Long time, maybe u learned it by now, but extruding geometry from plane to plane was probably done with Shift+move tool+V to extrude and snap to the planes and if you meant how they spread out the planes you place a certain number and you scale the length and they will distribute equally.

I appreciate what you guys do on all digital creation and the effort it takes. But this video is not representative of that, I seen other timelapses that show here the same elements like the stairs and the crane. Those items when needed in more than one model are just imported, I do not believe you do them from scratch for each model.
1120 hours for one boat. over 200 boats in game. so over 224000 man-hours or 106 man-years of design into boats alone. many boats have different hulls that fully change the boat. I hope they included play-test time in those huge numbers because that horribly inefficient design time
Don’t get me wrong, I think what you and others can do is fascinating and I’m old school I guess but wouldn’t you rather have something physical that you can see and touch. I know it’s a different skill and you could already have a real model of the Hood. You could build a beautiful 1/200 scale model of the ship. Perhaps I’m showing my age. Either way you did a great job
1120 hours... my longest game playtime is 702 hrs.. not warship my longest 3d model is 5 hours.. no words.. i mean probably there is a much longer creation but this is just 1 ship..

150 hours just for the hull blockout? Thats absolute nonsense, thats a half day job if you want to make it really perfect. That has like 20 intersections not 2000.You show 20 hours just to stretch out the rectangles, thats a 30 second job.
