Since 1944 T-34-85 was the main tank of the Red Army in the Great Patriotic War.

Listen to the dialect of the German commander on the Panther. He sounds exactly like a Russian. Kinda reminds you of British actors who play German roles in WWII films, eh?
1, A shot like that is almost impossible, at least not with this much accuracy. 2, AP with not cap would most likely bounce off at that angle. 3, Even if it would peneterate, that much armor is not enough to set off the fuse. 4, If it does go trough and set off the fuse, it would have exploded in a fraction of a second. 5, If (and a very big IF) it does go trough, it does set off the fuse, and it has this much delay, it would come out in the back of the turret, and bouncing off of the top hull armor, exploding behind the tank.
No, the panther has a weird armor profile, its thickness and weird angle caused a slight delay in the round going through. Upon going through, it meets resistance. The delay came from the resistance so the commander realized. The panther has ammo in the side of the turret so the shell went through and didn’t puncture the armor, rather it cooked it off with the heat from the round that was caused by the friction from the resistance
+Panzer Wolf Why ? T-34-85 was able to penetrate front armor of the "Panther" from distance at 1200 meters, and T-34-85 weight was 32 tons, but weight of the "Panther" was 52 tons. It's proven superiority of Russian technology, aren't it ?
First of all the only thing that is accurate about this movie is that the fact that the germans actually wore tank uniforms compare to the russians they fucking wore prison out fits ... that not even close the a russian tank outfit and not only that how do they know the distance of the pather if they dont even have a rage finder or bincoulars like the german tank commander had?
As much as i hate it :D i have to say regarding all of its abilities the T-34/85 was the best tank off WWII. I am not talking about a one on one fight against a tiger or panther tank (the T-34/85 was able to defeat the panther without a doubt, the tiger was some harder to crack) but its innovation in tank constructing were formidable such as the bevelled armor, spare of supporting rolls for the tracks (less material to use),it was easy to build,it was kinda cheap to build, its diesel motor was very reliable and even the first T-34 with their 75mm main weapon were because of their muzzle velocity (which was much higher than in the german tanks Panzer III and Panzer IV)superior and it was easy to handle. Especially with its 85mm main weapon it was a deadly tank and captured T-34/85 tanks were very welcome by the Germans. The only real bad thing about the T-34 was in the first time of the conflict the lack of a radio to coordinate the attacks. The crews weren´t well trained at all and got a lack of experience so the casualities were more than necessary because Stalin threw everything into battle what could drive if you know what i mean.As good as the T-34 was ( waaay better than the U.S. Shermans for example - not to mention the italian ones) the success of the T-34 lied in the large number of constructed T-34´s. I have to excuse me i am not an english speaking native but i hope i could make me understand.
The T-34/85 certainly was not the best tank. > *_"the T-34/85 was able to defeat the panther without a doubt"_* Practically all tanks can manage to "knock out" another. Especially with a vague word such as "knock out" in terms of warfare. The T-34/85 was limited in doing so against the Panther in frontal combat. It was completely incapable of penetrating the UFP of the Panther at any range. The LFP at 400m or less ,and the mantlet only at 500m. > *_"with their 75mm main weapon were because of their muzzle velocity"_* The early T-34s only had 76.2mm guns. Even then, though it was a good gun, the sights and visibility were never proficient, and the Soviet tanks would be the last ones to get a shot off. > *_"captured T-34/85 tanks were very welcome by the Germans."_* As summarized from a recently removed Lone Sentry articles (summarized from the Beutepanzer website), "The T-34 was very automotively unimpressive, not suitable for long term usage, and difficult to man. The T-34 was not well liked by its crews overall. > *_"The only real bad thing about the T-34 was in the first time of the conflict the lack of a radio to coordinate the attack"_* And armor quality. Though T-34s were on paper supposed to deflect all munitions, in 1941, it was recorded that 97% of all hits on the T-34 penetrated by a Waffenamt-prufwesen I study. And as *Hero of the Soviet Union*, Sgt. Major Dmitriy Fedor Loza puts it in a interview with Valeri Potapov published in 2010. He served on Lend Lease tanks for most of the war, including 5 M4A2(76)W. - *_"For a long time after the war I sought an answer to one question. If a T-34 started burning, we tried to get as far away from it as possible, even though this was forbidden. The on-board ammunition exploded. For a brief period of time, perhaps six weeks, I fought on a T-34 around Smolensk. The commander of one of our companies was hit in his tank. The crew jumped out of the tank but were unable to run away from it because the Germans were pinning them down with machine gun fire. They lay there in the wheat field as the tank burned and blew up. By evening, when the battle had waned, we went to them. I found the company commander lying on the ground with a large piece of armor sticking out of his head. When a Sherman burned, the main gun ammunition did not explode. Why was this?"_* On top of that, general target awareness and target servicing was inferior on the T-34/76 to any tank. And comparable to Italian vehicles. > *_",its diesel motor was very reliable"_* later variants of the V-2, such as the V-2-10 and such, were reliable. The V-2-34, and the other subtypes of the engine were renown for overheating, and having extremely faulty air cleaners and coolant filters. > *_"waaay better than the U.S. Shermans for example"_* How was a T-34/76 M.1942 better than any typical M4(75), M4A2(75), or M4A4(75)? Or how would a T-34/85 be better overall than a typical M4A1(76)W or M4A3(76)W HVSS?
You know far more then me but I would just like to also add that as far as I know the Sherman Firefly, although British if I remember correctly had a superior gun to the T-34/85, and I also heard the 7.5 cm L/70 gun equip to the Panther tanks was 1 f the most feared anti-tank weapons in the war.
