As a person who started off with robeats, and moved to osu mania, robeats has a delay on clicks that makes your accuracy 90% more garbage, and robeats is so fucking pay to play/win, just get osu mania, it’s less of a waste of time, but hey, now I’m able to pass some 5 star maps and I’m glad I got to osu mania when I did

The only mechanic I don’t like about RoBeats is how you have to time your release on the hold notes. It’s really hard to get used to, but other than that, it’s a pretty fun game.
A couple things 1) you said timing for hold notes is super strict. It’s actually the same as regular notes, it just feels weird. There’s an audio offset option that will help with this. 2) mashing buttons before the first note will not give you any misses 3) freedom dive is actually pretty commonly owned among more experienced players, you should have asked someone 4) this game actually has really wide timing windows, it’s just it’s in Roblox so it’s hard to sync properly 5) the one 15 you played (diavolo) is just a bad chart, there are so many better ones

Try setting your offset to a comfortable level if you keep missing. And play multiplayer so you can use songs you don’t own because your teammates will own the songs :)
None of the charts are from osu! itself. They are mapped within the osu! Game because it's simply easier to port the mapping over. I've played robeats for coming up on a year now and it's what introduced me into osu! and your channel. I understand the points you are making, but please remember. Roblox is a very limited game, your complaints about hit timing windows can also be fixed with gear. Also, spotco (dev of robeats) has to monetize this game in any way he can, otherwise it can not survive. He works really hard on this game and as much time he puts in it wouldn't be possible without making the money he does off of it. Which isn't that much to live off of, considering it's a roblox game with an average of 300-500 concurrent players. I do love that you decided to try it though. I appreciate the time you have taken to explore the robeats community and provide a hilarious video that had me laughing the entire way through

The note machine is used to craft gear upgrades and in the same building as the note machine is where you can buy gear, it give you an advantage and can boost your accuracy and timing for sticking notes. Each round you play you get coins which is the Robeats game currency. You can earn coins depending on what place you get in the round you play (out of four people) you’ll get more coins if you land in first place: first place = 40 coins Second place = 35 coins Third place = I forgot Last place = 20 coins You can also earn coins AND STARS (yeah you don’t have to buy them because that’s a waste of money) by doing missions. Missions is a small tab on the bottom right of the screen that requires you to win, get a specific score or grade for a reward of the specified amount of coins, stars or gems. If you complete all quests you need you’ll rank up. If you have any more questions I suggest you go contact a Robeats discord moderator/dev, you could also add me on roblox if you want but I’m pretty sure you won’t lmao.
The Freedom Dive in RoBeats is actually pretty scary for me. The hard mode, I mean. Most of the notes are close together, and it’s too complicated for me.

Robeats actually has a wider selection of songs available to buy daily now! Also you can get stars and coins for free by completing missions and stuff.
You can increase note speed by getting more gear. You can increase the hit window by getting more gear. You can decrease the combo misses. RoBeats is weird and i still play it.
you have to buy or create gear in robeats to make your stats better and have more or less perfect time. and also your gear can upgrade your scroll speed, perfect time, perfect points, etc
To get stars and coins the fast way, play songs and do the daily quests. The shop changes every day. Large red note is rally good because fever must is rly good

You can get stars by talking to the player npcs or you can do the daily or weekly missions

You can increase note speed by getting more gear. You can increase the hit window by getting more gear. You can decrease the combo misses. RoBeats is weird and i still play it.

To get stars and coins the fast way, play songs and do the daily quests. The shop changes every day. Large red note is rally good because fever must is rly good

I first started off with Robeats and then moved to mania same as my friend got to tell you there is a massive difference. We literally made a mania skin with circles because I was so used to it
Wow, I thought this video was recent because of the RB battles.
But I think osu!mania is harder because it doesn't give you a chance to click on the button when you miss the button that you have to hold, and if you miss a note you basically instantly die
Btw, it doesn’t count as a miss before notes appear. When the first note is ‘hittable,’ then, that’s when it could count as a miss... you probably already know though
The song selection isn't small at all. You complete quests for either coins or stars. New songs come out every day.
