I have played all the Dragon Quest (Warrior) since first one. I love the series. I started playing this remaster and love it. I love the graphics. The voice acting of parts they do. That they show the enemy as yellow when getting low on health and red when almost dead. Enjoyed watching you play. Thanks ❤❤❤
My start of game was different from yours. instead of being in a desert I was in a town and I was a monster and killed everyone? lol I think it's based on the questions and answers at the beginning
Yeah i was worried about switch performance and though it chugs a bit here and there I am absolutely loving it. Love the fairly hands off approach and minimal handholding plus plenty of grinding. Im one of the ones who loves plenty of combat. So much stuff to find and a lot more customisation than i thought with character stats! Its really great so far.

The game looks good, but after seeing the overhaul 'Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven' received developers like Square Enix can't expect people to engage with this historic story when there are juggernauts like 'FF7: Rebirth' running flawlessly in all its glory on the PS5 Pro. I understand that these kind of projects are good for newly hired staff to build essential skills, but personally, I feel the H2-2D art style is better suited for brand new game series, like 'Triangle Strategy' for example.
Very odd take. I think that rebirth is overdone, overblown, melodramatic, too flashy, and so on. Rs2 remake looks like an updated ps2 game(not in a good way). I'm not the only one who thinks this.
@@jellojiggler1693 Well, I still have my PS2 slim, so I guess I would unconsciously gravitate more towads the 'PS2 looking RS2' than the 'HD-2D RS2' that was released quite recently before it. The way I see it is that if more retro games use the HD-2D art style as a stepping stone to get to the PS2 or PS5 quality game style it takes away from a more recent series like: Triangle Strategy, Octopath, or Bravely Default - thus pushing these series to adapt - thus phasing out this niche handheld art style as fast as it was introduced. Here's my odd take for you: I feel those retro rpg games from the SNES and PS1 era should get the 'Tales of Graces F Remastered' treatment and not the 'Triangle Strategy' treatment.

Get the PS5 version instead. I have the switch version and I’m not liking the frame rate on switch. It’s more SD 2D than HD 2D
