Rivera their best player until very late in the game. However Brazil 1970 was the best team no doubt.

I giocatori di quegl'anni amavano la maglia, scendevano in campo e onoravano la squadra, ora sono solo macchine per soldi. Però devo anche dire che le movenze, il livello atletico era inferiore a quello di oggi. Se si potesse fare un incontro tra la nazionale di allora, contro il Sassuolo, l'Empoli, la Salernitana di oggi, quella nazionale perderebbe 3, 4 a zero. Ma non perché era meno talentuosa, composta da sxarsoni, ma perché la preparazione atletica era scarsa. Il calcio ha avuto una svolta dal "72, "74 in poi grazie al calcio totale inventato dall'Olanda di Crujiff. Il profeta del calcio. Chiusa questa parentesi onore e rispetto per Riva, Mazzola, Facchetti, Albertosi, Rivera & company. Squadra che ha fatto divertire, alcuni dei quali non ci sono più, vedi Facchetti, Prati, Anastasi, Rosato, Burnich.
In quell'anno nasceva sotto il regime comunista in Polonia June Nazionale fantastica con un certo Lato e Ciolek ....In panchina un ragazzino di nome Boniek e Zmuda !!! Il 1alla Juventus il 2 al Cesena in serie A

In 1970 the Italian team was mostly north Italians with white skin, now it's dark skinned southern Italians with tattoos all over their bodies.
Absolute stone wall penalty denied for Wales in that opening game. Good to know the Eyeties were bribing the refs as far back as the 60s 😎
