    It is a testament to your remarkable pedagogical artistry that many of these lessons can be used both for language learning and for genuine spiritual meditation. Your choices from frame to frame and sequence to sequence and about how to teach some concept or form and what to teach next always exhibit patient reflection and an uncommon intelligence. Thank you so much for these beautiful works. They are so much more than mere language lessons, and yet they are the best language instruction around.

    Amazing! So wonderful to hear in Hebrew the message of God's faithful love throughout the Old Testament and by sending the Messiah, Jesus, and how God provided a lamb just as He provided it to save Isaac. I pray many will see, understand, believe, and call upon his name through this video.

    Thank you, Beth, Andrew and anyone else involved for making all of these videos they have been such a help to me. I started watching from lesson one about a year ago and have just caught up to real time today. I have learned a lot from them. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into them and for making them all free, I hope there are still many more videos to come. It was especially nice that Jesus was mentioned in this latest video. I regularly pray for you and that God would use these videos for his glory. תודה רבה

    Jesus Christ is the Moshiyach, and we are expecting Him to come a second time to judge the living and the dead. Yes, the Moshiach Jesus Christ is also the Lamb of the New Testament Pessah. Eating The Lamb of the Old Testament Pessah was to enter physically the earthly Holy Land. But eating the Lamb of the New Testament Pessah (Holy Communion) is to enter the Heavenly Holy Land. So who refuse to eat from the New Testament Pessah Lamb, is not possible for him to enter the Gan Eden the Heavenly Home Land. Such person will remain eternally in the Bondage of Mizraim! Everyone who does not accept Jesus as the Moshiach, is spiritually still in the Bondage of Mizraim.

    I have to say this is probably the most touching, and inspiring reflection lesson of the series, from the story of Ruth, to the unexpected surprise ending featuring John 1 in Hebrew (if I'm not mistaken, your first time quoting the New Testament). I realised afresh how God's steadfast love and faithfulnes have been chasing me all my days and how Yeshua is the ultimate completion and fulfillment of the Tanakh.
    Also, is it just me, or is John 1 so much more poetic in Hebrew than in Greek? "Bo hayiu chayyim ve'hachayyim hayiu or livnei ha'adam" clearly has so much euphony typical of the psalms. It just makes me think the author of John was writing in Greek, but really, was thinking in Semitic. I've come to that conclusion a year ago for entirely different reasons, but this would be one more piece of evidence

    At the time when Satan was falling from Heaven into the Abyss, he heard the following words: By the Tree you will vindicate, but you will be also vindicated by a Tree.
    What Satan heard he forgot immediately. When he seduced Adam and Hawa to eat from the Tree of knowing Good and Evil, he remembered half of the words he heard: By the Tree you will vindicate…
    But later on Satan was also struck and vindicated by the Cross-Tree of Jesus!

    Some mind-prided persons that fell of God and of the Jewish people also, are spitting on the Cross of the Moshiyah.
    In Genesis 4, 15 the Sign that God put on Cain's forehead nobody to kill him until the seventh generation, was a Cross-Sign, God put a Cross on Cain's forehead.
    The Cross is a great blessing: Patriarch Jacob blessed Joseph's sons with his crossed hands. Genesis 48,13-14
    In Exodus 12, 7-23, the time of eating the Old Testament Pessah Lamb, they put on the top and sides of the door-frame a blood Cross-Signs, they made Three Blood-Crosses which point out to Golgotha to the New Testament Pessah Lamb.
    On the command of God, Archangel Gabriel has intercrossed a Cross-Sign upon the foreheads of the good people in Jerusalem. Ezekiel 9.

      This channel is intended to teach Biblical Hebrew, and the OT is most certainly the only text written in that language...
      Edit: I see she quotes the book of John (which should be called "The Gospel according to John", not to be confused with "The Vision of John"), the NT was only translated to Hebrew in the 19th century, so it's not written in Biblical Hebrew, merely copying the style of the language...

