I loved this lady. Saw her in person and never laughed so hard!
sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account?
I stupidly lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Axl Gustavo instablaster =)
You're lucky to have such a memory.
lucky sob
A fabulous lady with a great sense of humor!!!!!
She was a riot. When I was younger we used to listen to her on the radio and crack up at her jokes😂
My folks were huge fans of Moms Mabley
I've heard her name a few times growing up, but this is the first time I've ever seen her, or heard her. She's funnier than I thought she'd be. Rest easy, funny lady.
Aside from comedy, just imagine how much she experienced in life. It’s crazy to think about
That line about Trigger is just too much. She’s right there between Merv Griffin and Arthur Treacher lol. I laughed so hard. “Moms” is such a legend and more people need to appreciate her ❤
i love Moms.
The trigger line was genius
I love the look on Merv’s face when she says it. When Whoppi Goldberg directed the documentary on her a few years back her production company reached out to us to license that exact joke.
Oh yeah. God that had me rolling 😂
Always loved her
I too saw Moms Mabley in person. But I really like her version of the Sinatra hit “I did it my way”. Here she sings it : “I did it His Way”. Love it.
She was funny and cute 😻
“Hello Trigger!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is a lady who certainly knew how to dress.
I always thought she was one of the funniest female comedians ever. I just wish there was more and longer TV recordings of her. You really have to search them out. Maybe 4-5 tops.
She made more Albums than she was on TV 📺
@@lamontadams49 True. You have to see her expressions to enjoy her act in my opinion.
Omg she was so funny lol
I had a Aunt who talked an dressed like Moms
Ha. Must've been quite a character.
I use to watch her when l was a little girl😂😂😂
Can you please post these two episodes of the show: May 21 1980, Jan 9 1970?? Please!!🙏 It's very important!
She was hilarious!!!!!!
"Mom's" had the bombs! 👏
This was on Merv's brand new show on CBS to compete with Johnny Carson. It's scripted, and I heard Moms' "Trigger" joke before on Merv's Westinghouse syndicated show. But it's a classic, always funny.
This is a performance, not an interview of the real person. It looks as if she hid behind the character and would not allow her real persona to come through or to be seen.
This darling woman was raped at 11 and had a baby as a result. Again at 14, and gave both babies up for adoption.
I loved moms. Whoopi patterned herself after her. But I think she may have lost her way a bit.
Funniest lady ever
She talked like she had no teeth.
She didn't. As part of her "moms" act.. she'd take them out backstage.