It's a T-34-85. More stronger than t-34. Btw check out finnish movie "Winter war". Here's 5 soldiers with no granedes stopped almost one red division and made them run. lol
Sad that almost every new world war 2 movie is not loyal to the real thing. Only the first landing scene of "private Ryan" feels right to me.... This days everything is exaggerated like if its a batman movie or some superhero concept... Tired of all the shit that is only intended to make money without any aim to tell a real historical event.
Per-Erik Krause I thought Our World War (British TV series about WW1) was at least somewhat accurate, Fury wasn't at all, and Saving Private Ryan's opening scene was a big 'ole orgy of blood n' guts. Just like it should be.
this movie - the remake which is strongly changed. The present movie was based on real events. "Lark" is called. On the present was so. On the Sandomierz base, to the Soviet positions there was a tankman escaping from prisoner-of-war camp. Soon this person starved, having managed to tell a story of the escape, however: "… With two companions SS-men brought it on Kunersdorfsky (so in the original - an editor's note) the ground also forced to participate in test of the tank on a bronestoykost. Before test the chairman of the fascist commission very much praised our crew - so quickly and accurately they executed all commands. Here supposedly it, "рюс" sharpness! Promised tankmen full freedom if survive. When before execution people got into the tank, the commander stroked armor and ordered to the mechanic-driver: "To listen only to my team!" And the tank rushed at the third speed directly on an observation tower. Gunners did not shoot that not to beat the chiefs: the commander of the tank was both the brave, and clever person, calculated everything. They behaved disgracefully there - he so told it: "behaved disgracefully". Some fools SS-men on alarm on the armored personnel carrier arrived - decided the tank to pacify! It their caterpillars straight off suppressed - shells were not. Then fighters on the East waved. When fuel came to an end, began to make the way on foot on the woods. Both the commander, and the mechanic-driver in way died, the radio operator one live crawled".
Between the Fury Road, and 28 Days Later music, I'd say it's not an actual movie. Some of the comments are amusing though...people so smart to know about tanks, but don't notice painfully obvious music😂
Vladmir - Ivan we have spotted a german tenk. Ivan - Don't worry komrades. JOSEF LOAD APHEVCHEAT (armour piercing high explozive vodka kapped high explozive anti tenk). Vladmir - Don't worry komrades the german tenk hez been vodkafied.
A glancing shot off the Panther's turret roof causes a brew up? If it even penetrated the commander of the tank wouldn't just be standing there unflinching and unhurt..A little Russian bias there I think..
Aint real and the armament of the t34 is F-34 tank gun but in this movie it appears to be a t34-85 which has Zis S-53 gun the scene where the t34-85 fired unreal only SPG's (Self Propelled Gun) can do shots like that for example the SU-76 equip with the 76mm which can easily pierce through 178mm armor at 1,000 m (3,300ft) mean while the regular panther has 16mm(0.63) at 5•; but the model in this movie was the Ausf.D/A which has 30 mm (1.2 in) at 5• and the panther is equip with the 7.5 cm kwk 42 L/70 the panthers gun can pierce through 234 if the gun was loaded with APCR while the t-34-85 has a ammunition which is a Shell 85X629 mm.R Caliber 85mm(3.34 in) can pierce through 136mm Armour at 500mm if the loader loaded apcr but in the movie it looks like it was a HE (High Explosive) which pierces through I don't know but the shell should have exploded when it hit the top part of the turret and killed the frickin German commander but in the movie the tank was hit with the shell and penetrated which hit the ammunition rack which causes the panther to explode and the t-34-85 killed another panther by hitting it in the frontal hull and again hits the ammunition rack and explodes the panther. The shell that the t34 fired should have ricochet and the panther should have fired and hit the t34 and kills it overall its fiction
Your argument for the 85mm doesn't concern normalization, or penetration lost in the impact angle on one plane, nor the compound angle. Though logically your correct on the Panther's thinner armor on the top, it again forgets the fact that its well beyond the point of normalization, and will ricochet. Modern munitions typically won't do this, but at a practically flat angle, it can occur even with these newer ballistic performances.
Yes only those in the US who have a fondness for Nazis should make war films well really need a resurgence of films showing Tigers killing every one else every time
AlexHalt100 Fury: "Murican tanks are amazin'! Totally not a tender box!" This movie: "Tee-thirty-four iz stronk Stalinium Steel comrade! Bounce all shots! Does not have shitty optic port, we swear!" War Thunder: "Rice armor vs. KV-2, the game"
Action looks like typical fake ass movie bull shit, writen by people with no real knowledge of armor at all. The Ghost of Stalin reached up from the depths of hell to arc that shell over the hill. LOL.
If the WWI and WWII movies would be real (not fake) .. u will only see russian and german movies only .. and a few US ones Never the less all the WW movies full of lies just like fury
Since 1944 T-34-85 was the main tank of the Red Army in the Great Patriotic War.
With a slightly increased overall armor protection, thanks to the tower, (in comparison with the T-34-76 tank), but inadequate, in comparison with heavy enemy tanks, the T-34-85 tank practically did not lose its former mobility and maneuverability - the main advantage of the medium tank In fights with the tanks "Tiger" and "Panther". Glory to Great Russia!
Overall for the turret, not the hull.
T-34/85 lost significant maneuverability, and depending on the definition/conditions, mobility as well. The speed dropped to 38km/h maximum. Only in 5th gear. Steering due to the added weight was more difficult (it was a clutch break system, so no mechanical assistance in applying the brake).
Ground pressure increased, though flotation remained mostly unchanged.