      They are not using Delitzsch translation in this case - I use it extensively and find it very good indeed. It was compiled before the resurgence of spoken Hebrew (for the most part) and thus stays very true to the biblical Hebrew which I treasure. The faithfulness in translating 'kyrios' as יהוה where obviously applicable, is wonderful.

    Prophet Moses, writing the Bible, did not use the modern letters of the Babilonian-Aramaic Aleph-Beth which today is called Hebrew Aleph-Beth! Prophet Moshe did use the letters of the Ancient Eil-Beth for writing the Bible and this Eil-Beth contains Three Golgotha Crosses: One is for the Lamb of God-Jesus Christ and two for the two robbers crucified with Jesus. The Letter Taw-The Cross of Jesus, sometimes was written as: + and sometimes as: X. When you put on your shoulders a big Cross to carry it, it seems like the Taw: x. Thus both of these Cross-Signs + x refer to the same Cross of Jesus.

    @adrianblake8876 Shalom. The letter Taw means not just Sign but it means exactly: Cross-Sign because it is a Cross: + x !!!
    Thus the letter Taw of the Ancient Hebrew Eil-Beth refers to the Cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in the NT: Anohi haEil wehaTaw, that is: I am God's power and the Cross-Sign, the Cross!!!
    The first Eil-Beth was granted from God to Adam and Hawwa. This ancient Eil-Beth was used by the Jews until the Babylonian Captivity. In the time of Babylonian Captivity, the Jews abandoned the very precious Eil-Beth which was bestowed by God to Humanity. The Old Testament was rewritten in Babilonian-Aramaic letters which today is called Hebrew Aleph-Beth! And from the Original Old Testament written in ancient Eil-Beth there is no Copy made!!!

    1. I don't think I would've get what "chesed" is supposed to mean if hadn't known already beforehand, as you didn't actually define the word at any point in the video.
    2. While I may not be a fan of the NT, and I don't think it's relevant in a course designated to teaching Biblical Hebrew (because the NT is a late addition to the Hebrew repertoire in general, and while imitating BH in style, it's MH) there's a minor correction:
    שֵׁם הַסֵּפֶר אֵינוֹ "יוֹחָנָן" כִּי אִם "הַבְּשׂוֹרָה עַל־פִּי יוֹחָנָן", הֲלֹא יֵשְׁנוֹ אַף "חֲזוֹן יוֹחָנָן"...

      Shalom, may God-Elohim humble your prided mind! I can see that you are fighting against the Glorious Son of God Jesus Christ, that is Yeshuang hamMashiyah in Hebrew which means both Saviour and Heavenly King. Do you know why you poor man are fighting against the Heavenly King Jesus Christ? Here is the answer for you: you are not humbled before the Most High God, you are mind-prided man and your mind is occupied by the devil and the devil is your teacher! The devil has full authority on all mind-prided men because the devil himself is mind-prided!
      Do you know you poor man that the Glorious Jesus Christ is the Lamb of the New Testament Pessah? So Eating the Lamb of the Old Testament Pessah was to enter physically the earthly Holy Land. But eating the Lamb of the New Testament Pessah=taking Holy Communion is to enter the Heavenly Holy Land. So if you refuse to eat from the New Testament Pessah Lamb=Jesus Christ, is not possible for you to enter the Gan Eden the Heavenly Home Land-You will spiritually remain eternally in the Bondage of Mizraim!

      @@johnsnow499 Yes, but some mind-prided persons that fell of God and of the Jewish people, are spiting on the Cross of the Moshiyah.
      The Cross is a great blessing: Patriarch Jacob blessed Joseph s sons with his Crossed hands. Genesis 48,13-14

      On the command of God, Archangel Gabriel has intercrossed a Cross-Sign (Cruciform) upon the foreheads of the good people:

      And YHWH said unto him (unto Archangel Gabriel): Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and intercross a Cross-Sign (Cruciform) upon the foreheads of the people that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst thereof.
      And to the other angels He said in my hearing, Go you through the city after him (after Gabriel), and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have you pity;
      slay utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women;
      But come not near any man upon whom is the Cross-Sign (Cruciform)… Ezekiel 9
