Anyone else here in 2023 feeling sad that this channel stopped? The content was so good, the voice overlay, the attention to detail! The hobby is very specific but we who enjoy it can only pray that this channel will come back and start again! Even if it's a video a month that would be gold!

Your work "Crimson Sky" is still in my plans to reproduce, after watching the video about this awesome project I fell in love with flat tanks. There is 'fast' and then there is 'too fast' timelapse. Unfortunately, this was latter. Speed was so fast i really couldn't make out what was happening. Except the two water pours. Next time i suggest aim for 5min length.

For Timelapse Videos I would suggest not to switch the perspective. This was quite frustrating to watch.
Just keep the top down perspective, that would be really satisfying to look at.

It would be more work bu a split screen with a front on and a top view playing simultaneously would be awesome. I also think it needs to be slowed down just a touch.
Could have the top down and the front camera angles side by side playing at the same time as they're vertical videos.
James was one of the best Aquascapers in the UK no doubt,we enjoyed his content 👏

I watched the longer video of the construction of this, but I would have loved a timelapse that showed how the plants grew/changed and were trimmed/edited in that first 3 month period. I've really learned a lot from the timelapse videos of the nano tank on the Foo the Flowerhorn channel.
I'm an avid reefer but currently planning my first planted aquascape. I've watched and appreciate all your vids. I have one question regarding the placement of filter and co2 inlets/outlets...while I understand they are clear glass and plastic pieces to keep a low profile, IMO they are still unsightly and detract from the natural look of the aquascape. My question is why there isn't more emphasis placed on hiding these pieces towards the back or behind hardscape; instead I mostly see them placed in plain view near the front corners. Is this placement a matter of functionality?... or merely showing off the fancy equipment. With reef tanks, we're always trying to hide as much of the life support equipment as possible.

hi, I have a question for you. My tap water is really hard, the TDS of my tap water is around 650 !! I have buce, anubias, and java fern in 20 gallons(with one betta) ..I am planning to mix Ro water and Tap water to bring my TDS down.
1)My question is to what level should I bring down my TDS so that its safe for fish(BETTA) and plants(BUCE, ANUBIAS, and JAVA FERN) ??
2) Or should I just leave it as it is ??

What was the Tropica fertiliser dosing routine that James used to use?
Hey guys love the channel. I just finished watching every single one of your videos. I am about to start a 200 gallon aquascape, and have found your videos very helpful and inspiring. James is truly an artist at what he does. But, I was wondering if you guys could put out a video covering the maintenance of all your tanks. Sure anybody can create a stunning tank, but without proper care it will become overgrown and might possibly develop problems with algae and other such things. What kind of work goes into maintaining such aquariums? How does one properly prune back or trim up certain species of plants? Like how you made the video describing how to prepare all the different kinds of plants. Make some videos describing how to take care of the plants. Oficial version is James retired.
Reality was they were losing money, TGM was in wales, was way out of reach for almost anyone in the UK, while they were the only specialist aquascaping shop it worked, but once new shops started poping up everywhere they started losing their costumers base.
I was a costumer for years, but never visited, it was just too far, once i had quality alternatives in my área that i could physically go to i stoped being costumer.
Didn't Help that the costumer service got worse through the years, not from James himself, but i had a couple of Times where James himself had to send me and e-mail to apologize for staff mistakes.
The Channell was great, but the shop behind it collapsed, and once that happened no more videos.
But at 60 years old i Guess James wouldn't be doing it for much longer anyway.
I think my heart just broke when I looked at this channel bc I hadn't seen a video in a while and saw the last post was 3 years ago :( one of my all time go too relax channels Mayne

James isn’t planting tanks anymore. We do have some archive footage but it’s not of complete tanks eg build to maturity. We also have some footage of Amano doing a demo in Germany that we’ve never published
There is potential to publish others’ work on this channel… if anyone would like to contribute

it's funny how ADA prides themselves on minimalism and perfect transparence of the tank, but then slaps a tacky logo in the lower right corner. LOL

He’s stopped aquascaping… times change and people move on… the shop closed and he wanted to do different things. As for this channel it’s great that people still enjoy it, but without a shop full of plants and equipment, and without our lead aquascaper, making new content isn’t simple anymore