This should be new WarThunder trailer "The russian bias"

Allied countries make movies that shows they re more superior then the germans but in real life they are just plain old outdated vehicles.

Russia is a strong and big country ....
The firepower of the T-34 seems very realistic.
28 Days/Weeks Later main theme music lol
I love how everyone clowned on this so much but the actual movie was pretty decent
this is why you shouldnt have hp bars in tank movies/games
1, A shot like that is almost impossible, at least not with this much accuracy.

This is wrong on so many levels xD
werr kowalski explain how?
I want to know how a bounced shell causes the tank to explode
00:41 that was funny
a lot of people in the comment just cannot take the bias joke...
White Tiger was more accurate than this
Lol yeah... and that movie is a fantasy drama :D

guys its only a movie calm down.
I'm not WOT player like most people here. This "trailer" can be interpreted in many ways, but no serious even that looks like serious.

watch winter war or a bridge to far
the bullet bouced on the armor and the tank exploded.
wtf?
this isnt T 34 this is T 34/85...
Radek Burian thats right and t 34 85 is the only russian medium that can be capable of this fire power
Head to head with a Panther, the T-34 would lose...armor was too thin for that high powered 75MM
I cant wait!
2:36 how did he shoot him ? luck ? and it richochet it didn't pentrate and how the tank exploded ???
Future Gamer you can see the hole
At that angle it would rip a chunk out not leave a whole and if it was a hole it wouldn't leave a red mark but a red ring.
Future Gamer
luckiest shot ever in whole ww2😋
At that angke it would penetrate the panthers top, you idiots, it is a 85mm shell.
is it me or i heard that tune on 28 weeks later or some other movie?
That is a goddamn T-34-85!
Germans are crushing ;) always
that T-34 tank crews r in there sleeping dresses or gulag prison dresses ? 😒 WTF .
If this doesn't get a U.S release I'm going to be very upset!! Looks pretty awesome !!!!
if it doesn't we'll always have the fan subs :3
RedHannya considering the Fury Road, and 28 Days Later music, I'm going to say it's fake...
RedHannya awesome for 13 years old kids only
What :D? It's so unsrealistic shit with bad effect and a song from another movie, the "300". This is just a cheap propaganda clip.
did the commander of the Panther A tank say the F word after the shell hit?
George S. Patton He said "Shit"
I want to write this video, can I use it?
life is to short for russian war movies
This is cheeki breeki movie.
ohh my god, I am crying I'm laughing so much
Isn't it 28 days later OST?
looks fine made movie...
1:25 what song?
It's the movie "Stalingrad" isn't it?
somone knows the title of the last song in this video (with drum, guitar, bass ...) ?
russian tank crew...are they using pajamas?
t-34 cant penetrate panthers front armour
It didn't hit the frontal armor.
Nathan Peterson wtf ? ty kliknut se a dat mi odber a kliknut tu a fat mi pizzu ;) ps:vita
A glancing shot off the Panther's turret roof causes a brew up? If it even penetrated the commander of the tank wouldn't just be standing there unflinching and unhurt..A little Russian bias there I think..
Russian is stronk
Is he the same actor in White Tiger?
RNG Taketh RNG Giveth
it's called the soundtrack?

