Ive had MOST wheels.. there is NO better sounding wheel. The Nikola is a bit louder but not as full. 16x is a fantastic wheel even in or specially because its 2022. :) good choice.

16x is a fantastic wheel, I almost feel bad upgrading to v12 hs but I'll keep my 16x as a backup wheel for sure.
Imma upgrade to the sherman, save up for 2 years and i'll be ready
Also upgraded to V12 but for me the v12 is the backup wheel :D

I love my 16X, good range 40 miles, never had 60, Im 82Kg, more nimble than my S18, a high torque, climbing animal. I put the NyloNove Foot Plates on mine which was a really good idea. The original tyre wasn't, a CX321, so I changed it for a Chao Yang H-5167, much better. Changing the tyre on this wheel is not the worst, though the screws are under the foam. I gloped the tube. Still has the best trolly handle of any EUC. I never charge it unattended, quite often use the S18 5A charger instead. I use EUC World when I'm riding. Mine does have a screen because I put a Samsung 5mini on the top with velcro, powered with one of the USB ports. The speakers are good, don't often use them. You can make the wheel sound like a Harley Davidson via EUC World if you want - that turns heads. The foot plates are high, but the S18 is higher. A great wheel I would recommend it.
If only you could get a bigger battery S18
@@chrisogrady28 26 miles is good enough for me. Batteries mean weight and the S18 is a good off road machine.
16x still looks like a fun wheel. But I got no use for it.
The Sherman is my road wheel. I ordered the S22 as my off road wheel. I also got the Mten3.

Hey @monocat it would be great if you kept posting videos! I watched every single one so far and really enjoyed them all. I know you’ve moved country and you probably had quite an unsettling time, but hopefully once you’re feeling stable and happy in your new city you can keep up this awesome YT channel 😊You have a fantastic sense of humour and great editing and filming skills. Plus your riding style is a lot like mine - it’s all fine seeing pros go to the extreme in videos but it’s also great to hear a more balanced and realistic perspective.

I actually just today ordered a KS 16XS and now I'm waiting it to ship. It said it would take about 2-7 business days.

perfect machine
After owning the wheel for 1 week and riding over 350+ km. IM COMPLETLY IN LOVE WITH THIS WHEEL!!!! It really is a good allrounder and I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS WHEEL to someone who's a beginner or a little experienced. The only downside right now is that I don't have a air pump/valve extender and because of that I don't have that much pressure in my tire. I'm going to go buy one on Monday probably.
Before owning the KS-16XS I had a IPS131 which is almost a 9 year old machine and didn't ride that well. IPS131 was something close to the first Airwheels

Lookin' gooooood. And you are as well. I personally give the advantage to the Tesla, mainly because it doesn't squawk at me when only at 50% battery, but maybe that's just me. Loved the video and what you have done with your hair; very cooool. 😎👍

I wanted to buy the 16X when it came out but I had just bought the my first wheel the 16S a few months earlier so could not justify such luxury.
I was actually wondering if the channel had died. glad that is not the case

Hello monocat, good video of the umboxing, I love the kingsong 16x I'm thinking of buying one even if it's a slightly older model I think it's one of the safest compact and balanced wheels today but I have a question, I've seen what you've tried the begode t4, would you buy a t4 before the 16x if you had the opportunity?. This is the wheel I'm learning on. They didn't have V12's in stock so I had to buy this. So far so good. It's not too heavy whilst having good power and range from what I can tell. Very balanced specs. Mines is pretty banged up already though. The only thing I dislike about the wheel is the lack of a stand. Oh actually I HATE the air valve position. It's horrrrrible.
I wish they wren't so expensive so I could try more wheels.
all wheels have crap air stem.. ALL of them. Youre not missing much, the v12 was just ok.
The v12 was and seems to still be full of issues.
i think the 16x should be more agressively priced looking at voltride prices 2200 euros is a lot now.you got nikola plus for the same price or you get 400 more and you got v12. i think 16x would be awesome at 1800 euros.
400 more then you get all the quality issues that come with the v12

Is it normal that when you first get on it and take off there's a quick grinding noise? I just got the wheel today.

Using a 16X for almost 2 years now and there is nothing much to complain of. My only wish that the maximum speed would be a bit higher and if i try to ride with only one leg the shell is rubbing against the tire!

This can happen if one of the foot pedal mounting brackets gets loose. It's an easy fix but takes a while to take it apart. If the problem gradually gets worse over time, then it's likely to be just a realignment and re-tightening. Good Luck

I have mixed feelings wether or not to get 16x with the bigger or smaller battery, as it is a lot of money :/
Get the 16x, it's a timeless wheel... but learn on a sub-$250 wheel or pad up the 16x case as much as possible. Good luck.
Where is the bars for batteries like Kingsong they have bars like 9 how can u tell on this??

Hello dear Kate, I confess that I do not resign myself!! I sold my KS 16X because I couldn't enjoy it, but I will always have the bad taste of having lost an excellent wheel. I weigh 54 kilos and the heavy and wide wheels are very difficult for me. I ASK YOU: do you agree with me that to enjoy a heavy and wide wheel it is necessary that the person driving the wheel is "heavy and wide"? Or at least that this person is over 75 kilograms? I would very much like to know your opinion about the wheel weight/roller weight ratio. I would like a Master... but the wheel and I would weigh almost the same hahahahaha. If you answer me, I would appreciate it. I'm Olga, from Medellin Colombia. (How have you felt with your new 16X?)

Would like to help you out with your question. Since I weigh considerably more than you, I can't really share anything from my personal experience. But I know of a very young miss who masters every wheel out there, so check her out, hope it will help you somehow. Cheers

Those fuses are definitely for the wheel, blew two of them going some small steps, although I went a bunch of stairs the day before. But save those, seems like a common problem for 16x. Also the quality of the plastic of this wheel sucks
tomorrow I will receive, my new 16X :-)....although i am worried about the support, these days i wrote some emails to KingSong, never got a reply :-(

Why my kingsong showing 0.3 amps while. Charging

how is it compared to 18 ?
Is that S18? The 16X with its 16" wheel is more nimble than the S18, though that's far from a problem for the S18. The S18 foot plates are higher. The 16X range is much better, I get around 26 on the S18. Of course it doesn't have the suspension and that's why I love my S18, and that really does make a difference. It does have more torque, better climbing ability. The 16X is an excellent wheel I ride it lot.
@@Roskellan I have both 16x and s18 wheels, both wheels are equally maneuverable and the pedals are at the same height after standing on the s18 (shock absorption lowers the feet to a height of 16x). Apart from the shock absorption, I do not see any difference in driving between these wheels. I drove 5000 km on 16x and 4000 km on s18.