Do a if this was a war thunder game
Low-budget, B rate movie. A must watch......
The crew of the t-34/85 was 5 men not 4
5 man - t-34/76
4 man - t-34/85
@@baromiejkos2166 no

It's russian bias time
It's gonna be awesome to watch it when it comes out. You just don't mess with the T-34! 💪💪
No, just no
Aint real and the armament of the t34 is F-34 tank gun but in this movie it appears to be a t34-85 which has Zis S-53 gun the scene where the t34-85 fired unreal only SPG's (Self Propelled Gun) can do shots like that for example the SU-76 equip with the 76mm which can easily pierce through 178mm armor at 1,000 m (3,300ft) mean while the regular panther has 16mm(0.63) at 5•; but the model in this movie was the Ausf.D/A which has 30 mm (1.2 in) at 5• and the panther is equip with the 7.5 cm kwk 42 L/70 the panthers gun can pierce through 234 if the gun was loaded with APCR while the t-34-85 has a ammunition which is a Shell 85X629 mm.R Caliber 85mm(3.34 in) can pierce through 136mm Armour at 500mm if the loader loaded apcr but in the movie it looks like it was a HE (High Explosive) which pierces through I don't know but the shell should have exploded when it hit the top part of the
turret and killed the frickin German commander but in the movie the tank was hit with the shell and penetrated which hit the ammunition rack which causes the panther to explode and the t-34-85 killed another panther by hitting it in the frontal hull and again hits the ammunition rack and explodes the panther. The shell that the t34 fired should have ricochet and the panther should have fired and hit the t34 and kills it overall its fiction
MR.FREEZE GAMING shish
Your argument for the 85mm doesn't concern normalization, or penetration lost in the impact angle on one plane, nor the compound angle.
Though logically your correct on the Panther's thinner armor on the top, it again forgets the fact that its well beyond the point of normalization, and will ricochet. Modern munitions typically won't do this, but at a practically flat angle, it can occur even with these newer ballistic performances.
Nathan Peterson thanks
A film called Panther would be better...
Did he say shit or Crap ?@ 2:38
doesn't shit and crap mean the same
I don't think so?
war thunder is like this
Why the 28 days later's song?
nice... . ....... ... ...
nice movie
so much wrong with this "movie"
someone should forbid the russians to make WW2 films
Yes only those in the US who have a fondness for Nazis should make war films well really need a resurgence of films showing Tigers killing every one else every time
'member furry? same shit.
yep. absolutely. amazing how a fucking stupid army like the germans could conquer all of europe.
AlexHalt100 Fury: "Murican tanks are amazin'! Totally not a tender box!"
This movie: "Tee-thirty-four iz stronk Stalinium Steel comrade! Bounce all shots! Does not have shitty optic port, we swear!"
War Thunder: "Rice armor vs. KV-2, the game"
And the Chinese
of course
Action looks like typical fake ass movie bull shit, writen by people with no real knowledge of armor at all. The Ghost of Stalin reached up from the depths of hell to arc that shell over the hill. LOL.
SIXPACFISH lmfao
SIXPACFISH ahahaha you're right
Wrong tank for 'Hand of Stalin' to guide your shell....everyone knows that only happens if you have a KV-2
If the WWI and WWII movies would be real (not fake) .. u will only see russian and german movies only .. and a few US ones
Never the less all the WW movies full of lies just like fury
Omar Lukasheh Italians films about the World Wars are real
